You might consider upgrading, for free to the new Windows 10. Or, better yet, figure out how to get Windows 7 instead as the new Win 10 seems to be unreliable and filled with intrusive components that spy on you and send data back to Microsoft. In any event, good luck.
The best and most comfortable pillows are made of duck or geese feathers. Artificial ones are cheaper but also can create problems like you describe. The "my pillow" you see advertised is over-priced and nothing special. Go to any store like WalMart and get a 100% feather pillow. A lesson learned.
This is WalMart. It's that simple. I do question your ability to control the surrender impulse of your wife, however. The correct thing to do was as you wanted---leave it on the checkout belt and walk away. It's the principle. And, of course never shop at WalMart again.

If you are old enough to be married you are old enough to know the difference between being told something you did not want to hear, and rudeness.
The obvious solution now is to just dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. My question tho, is why you are paying for Avast when they offer a free version? I have used their free version for years with no problems and it works just fine. By the way, I hope you are using something other than Internet Explorer, preferably Firefox for even more security while online.

Well, It's fairly obvious that I pay for more features, besides paying is not the issue. The misleading, deception is the issue. And, the conveying of my CC# to a company I did not authorize for use. It verges on CC theft. In addition, the subscription they charged for was disabled for auto pay. In their own words "Since your Avast Subscription Auto-Renewal service has been disabled, for security purposes this service cannot be re-enabled" yet they did, with a credit card # they obtained from another vendor and gave it to a different vendor. That's like you giving your friend, that you trusted, your credit card to buy something for you and they give to another friend you don't trust and they buy the same thing for more money! And finally, maybe your issue with IE has to do with using the free version of Avast.
Can't you see how much water is in the reservoir? I have three Keurigs and all have a clear plastic reservoir that I look at before I try to brew a cup.
You failed to carefully read the terms and conditions. It's the old "auto fill" scam common to alot of these sites. Now you know. I hope you didn't give them your bank account info or use a debit card. If, as a wise internet shopper you used a credit card, at least dispute the charge. If nothing else, they will be charged a dispute fee of (usually) $25 because a customer disputed a charge. Good luck.
Are you serious? A set made in 2008 goes bad and you want compensation? Buy a new telly---but not a Mitsubishi. Remember, they made airplanes during WWII that killed alot of our guys in the Pacific.

There were class action lawsuits Mitsubishi settled for this exact problem and from 2008-****. Seems only fair they would fix OPs set since it was a faulty part, no matter the age.
Call the Meijer customer service number listed on their website or call the manager of this location directly. His name is Scott. Tell him what happened. By the way, who was the employee? Did you catch a name? I assume the customer was chatting with the employee and they casually mentioned their lack of money and the customer felt sorry for them, etc. Actually, I might have done the same thing, depending on the employee---I go to this gas station regularly.
Really, now. Blaming Lowe's for a defective product? The one to blame is GE. You have a year's warranty. Have them fix it. I hope you bought a cheap model with no bells and whistles. When it breaks after the warranty period, throw it out and buy a new cheap one. It simply doesn't pay to spend alot of money on appliances. They are all built cheaply and are unreliable, no matter what brand.
I did a quick search and found the Mcdonalds.com site. I think you are correct. They don't seem to have any way to send corporate an email, tho you can complain about a particular restaurant. Perhaps they really don't care what anyone thinks of them. They probably should, given that their US revenue is on a vertiginous descent into the toilet. The best way to show your dissatisfaction with them is to not go there. There are much better options for fast food now anyway. The old McDonalds we grew up with is long gone---far too many menu items and personnel who are rude, inept and have a difficult time speaking or understanding the English language.
The main thing for you to do is never, ever order anything from Walmart. Their customer service reputation is next to nil and it is wise to avoid them, both online and in-store. Now you know. You are not alone.
This is another problem with the government-mandated TPMS nonsense---inept and inexperienced personnel who mount and/or repair tires. Replacing a tire is not brain surgery and is not complicated, but the pressure measurement system must be done correctly or it will either not work or be inaccurate. All manufacturers have slightly different systems and different ways to ensure accuracy and functionality when replacing tires. If done incorrectly, problems with the system result. I always now recommend you buy replacement tires from a dealership for the make of car. Going to a place like Sears or, even worse to WalMart is gambling they are competent enough to do the job on your car correctly. By the way, most dealerships now sell tires at a price comparable with the discounters like Sears. In your case, buy a good digital tire pressure gauge---tho not the Slime brand which is inaccurate and prone to early death.
You made a couple of mistakes: 1. You paid Avast for a subscription instead of just downloading their free version. There is no need to pay for anti virus software if you are using a pc, tablet, laptop, etc. Period. AVG, AVAST and others offer a free version that, while not endowed with all the bells and whistles of the paid one, do a good job at stopping the bad stuff. 2. You failed to read the terms regarding auto renewal when you signed up. People do this all the time and companies, including magazine subscriptions, etc rely on people not reading what they are getting into. Yours is a common complaint. Take it as a lesson learned. Now you know about auto renewals, tricky companies like Avast, and that you have to cancel your card and get a new account in order to stop your bank from enabling the scam by honoring auto renewals.
Drop cable TV, keep your internet service and start streaming any and all TV shows and movies you want direct to the telly. Why pay good money every month for cable TV? Do some research into streaming. It is easy and you can save alot of money each month by not paying for cable TV.
AAA must be having some financial problems. They recently "upgraded" all regular memberships to "premier" status. Sounded great, but the catch is that when your regular membership period ends, they automatically keep you on the premier status with the new, more expensive premier fee. My local AAA agent danced around the reasons for this trick but the bottom line is that if you pay your insurance and membership premiums via auto deduction you will suddenly and without warning be socked with higher membership fees unless you cancel the standard membership prior to the renewal date. All very tricky and underhanded. Either there is new management at AAA or they have joined others in scamming unwitting customers.
Charter has some serious problems, eg., new email service in addition to some apparent financial problems. Their cable internet is good in most locations, but there really is no need to pay for their TV and/or phone service. You can stream any TV or movie you want directly to your telly via Roku, Netflix, etc. and having their VOIP phone service will come back to *** you when the internet goes down. Keep your cell phone instead.
Yes, don't blame Caremark, blame your insurance provider. They have an appeals process. Read your brochure, contract, etc. and find out the appeal procedures. Also, get your employer involved---they are paying the insurance company to insure you. Good luck.
Personally, I would hire an attorney and sue both Menard's and the delivery firm. Negotiating this on your own is a mistake. You don't think the Menard's manager is acting on his own or can make a decision like this? Best get legal advice, if nothing else. Most lawyers will give a free consultation. Do so before you go any further.
The key thing to remember when either selling or buying real estate is to only deal with a full time realtor whose only income is based on being a realtor---not a part time ex-housewife who has no real stake in the results of her hobby. When selecting a good realtor ask friends, collegues, etc. and then ask the guy if he does this full time.
You can thank your wonderful representatives in Congress who voted for ObamaCare. As for stopping the calls, the one sure way is to change your phone number. Or, get an answering machine and let the phone ring and have the machine pick up all calls. How many really important calls do you get in a day anyway? Good luck. We are doomed.
The networks have a hard time trying to interview supporters of Sanders and Clinton because they tend to make funny faces; slur their words; and present an overall picture of imbecility. They need to draw viewers to their shows, not scare them away. Simple.
Your mistake was in talking to a female trying to sell automobiles in a dealership. Always talk to a man---they are much more knowledgeable about cars and much more reliable when it comes to following up on a potential sale. They take their job seriously.
Join the club. We have a GE with the same problem. Have done some research online and even called GE. No way to increase the volume, apparently. This must be the way they design these things. Rather dumb, but then.....
It has nothing to do with your being a female. These places pay the employee and need to sell parts and labor in order to stay in business. Take this as a good lesson---read the manual and repair it yourself if possible, not go to an auto repair facility first off the bat.
Your auto insurance should cover this, or your home owner's insurance. Tho, you might have to pay a deductible. This is the responsibility of the company that caused the damage. Sue for your monetary loss in small claims court and ask for any court fees to be paid by them also, eg., filing fee, etc. They are hoping you will just go away.
This is becoming common at the Chase banks in my area. I assume they are attempting to keep labor costs down by not bringing in as many people as they really need. Usually, you can blame the branch manager for the lack of adequate tellers, but if Chase controls this aspect for all branches, even the manager has no control. This corporate control is now common with the result that the local manager has little authority and/or control of staffing. I like Chase but now find myself banking at my credit union much more as a result of what you describe.
Usually, when you buy a laptop from a store, the manufacturer is responsible and is the place you should contact for warranty work---not the seller. Why not contact the manufacturer yourself. Read your warranty first, as different manufacturers have different time-frames for warranty work.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but given all the problems you had with this company, just think of what they covered up. As time goes on, you will no doubt encounter them. All nice on the outside, but underneath a lovely exterior, what lurks there?

If it is an unauthorized charge, just dispute it with your card company. This is why using a credit card is always better than a debit card---you are not out the money immediately. One thing you should consider is that your card has been compromised. Might be a good idea to tell the card company this charge is fraudulent and they can close the account and issue a new card and number, etc. Better safe than sorry. I understand you now have two Meijer stores. Wow! When I worked there a long time ago there was only one. What was once a nice, quiet town.....

Yes, I'm gonna get ahold of my bank tomorrow or Fri. at the latest. I just used this site to air out the dirty laundry and blow off some steam, That's my right as an American. Yep, yer right we now have 2 Meijers. The new superstore is in Acme out M-72 towards Kalkaska just before you get to Turtle Creek Casino. I really don't believe we needed 2 Meijers, but this area is being built up so quickly that it doesn't even look like the TC that I remember when I first saw it in 1971. It's gonna look like G.R. or Ann Arbor before too long.
Why are you paying money for anti virus software?? The AVG and/or AVAST free anti virus programs do a very good job for most people. Check one of them out. By the way, for those of you who uninstall any anti virus software, make sure you also do a "clean uninstall" in addition to a regular remove/uninstall via the control panel. These programs leave alot of junk on your machine even after a regular uninstall. Do a web search for "clean uninstall" with the name of the software in the search, eg., Avast clean uninstall, etc. Just so you know.
