After numerous conversations with the "owner" of Wholesale Warranties, (Jeff Shelton) The best that could be done was a refund of our initial contract cost.However that did NOTHING to help offset a single penny of damage that was done, and the amount we had to pay out...

Priceline - They have refused to cancel reservation unless we pay a "service fee"

So what has "Priceline" done to rectify this? NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.......The refunded a portion of the charge, while still refusing to rescind the "termination fee". And because the issues was a refund, my bank was not able to do anything to help, because the original charge was made and accepted to long ago for the bank to have stopped payment.As someone who travels several times a year, me and my family will NEVER use priceline again, and are officially telling all of our friends and professional associates to totally boycott any and all "services" offered by this predatory company.

About a week ago I reserved a car rental for a trip to Salt Lake City. While making the arrangements, I confirmed that if the trip had to be changed or cancelled due to the recent "national shutdown and quarantine" there was no fee or charge to cancel as long as it was cancelled MORE THAN 24 hours before date of pickup. The date of pickup was to be Thursday, Aug 5 at noon. On MONDAY, Aug 3, we were informed that the flights had been cancelled due to the shutdown, so we immediately contacted Priceline.com to cancel. After explaining the situation, the priceline agent said cancellation was not a problem several times, but it wasn't until the very end he said he will have to charge me a $28.00 cancellation fee! I told him I was well ahead of the 24 hour window for cancellation, but he insisted that didn't matter, and if I didn't accept the cancellation fee, I would have to pay the ENTIRE rental regardless. I have contacted my bank to stop payment on the $28 fee, but am not sure if they will be able to protect me from the UNAUTHORIZED charges in time to stop them from posting to my account.

User's recommendation: DO NOT USE PRICELINE.

So, here we are in OCTOBER, and still, NOT A SINGLE CONTACT from Chipotles.....no email, no phone call, not even a response to my "Pissed Consumer" write up.........so much for any sort of customer satisfaction....and with more than a dozen members of our family who formerly were routine customer of Chipotles, along with countless friends, business associates, US Veterans, and several traveling associates joining with us to BOYCOTT CHIPOTLES>>>PERMANENTLY

Resolved: Express Shuttle Of Utah - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

After they realized that we had posted on Pissed Consumer, the notified me that they were / refunded the charges on my card. As for the unsafe driver, they seem to have totally ignored that complaint, in fact, have said absolutely NOTHING to us about it.

That being said, we did follow through with our complaint to the Utah authorities. Overall, we do NOT recommend this company under any circomstances...( I would rather take my chances hitch-hiking )

Our inititial contact with the company seemed fine, arrangements made to have a pick up for wife and myself at Salt Lake City airport, with a ride to Provo, Utah for a conference. Although the drive initially seemed fine, once we got on the road things quickly escalated to us being in fear for our lives. The drive, who only identified himself as "tony" turned into the most erratic and careless driver we have ever seen. Often at speeds exceeding 85mph, he continually swerved from lane to lane, nearly clipping other vehicles, and while using NO directional signals. We tried to nicely comment how heavy the traffic, and asked him if it was always this fast, but instead of him taking the hint, he went even faster. Even to the point that several times nearby cars were honking horns at him....and at one point I believe a nearby driver "flipped Tony the bird" as tony swooshed by. Luckily we arrived at our hotel safely, but scared to death. As per my original phone arrangement, we were to pay the Shuttle company in CASH, which was $51.00. When we exited the vehicle and recovered our luggage we hand Tony a $100 bill and a single....it seemed an awkward wait until my wife asked tony if we could get our change. So Tony turned away from us, as he pulled pair of $20.00s out of his pocket and handed them to my wife, then he just turned and started to walk away, Apparently he decided to take a $10.00 tip for himself....So my wife called him out and said we needed a receipt for the ride, so he reluctantly turned around, fumbled for a slip of paper to write a receipt on, and after a few moments finally handed us the remaining $10.00 change.... So, move ahead a couple days to our trip back to the airport....I called a couple of other shuttle places to book a separate return, and the only company available on our time was, unfortunately Express Shuttle Utah. So I call them and explained our previous problem with their driver "Tony"....and told them we would NOT get into a vehicle if he was the driver....initially I we told that dispatcher had no way of knowing who would be the driver, but after asking a couple times to speak with a manager, I was finally assured Tony would not be driving. Well, I made the return booking, (also a $51 cost) and went back to tell my wife.....ABSOLUTELY NOT was her reply....I will NEVER get into one of that company's vehicles......realizing she was more traumatized than I had realized, I immediately call back to Express and was told there was a problem, that when they tried to book our return trip, it came up that the initial trip (which we paid cash for) had NOT been paid for, and therefore when I booked the return trip, Express Shuttle immediately charged my credit card for TWO trips... I tried to explain that we had a written receipt for CASH from "Tony" and we had paid him in CASH....so after many minutes of argument Express I realized this was not going to end well.....I told them to CANCEL our return trip and we would make other arrangments to get back to Salt Lake City....Sorry sir, we cannot cancel your reservation.......WHAT?? I just made the reservation less than 15 minutes ago and you are telling me you CAN"T cancel it? Well, I told them DO NOT send a car for us as we would NOT be using their service, AND as soon as possible I would be filing safety,wreckless operation and THEFT charges against their driver "Tony" as well as the company itself. When we got our bank statement, we found we WERE charged for the trip we NEVER took, and there was NO evidence of the previous charge being credited back to us. Since then I have spoken with Utah State authorities who told me they have had other complaints against this company, and would open an investigation into all the complaints, and I was subsequently directed to contact additionally Utah State authorities to file complaints with them as well.

Barclays Bank - NO US BASED ASSISTANCE

Have been trying for almost two WEEKS to reach an AMERICAN based customer service person for Barclay's bank in Delaware. NOT a single one of their multiple customer service numbers routes my call to an US based office. And most often the off-shore people who pick up the phone don't seem to be able to communicate in plain, simple english. They also insist on getting my account passwords when I call.....something I was told is NOT supposed to be done...... Since we cannot "do business" in the United States where we live and do our business, it may be time for myself and my entire organization to drop any and all affiliation with Barclays, unless they can give us a US contact for US customer service and assistance

Well, we are rapidly approaching ANOTHER YEAR since GMC REFUSED to honor the SAFETY RECALL on their airbags. even with postings on Pissed Consumer, Gmc has not made any attempt to contact me whatsover.

Final result is that we will continue to publicly inform everyone we know about GMC total LACK of concern for public safety.

GMC is the WORST car maker to deal with, consistantly refusing to honor any and all NHTSA recalls, even now that EVERY appeal GMC has made have been DENIED...they even refused to just sell us the replacement parts to have our local shop install....... NEVER BUY GM OR GMC PRODUCTS....YOUR LIFE IS WORTH MORE THAN THEIR LOUSY VEHICLES........

UPS FRAUD IN ADVERTISING

UPS has been intentionally MISLEADING their customers with what UPS calls "3 Day Select" shipping, for which they charge a ridiculous premium. When actually, their "3 Day Select" service is SLOWER than normal delivery service! I placed a purchase order which was to be shipped on Friday, Aug 5, and PAID for "3Day Select" shipping, but now, on Tuesday Aug 9 (FIVE DAYS LATER) the package is still NOT here, and UPS tells me that "3 Day Select" ONLY COUNTS MONDAY THRU FRIDAY as "days" and neither weekends nor the actual day of shipment are NOT included in the three days! And the shipment is coming to a BUSINESS address, in fact, A UPS Store facility! ! Talk about INTENTIONALLY misleading and defrauding the customer, while charging ridiculous fees for service that realistically DOES NOT EXIST....

The UPS website has a shipping time and cost calculator on their website. If you had used it, you might have seen that another shipping level might have gotten there at the same time for less money.

At the very least, you would have seen that Friday-Tuesday is the correct time frame for 3 day select.

Instead, you caused yourself grief by not knowing what a "business day" is. No sympathy.
