Southern Aquaculture Supply - Rude Customer Service Review

Southern aquaculture supply is the worst company i have ever dealt with. Their customer service are very rude and don't give a *** about their customers. They don't let you know when item ships and when you email them 2 weeks later they then tell you it's on backorder..After they already took your money. Then two weeks later again you hear nothing and when you simply ask if anything has shipped they snap at you and inform you that they already told you it was on backorder. Thenout of the blue the next day they refund my money without me asking for it and now I'm out the product for a month in which I could have gotten the same product from one of the other hundred companies that sell the same things. He forgot to tell you he let the one he bought last year freeze. When he called for a prof of purchase receipt he got it immediately.

If you look he ordered from us because we were 150 less than other companies.

Yes we had them on back order. By the way we never transfer money from paypal until we ship.


Yes I did have to replace the product and yes they did give me a copy of the receipt. Apparently he forgot to mention that the product was manufactured in 2009.

They did not post anything on their website about a backorder and it was up to me the consumer to contact them multiple times to get any answers.

On the price thing yes they are cheaper for that specific model, but you get what you pay for. I went with Hayward this time and get a bigger and better model for $150 less than their price
