Cox Communications - Representatives lie to you to get you off their line

My whole DVR recordings just deleted on Sunday, coincidentally after I posted here on Facebook. I spent an hour on the phone on Sunday trying to get my DVR recordings back. Jason told me you could and would call me by yesterday. When I called today, another customer service person said that Jason lied to me to get me off the phone and that you can not restore them (or watch them on Demand since they are gone). I believe someone from COX deliberately tampered with me box in retaliation and that everyone that I have spoke to in the last 2 days and at the Cox store in Parma lied to me,. You can't rely on anything said because the next person will just tell you something to get you off their line.

Shutterfly - Over a month and still haven't received photo bags

I ordered 2 photo bags for my daughters on 10/3. It shipped, but the shipper just said " shipping label created" and it never actually shipped. I called and they apologized and re-sent the order with a exhibited delivery (this was on 10/21 with delivery to be on 11/1). On 11/1 , same thing, no shipment, just said shipping label created. I called AGAIN , got the shipping charges waived and they resent. You guessed it, same thing happened today. So when I called today, come to find out they don't even HAVE these bags and they never did! They just say they do and send the label info. They have no idea when they will be in. Is this even legal? Right before the holiday season, not a good look.

Bare Minerals Customer Care Review from Columbia, South Carolina

I visited the outlet store in Myrtle Beach SC today, and Ihave never been treated so rudely. I had to wait for the one salesperson to check out even though there was 20 people in tehe store, the manager was hiding out in the back. When the salesperson ignored my request to check out and instead checked out another client , she told me I should talk to the maager. By then she was out helpng someone, but not heling check out. She rudely said, what do you want me to do about it? I asked for her name and she told me, I don`t have to tell you that. Even other people in the store could not beleive how rude she was. I routtinely buy your make-up but I will not support such bad customer serice again.

American Eagle Outfitters - Never received an item in an order, was told I would have to pay to get it before CHristmas

I placed an order last week, which I received yesterday at 3:00pm. One time was not included (but was on the packing slip). When I called customer service I was told I would have to pay $5 to overnight the item (even though it was their fault it was not included) . If I had called before 1:00pm they could have sent it out for free (umm I didn't even get it until 3:00pm!) Very rude and when I waited for 20 minutes for a supervisor I was told everyone is very busy and it would take 24 hours to get back to me (still waiting). Oh and they would have to charge me for the new item to ship as well and THEN they can issue a refund (which can take 1 -2 BILLING periods). Way to take the blame and fix your mistakes! Never shopping here again.

New York And Company - Horrible Online Ordering

Can anyone explain your online inventory system? I placed an order on FRIDAY but was emailed today to tell me part of it was cancelled? And then when I called today and tried to cancel the entire order, your customer service person told me it is your policy that I can not cancel after I place the order? So YOU can cancel but I can not? And she told me the pants I wanted may still be available on the website, but I would have to place ANOTHER order and see if they have them in stock (but I would only know AFTER I placed the order). What kind of *** system is that? The customer is never valued at New York & Company

Resolved: Conrads Tire Express And Total Car Care - Can't even fix a tire!

The manager called us the next day apologizing. He took our car and went to the dealer and had the glitch fixed and returned it back to us. Nice to see such great customer service, I really do appreciate it!

Went to get my tire fixed, after 3 attempts to fix it, having to go back and waiting several hours , they told me to go to the dealer to get it fixed (but still charged me $85). I had a bad experience there before but I was desperate to get my tire fixed.I have never been somewhere that they tell you you have to go somewhere else to get something fixed but STILL charge you for the work they didn't do. They are rude and condensing, save your money and go somewhere else! I will never go back.

Harry And David - Spoiled jam

I purchased a jam set from the Harry and Davis store in PA. When I opened one, the jam was over filled and the seal on the jar was broken. Since it was an 1 1/2 hour drive to return I emailed the company. I told them I did not feel comfortable eating the jam and they promised to send a gift card (the purchase price was $17). I emailed them again 2 weeks later, and they said they were going to mail a check instead. I emailed them again 2 weeks later and was told give it another week. Well I received a $5 check in the mail. When I emailed them that it did not cover the cost, they told me they would send my complaint to another department, and they never contacted me. Obviously, they don't care about their customers or the quality of their product.

I have spent way too much time on this, and if you were really going to fix it and not just post so that you have a response and people think you are a company that actually cares (which you do not) you would have done so already I have LOTS of emails back and forth.
