Walmart's policy is to not allow soliciting inside their stores. Period. Even the *** ringing a bell during the Christmas season has to stand outside. It is a rather good policy. FYI: you should be aware that there is alot of "hanky-panky" that goes on with the Toys for Tots program from what I saw a few years ago. My eyes were opened to what really goes on with your donations.
Seems like your son's first mistake was in using a debit card instead of a credit card. As he found out, debit cards are a most dangerous way of paying for something. He, in effect gave them permission to just take whatever money they wanted from his bank account. However, this is how we learn. Years from now he will laugh at what happened and how he could be so dumb. It happens with kids.

Well, it could have been worse. My son and his friends could have been killed in the *** sports car that Thrifty irresponsibly gave them. Insurers don't like young men in sports cars for good reasons.
Anytime you order something direct from someone in China you take the chance that you will be scammed. That's just the way it is. Use this as one of life's lessons. Now you know. Get on with life.

Yes , you are right and I was aware of that but I expect ebay and paypal not to allow a flat out crime to occur using there system and then put all the blame and responsibility on the victim...And I didn't know it was coming out of china in the listing it was in California. .One of there many origins of shipping and they are allowed to do it.Im not PO just trying to be informative about sellers on ebay and how I feel like ebay and paypal protects this type of business practice.
Don't pay it. Take any credit hit. Send them a certified letter outlining why you did what you did, ie., cancel their service. Why would anyone pay for something they cannot access?
If you bought a telly of that size for that price, I suspect it was either a Vizio or the even cheaper Element or the other brand I can't think of at the moment. In any event, all are junk, just a matter of degree. Unreliable and you will no doubt rue the day you paid money for these things. A good, brand name telly will cost more, but it will also last. These other ones will not. Good luck, tho.
I would dispute the charge for non delivery of goods. At the very least, it will cost Artistic the dispute fee they card company charges them when someone files a dispute. It used to be something like $25 a pop.
At least they didn't pull this stunt in the same manner as ***'s Sporting Goods did awhile back---they cancelled AR-15 orders in reaction to some doped-up kid shooting up a school, I believe. They felt good about doing that, I guess. That's my reason for dropping ***'s as a place to shop. In your case, someone made a mistake but I, too would have thought they would take responsibility for their mistake. Guess not. Seems you can't trust Cabela's any more than any other business. Try Gander Mountain.
Vizio is sold by many stores, including WalMart and Meijer. It is cheaper than major brands not only in price, but in quality. It's reliability is very low---as you found out. Also, Vizio has now been shown to install tracking software in their sets that track what you watch so they can sell this info to advertizers who can direct ads to you based on your viewing tastes. Look it up. Always buy a major brand, eg.,Sony, RCA, etc. Now you know.
Brinkmann has been a relatively good brand for years and I have been well-served by their grills. However, they are not top of the line. I hope you are covering the grill to keep it as much as possible out of the weather and also cleaning it regularly. Not doing either can seriously affect the life of the grill. They are made of cheap, thin metal anyway now and you need to do all you can to protect them. All that being said, grills are really short-lived due to their cheap construction---unless you buy a more expensive one---and have become "throwaways" that when rusted, broke, etc. are just thrown away and another one purchased.
She probably is just threatening you in the hope you will be scared and just pay her the money. Ignore subsequent demands for payment and get on with your life.
Hard lesson to learn but now you know why booking anything with places like Orbitz, Expedia, etc. is problematical when/if problems arise. Best to book direct with the hotel, airline, etc.
You apparently bought a package of the no meat bacon I have seen in stores lately. Not sure who they appeal to other than vegetarians or, perhaps those misguided people who are concerned with fat, nitrates, etc. Take a closer look at the package and see if it says anything about "no meat" or such, somewhere. However, if you see no pork listed, then it is definitely not real bacon and neither is it beef bacon which I have also seen, in addition to turkey bacon----all of which really shouldn't be called bacon. Guess you gotta be extra careful nowadays what with the food crazies driving the product lines.
Take a look at the contract you agreed to. You usually have a window in which to cancel the service without penalty. Even with a penalty you can cancel and let them whistle for the "fees" to do so. Satellite reception can be problematical in many cases. You might check into Charter Communications and see if they offer service in your area. Cable is much more reliable. Good luck.
First of all, your cap lock is stuck in the "on" position. Best correct this as it indicates a child typing and not an adult. Secondly, the active ingredient in all of the "sensitive" toothpastes is potassium nitrate, usually 5%. You are much better off buying the house brand of a product labeled sensitive and with the taste/flavor you like. Buying the brand name products like Sensodyne, Crest, etc. is a waste of money. In the situation you refer to, they obviously had a problem at the plant with quality control. Contact them via email and they will problably send you a coupon. And, take care of that cap lock problem!
I can see what the problem is just from your photo---they are much too tight and your bulging legs are stretching the fabric to the point of fraying the seams. Time to lose weight or choose a bigger size.

Actually the pants are loose. I'm sitting to show the fray. You must be a lonely loser to have to make rude comments to a stranger. Sorry for you. May God bring you peace and happiness.
After buying my first five computers from BB, I stopped due to the exact same situation as you described---plus, the noise in the store from the piped-in "music" became so loud and irritating that shopping became impossible. I now only buy them online, usually at HP or even Amazon, tho Amazon is becoming rather suspect in the product ratings.
Did you dispute the charge? As proof of your contention give your card company a copy of the screen shot, etc. However, you have a valid point in saying Amazon is on a "downward slide" as I have noticed how they skew the ratings of products to highlight the positive, 5 star ratings and not the low, 1 star ones. Basically, don't trust the ratings on Amazon!
Not sure how you could lose your money---unless you were foolish enough to use a debit card. With a credit card, all you do is dispute the charge, etc. Now you know. This is how we learn.
You did the right thing. These companies are usually scams and use high pressure sales tactics to browbeat you into signing up with them, which you will regret in a year when your rates skyrocket.
What is your complaint? He refunded your money and pulled the product from the shelves. You seem to be much too "sensitive" and/or "offended" to lead a normal life. Time to get a job, I suspect. That should help you with your paranoia.
Don't blame Hulu. It's either your computer or the internet service you use. Not sure why you would want to pay to watch commercials on Hulu or any other service. Why not just stream directly via your internet connection to your computer all the shows you would ever want? Do some research into streaming.
It's always a good idea to turn off the water when going away for more than a day or so. I, too learned the hard way---my water heater developed a leak. Now you know.
The answer you got was just an excuse for them not clearing the sidewalks properly. There would be a liability possible if they didn't, rather than did clear it and put salt on it. Doing so shows intent to ensure customer safety. Not doing so indicates negligence. Just bad management at that store. Go to the Walgreen corporate site and complain about this location.
I wouldn't get all bent out of shape at finding something foreign in a food product. The FDA allows a certain amount of bugs, etc. in processed foods because it is inevitable. However, as long as you found it, that's good. Didn't they at least give you a coupon for another box? As an aside, if it was bacon, that would be a bonus as every civilized person loves bacon, don't they?
Bing is really not a very good search engine, yes. If you do have to use it, make sure you are using Firefox with Adblock, Blur, UBlock, etc. as they will track you with vigor. The best search engines are those that don't allow the nonsense Bing does, like Ixquick or DuckDuckgo.
Surprised to hear this about Rheem. I had my 16 year old A.O. Smith water heater replaced last year with a Rheem because the plumber I have always used said Smith had become unreliable when it came to warranty work. He now uses Rheem and has had good luck with warranty repairs with them. Haven't had any problems with the unit, tho. I suspect you were just unlucky and got a lemon. Have you noticed that everybody and every company now does everything half-%#@?
This is what happens in those states that require you to have your autos inspected yearly. Scams abound. I am surprised Utah fell for this nonsense. Now you know to shop around when getting these *** inspections done. I love Utah, but apparently even there the loonies are in charge.
You are supposed to read the terms and conditions of the "contract" you signed when initiating the service. I am sure somewhere it says something about any change or upgrade causing you to agree to a new contract period. A scam, of course. Personally, I wouldn't pay it. Just cancel and let it go to collections. And, then ignore them. Any "hit" on your credit will be insignificant. They count on people paying up. This bad behavior will never change unless people stop surrendering to these threats.
Doesn't the VA figure co-pays for scripts based on your income? If you make too much money, then you have to pay more than someone who makes less. That's because the "rich" need to be punished. We get what we vote for.
No reason for anyone to use Hulu nowadays. Why would anyone actually PAY to watch ads? If you are watching programs on your computer then why not just stream the programs directly to your machine, ad-free using one of many sites out there. You can watch just about any program, current and old or even download them to a flash drive and watch on your big television, etc. Do some research on how to stream and go from there.
Coward. Yes, you. A WalMart employee steals money from your wallet and you say and do nothing. Complaining here does nothing. If you cannot defend yourself and/or your property, then what good does it do to post on this site?
But later on she found the money that was supposedly stolen. However I think this is a troll complaint. Do you know Kevin Richards, Fisted face ect. They are trying to impersonate someone else. They are close to using the same username but not quite. They are trying to make this user(whom they have been harassing for over a month) look like they are racist. If this is not the case, well assuming someone is a thief because they are black or work in retail is wrong. She won't get sued I don't think because she did not include the employee's name but saying she stole the money without proof is wrong, and to that person that posted last night this does not mean I support thieves. I bet if someone falsely accused you of theft you would not be happy yourself.
If you work there and don't like what they do, then simply leave and get another job. This is not rocket science. Walmart sets the hours and rules for their business. Not you. Rather simple, isn't it?

Sorry, I didnt know you were GOD and know it all. SOME PEOPLE cannot find other jobs and WalMart or retail is their only chance.,.. You just dont quit and find a job these days in a week... there are millions still UNDER-EMPLOYED in this country because all the quality jobs are outsourced or limited. The economy is NOT great everywhere and there are college educated people working at WalMart because they cannot get jobs in their profession... NOT ALL PEOPLE HAVE THE PERFECT LIFE THAT YOU DO
What's the point? To show you actually know some history, unlike most people today? People make up "facts" all the time in order to make their hero look good---usually liberals do this.
