Comcast - Dont waste you time with "upgrading" to the new cable box

where to begin; i got a so called new upgrade cable box from comcast on friday. 3 days later nothing but problems. lets see. the volume does not work on the remote, the mute button does not work you can not use the guide to forward to the next day. if you record a program and want to turn off the tv you cant. now i have a DUI message for the last two hours the tv will no go on. I have a sony bravia lcd. i did not have these problems with my old box. And to sweeten the misery, the cable box numbers on the front of the box are large and vivid white blaringly so much that you need to buy a blue film to lower the light intensity. even with the blue plastic its still glaring. i wish i could cancel and go with verizon , but they dont have the fios service in my neighborhood yet. I've been on the phone to customer support Numerous time with no avail.
