RACIST STAPLES IN OCALA, FL 34474

My family and I went to staples for the first time to buy school supplies, that we couldn't find anywhere else because of course it was sold out. School starts tomorrow.

So we lucked up found all the supplies that was left on our list. I will make a long story short. There was 1 teller 1 other worker and 3 sets of customers. I was the 2nd customer in line and i didn't get waited on.

So you do the math... Im not pissed off because of the ignorance they showed me because i simply blew it off and gave my business to Walgreen's which came out much cheaper. Im upset about the racism they showed in front of my 9 and 11 yr old.

I want to add the email i sent to staples, but pissedconsumer site wont allow to many words. If anyone has the corporate information on this company please let me know.

look up corporate office of staples in your search engine. I KNOW you can do it!

Also, when you write, make sure you give corp the store # if you can..

sometimes, that helps them to locate faster.

Sorry-- I do not speak APE!! This is a prime example of why racism even exists, I agree with Tasha, you should have spoken up and if still not satisfied with your service, went and found/requested a manager.

Please don't categorize "Black people" when you speak about what should be done. Be specific and say what you need to say to the person you are responding to.

Just like not all white people are ignorant, matter of opinion, neither do all Black people cry racist....but/and it is very much still prevalent in today's society!

The racism in this country started with the European "White" culture from which I am from. I am not proud of that part of my family history, but I accept it as "history" because I was never raised to accept it as "OK".

Unfortunately, even though my ethnic group will be considered the minority at some point in the next 20 years. I am proud of who I am and am concerned I will not be allowed to ever voice a public opinion about that without being considered a racist. People like you are the reason racism is getting worse.

Maybe they were racist, but perhaps they just did not like you because of something else. I hate it when a black person is hated they automatically think it is because of their skin.

watch it "not racism" you don't agree with this person so they will accuse you of being nine years old and racist. i think tasha understands more than you do so if her grade level is nine years of age what is yours four. your son is 11 starting junior high probably, trust me i was in sixth grade last year and if he cried racist like you do he won't have many friends and will get beat up a lot.

There was no case of racism here only someone who does not have the balls to stand up for themselves. Why do people assume that racism is the factor when things go wrong.

However it is clear that Tasha herself is racist. How hard is to say excuse me but I was next.

I agree Tasha's comments are uncalled for. However whether this is the case of racism or not I don't know, but I doubt it.

Ace Cash Express - Email I Sent To Them

I went to the Ace Cash Express here in Houston, Tx on 11103 Briarforest today. My teller's name is Tasha Watson. I was there to cash a usps money order. I gave Tasha the money order with my I.D. and my Ace Card. She said she had to verify it. I said okay. So she made a few phone calls, which I was surprised about, because I went to cash a usps money order that came from the same person before at ACE but I didn’t like the 5% that was being taken out so I took it to the post office. The reason I didn’t go this time is because it was closed. So I waited and waited. Then the line became long with 5 people behind me. So she said let me take the next person. So I moved over. So I'm waiting for 20 minutes, then 5 more people came in. She helped them. So I'm still waiting. And when the last person was finished. She comes over to me and says she is keeping the money order and my I.D. because the money order is fake. And I asked her how did she know, no one called her back. And did I have to call the police to get my I.D. back. She replied do what you got to do. So I went and told my mother who was waiting in the car for me. And she went in and told Tasha to call her manager or call someone to come up there. So Tasha went to explain that the money order is fake. I then said, if you believe the money order is fake why cant you give it back to me and my I.D. and just say you refuse to cash it. I don’t have anything that you gave me. She rolled her eyes. I then called my attorney and asked him what I should do. And he said call the police. So I did and they asked for a description of Tasha. So we waited. So more minutes went by and my mom asked Tasha did she call her manager yet and when is he or she coming up here. So while Tasha is talking to her manager she asks me what is the money order is for. Why does she need to know what the money order is for? I said to her could she just refuse the service and give me my items back. I had already told her earlier that it was a house payment. Tasha rolls her eyes again. And goes into the corner asking her manager should she give it back to me and while my mom is getting more upset at her, saying to Tasha why are you treating us like criminals, Tasha tells her manager do you here how she is acting. So she hangs up the phone and made a copy of my I.D. and money order. Then she goes back to the line and acts like we are not there and continues with business. The cops still had not made it there. A customer said that it was an accident a block away and that it was a lot of cops there. Maybe the one we are waiting on. So we call the cops again. After we get off the phone. Tasha gives my mom my I.D.. Then 20 minutes after that she gives me the money order. But she would not give me my ace card nor the copy she made of my I.D. & money order. That was left in plain sight for people to see. I am very angry about her actions. She treated me and my mother like a criminal. I have been doing business with ACE for over a decade. So has my mom and my brother. I would like a apology and I would like the young lady fired. She embarrassed me in front of a lot of people. Her actions was uncalled for.

I've always done biz there but what the *** do I do when I can't get up there and have to call?? :(

As a former employee of Ace the first thing she should of done was make a copy of your id and money order together the copys are for our records but the fact that she kept your id from you thats a bit crazy our company doesnt allow us to go that far your id belongs to you not her, and she cant keep a money order unless she has reason to believe its fake and can prove to you its fake, if there was someone one that verfied it as false she should of put them on speaker phone for you... its ashame what customers have to go through when working with Ace and now a day they just hire anybody

hi im e-mailing you about a complaint i had an incident with this woman employee of yours at ace cash express at 1208 s euclid &ball in anaheim,ca92801;today i stoped to pay a phone bill and the woman who attended me was very rude she was almost shouting at me in front of other customers,that was very unprofessional from her part,im still frustraded about that incident.today is 11/12/09,please reprehend this person before somebody ,could file a sue. p.s. i hve been paying my bills here for over a year and a half.thank you very much.
