It's called high pressure sales technique. Direct Energy uses it and it works more often than not. People are just too trusting or polite. Personally, I would have told the guy to get .....off of my property or else. These alternate energy companies get you to sign up with them promising a lower rate but it only lasts one year and then automatically goes up higher than your regular one was. Best to never contract with them in the first place.
My mother had a sure-fire cure for bad behavior in public places: a slap across the head. It worked. But, then there weren't know-it-all pseudo "experts" like you to "help" her discipline an unruly child.

Just make sure to use lube next time your boyfriend fists you in the azzz. That way you won't be soo sore on here.
If you are looking at a $1 charge on your credit card statement, it is likely a "pending" charge of one dollar many companies make in order to test that the card is good and will take a charge. This $1 charge always drops off when the actual charge amount posts. You can call your credit card customer service for info on this, etc. Calling Home Depot is not the place to get info on this procedure. This practice confuses people, but it is normal procedure. Take a breath and relax. But, do check it out with your card company or look at your statement when you get the paper one at the end of the billing period.
All---and I mean ALL---of these gutter systems are vastly over-priced and fail to live up to the hype the salesmen use to sell you on them. Regular, old fashioned and open gutters are solid and work well even tho you have to clean them occasionally. Your problem sounds like bad installation. I have never understood why anyone would think the Leafguard system would actually take the full flow of water coming from the roof and direct it into the narrow opening without much of the water flowing over and onto the ground instead of into the downspouts. Hopefully, your experience with Leafguard will serve as a warning to others. Good luck. Winter is almost upon us.
Contact your local township or county manager/supervisor. Usually the township level is best. He should be able to contact Charter and get them moving.
The solution is to not use Tide. Actually, you are overpaying if you buy Tide. Shop the sales and buy a brand you like then. Even on sale, Tide is more expensive and doesn't do any better at cleaning your clothes than the cheaper brands.
Not sure why you would listen to some clerk at Staples. Paying for anti-virus/malware/adware software is just plain unnecessary. You can get free ones online, eg., Avast, AVG and others. Not sure why you would need a disk when, if you register the free versions, you can always install or re-install just by signing in and downloading again---or, just download a new copy. All in all, stay away from paid programs, especially Kaspersky, tho all of them have little in the way of customer service no matter how much you paid.
Sears has money problems. Don't expect it to be around in a few years. Best always, with appliances to buy a cheaper model and when it breaks down, just replace it. Why do you need all the bells and whistles? Now you know.
Element tellys are cheaply made and tend to break down sooner, rather than later. They are cheap to buy, but really junk from what I hear. Best always to buy a name brand like Sony, RCA, etc---not an Element or Vizio!
More and more negative reviews of all Lenovo models on review sites. Best bet if the machines is more than two years old is to buy a new one, but definitely not a Lenovo. I like Hp over Dell, mainly because of the proprietary stuff Dell likes to put in and then you are forced to buy theirs.
Also, contact your local state rep and complain about that local office and staff. He will forward it as a legislative complaint to the head office, etc.
You would be better off just buying a Black & Decker with the 20v batteries. I have two string trimmers and two blowers and they work well and the batteries last a long time. Just make sure you get a couple extra batteries, depending on how much you plan to use the machine(s) that day, etc. Amazon sells these things and I have seen some in stores lately on clearance as they usually clear them out in order to put up their Christmas stuff and they just want to get rid of the lawn & garden tools, etc. Your complaint about the batteries with the Worx brand is common.
A cheaper method to obtain the results you seek would be to use a large rubber band with two medium-sized bricks and attach to the appropriate part of your body you wish to be extended. You can hide the bricks, one inside each pant leg if you are going to a formal dinner party, etc. Most dress pants are wide enough to accommodate medium-sized bricks. Paving bricks are the best.
I suspect, after reading that you actually allowed someone to just take money from your bank account that you voted for Mr. Trudeau. Far too trusting. Good luck with this.
Go to the Florida website and find the agency that regulates gasoline stations. Call them and tell them what happened. Make sure you call the FLORIDA agency, not one in Mehico.
You are obviously sensitive to something in the toothpaste formula. Perhaps the potasium nitrate common in these sensitive concoctions. Or, it could be one of the inactive ingredients. In any event, just don't use a toothpaste that bothers you. If it was so bad for most people, they wouldn't sell much of it, would they? It's you. Now you know. Simple solution.
You neglect to say what the product was. Your beef should be with the product's manufacturer, not Gander Mountain---after all, they did replace it once. They cannot continue to do that, you know. You should have checked the warranty terms and contacted the manufacturer after the second one failed.
Dollar Tree used to be pretty good about things like this. However, it all depends on the manager. Sounds like you need to contact corporate and complain about this store and the manager. Don't play the race card when you do, however---that would get you nowhere, fast. I used to have the email of one of the executives there, but have since lost it. I went to the corporate site and, after some searches----it appears they really make it difficult to find the right place---I found the place to contact them via email. Go to this site and send them your complaint, as they need to know they have a less then considerate manager at that store: https://www.dollartree.com/custserv/contactus.jsp Good luck.
Life is tough when you are functionally illiterate with no ability to open up a checking account at a bank but have to cash a payroll check at WalMart.
Now you know why allowing someone to take money from your account each month because it is inconvenient for you to write a cheque is a *** thing to do. Good luck. Always have companies send you a monthly statement and then, after verifying it, pay with a cheque. This is how we learn.
If it's out of warranty, then you are responsible for any repairs. It is what it is. Why don't you complain to your new PM Trudeau? I am sure he will help you.
I assume you are talking about AAA. I had a problem with one of their agents a few years ago. Do as I did---call the branch or main office the agent works out of and just ask to speak to the manager. Complain to her and request they assign a different agent. I did this, they re-assigned me to another agent and all is now fine. Don't continue to waste your time trying to contact someone who doesn't want to be bothered.
I assume this company is selling auto extended warranties. In any event, they are all scams. Who would purchase an auto warranty from an unknown company who calls you on the phone or sends a letter to you in the mail? Your state, and most others sell auto registration info and thus, your name, reg. number, etc. all end up with people trying to sell you something.
I suspect the cashier took one look at your obvious bulk, then at the TV dinners and tried to give you a helpful hint regarding proper eating. This happens on occasion and was meant to be helpful. That chip on your shoulder is getting bigger and bigger.

I agree, especially when they expect an apology from someone who did not do anything wrong.
I haven't used IE for a few years but as I recall the only thing the Bing bar does is load your computer up with junk, cookies, adware, spyware, etc. in addition to tracking everything you do. I strongly recommend Firefox with addons like Blur, Disconnect me, etc. I never get ads and limited trackers---which I get rid of by using Superantispyware each day or so.
You can probably find and purchase these online. Check Amazon.com and ebay first. Then do a search using your usual search engine and then do searches using other ones, eg., Yahoo, Ixquick, etc. Good luck. Someone, somewhere has these for sale. Keep checking periodically.
Yes, small claims court is the place to go. good luck. However, make this a learning lesson for the boy: if you simply must pay to have someone change your oil, then make sure, before you drive away to open the hood and check to see if the oil cap is on and correctly. Then check that the dipstick is fully seated. Then scoot under the car and look for any oil dripping from the pan plug and, if you can reach it, make sure the oil filter is on tight. These are things Pancho often forgets to do and apparently one of which he failed to do on your auto. But, sue for damages to be sure.
You need never pay for anti virus/malware/spyware software. Avast, AVG, and even BitDefender(I believe)have free versions. You do not, in most cases need the paid versions. Anything they do you can do with other, free software. That being said, most software companies have terrible customer service/support. You are basically on your own. Why pay for bad service to begin with?
You might want to start listening to Michael Savage on WJR in the afternoon at 3 o'clock. Paying 10 grand a year for health insurance is nuts and a scam.
You are dealing with a large company with employees who have problems tying their shoes in the morning, much less actually knowing anything except how to text messages on a cell phone. I have always had good luck using contact cement for mirrors, as long as you do it carefully and slowly. The new polyurethane cements work well also, but contact cement will instantly bond, tho once again, do it carefully, as once the two surfaces come into contact, they will instantly bond together. Or, you could hold a picture of a politician up to the mirror and once it breaks, just buy a new one.
First of all, never rely on Consumer Reports. I, too found this out years ago and subsequently cancelled my sub and never returned. As for Sears, they have serious financial problems and their customer service is now rather pathetic. If your dishwasher has water leakage, it is probably a loose connection where the water line connects to the machine. Just get under there and see if you can tighten it. Or, at least try to see where, exactly the water is leaking from. If not the water connection, then you will know for sure it is with the machine itself. Whenever you fall for "the best" in appliances, you pay far too much for far too little. A cheap, basic appliance with no bells and whistles will work just fine, cost you less and when it breaks you just buy a new one and have them take the old one away to that great trash field in the sky or wherever they take these things. Lowe's will deliver and set up for free most appliances. Avoid Sears.
I'd had such poor service from the prior dishwasher that never cleaned well from day one, I was desperate to have a reliable machine so we sought help from CR but clearly customer service can make or break a consumer's experience. Neither my husband nor I are physically able to just get up under there to determine the source of the problem. I too suspect it is a loose connection or ruptured line. The machine itself functions well and in fact I am very pleased with it, hence my suspicion it is an installation issue. But to your point, Lowes is definately on our list of retailers for future purchases. Thanks for the comment.
ALL glasses and frames are cheaply made but command a large price when you buy them. Unless you get your reading glasses from a dollar store---which, by the way is a good place to go if all you need glasses for is to read but can see far away. Glasses are alot like furniture or mattresses----the profit margin is tremendous.
Your mistake was going to a place like Aspen Dental. These assembly line places are problematical in the good dental care area. Best always to find a good, local dentist and go to him. Now you know. I have never had a tooth pulled without novocaine, but used to have any teeth filled without it. Sounds like the dentist was in a hurry to get to the next patient, or go home. Who knows?
Not sure why Stainmaster would cover something like this. I would suspect the carpet needs to be stretched. You know, with one of those knee stretchers you probably saw the guy use when they installed it. This is a common problem that comes as a carpet is used and gets older. I used to have one of them and would need to use it myself on occasion over the years. Carpet is what it is and does what it does.
First, I suspect you are either an employee of AVG or a paid reviewer. Second, you imply that all you really did was call them and they told you to use their online "help" wizard instead of actually talking to you and personally helping you with your problem. In other words, you are being coy and untruthful. I remember Bangkok from some 40 years ago. Nice, but that was then.
Good that you had sense enough to actually read and question things at a closing. Most people just sign whatever is put in front of them. A similar thing happened to me a few years ago concerning the pro rata property taxes. They had it wrong. I refused to sign and quashed the closing. Congratulations.
Perhaps you weren't wearing a burka when Mohammed saw you. Next time, find an old tent in someone's storeroom, put it on and then Mohammed will deign to talk to you.
