Walt Disney World - Disney Fastpass Review from Birmingham, Alabama

Walt Disney World #1004338
Apparently you have never been to Disney or any theme park with a show/theater style seats. They always make you move down to the end of the row because 1) they need to fit as many people as possible not have a half-empty theater 2) not have guests tripping over each other because everyone decided to stop in the middle.

Macy's as a shill for political correctness!

Macys #1002815
" It is not up to a retail company to decide who we can and cannot do business with." Actually that is exactly their business. You yell "Free Market"; a retail company has every right to choose who they do business with. Free speech in the Constitution only applies to the government not private enterprise.

Macys #1002264
Freedom of speech only applies to the government. The government cannot punish you for what you said or prohibit you from saying certain things. A private corporation however can certainly decide who they do and do not want to do business with. Now you have freedom of speech to decry Macy's decision and not to do business with them, but freedom of speech does not apply to private companies and their business dealings.

"If you paid more than $800 in cash or more than $250 by check or by a debit card without a major credit card logo, we will refund you by check within 10 business days."
The BBB isn't going to do anything because as you mentioned this is stated in their return policy. You may not think that's fair and that is fine, perfectly acceptable to air your grievances on a site like this it's what it's for. However I would suggest reading the return policy of any store before committing to a big ticket purchase like this in the future to avoid any other unpleasant surprises.

Match their price?

Best Buy #999264
As a general rule in retail the price match window is the same as the return window, this stems from back when retailers used to have to 'return' the item and then 'resell' it at the lower price. Obviously most retailers no longer have to do this they simply issue a credit, but the window to receive this credit remains the same. Also because if you saw a lower price and they didn't want to price match for some reason you could simply do a return and purchase elsewhere, but when you are past the return policy time frame you are stuck with that product at the price you paid.

Retailers and their *** price match policy- Target, Wal Mart, Radio Shack

Target #998353
Stores don't match online prices because it's cheaper for the item to come from online than a store. When an item is ordered online the company has to pay for the warehouse upkeep, a handful of employees and maybe shipping. With a retail store they have to pay rent, utilities, multiple employees, etc. So an item is inherently cheaper to the company when you order it online so they pass the savings to you. A brick and mortar store is much more expensive to maintain so they pass that cost to you. That is why stores don't match online prices.

No Accountability After Damaging My Home

Best Buy #997920
I understand Law of Agency just fine, however that does not mean that this applies since it is simply a legal principal and would vary on state laws. Given that I have worked with nationwide furniture deliveries and installers the standard is to have everything go through the contractor's insurance. We the furniture company never dealt with the insurance claims. So just because I don't mention it doesn't mean I don't understand it or know about it, it just likely doesn't apply given previous experience in this area. Also given it's a legal principal it would be up to a judge to decide if this applies to a specific case.

WalMart Gift Card Chicanery

Walmart #995181
This is not a scam. Online stores do this all the time. Yes, the money seems to be taken out of your account right away and so you expect it to be returned right away. It doesn't work that way. Refunds can take 3-5 business days to appear back on your statement regardless of how short a timeframe between the purchase and refund, and in the case of gift cards it can take upwards of 30 days because there is rarely any information to verify that gift card belongs to a specific person unlike a debit card that has your name and account number. So no, this is not Walmart scamming you, this is an industry wide practice and neither the FCC, BBB , CTC or FTC will do anything about it.

Yes, it is YOUR fault! It doesn't matter if you are out of the country, YOU are responsible for payments. The credit card companies should NOT have to waive your fees all the time because YOU can't remember to pay your bill! All the details about what happens when you fail to pay your bill are in the credit agreement YOU signed. So you said that if you missed a payment it was OK for them to charge you late fees and compound interest. They aren't blood suckers, they are people who loaned you money in good faith and called you on your nonsense when you 'forgot' to pay unlike the other credit companies you've dealt with.

Actually many furniture companies have rules about proper care for outdoor furniture. I worked for a furniture company that sold outdoor furniture and if the furniture was not stored in the winter months or at the very least covered we would not cover anything under warranty. Any furniture set that is sold to be an outdoor set should be able to withstand the "physics" of cold weather. Unfortunately, I think you get what you pay for. I have had an expensive cast aluminum set by Woodard, a premium brand, for 20 years. We leave it out all winter. Unless the set is made of heavy cast aluminum it will not survive the northeast winters. These macy's sets are cheap for a reason - their "cast" aluminum is actually hollow, light weight, not solid cast aluminum.

Put Walgreens out of business!! They harass their customers, if pain medicine is needed.

Walgreens #990190
Actually according to Florida law it IS the pharmacists business to ask those questions.
Similarly, state law requires pharmacists performing their duties to exercise professional judgment in the best interest of patients’ health. Before honoring prescriptions, they are required to take reasonable steps to determine whether a prescription has been issued in compliance with state law.
A pharmacist can refuse to fill a prescription if professional judgment suggests filling it would be contrary to law, be against the best interest of the patient, aid or abet an addiction or habit, or be contrary to the health and safety of the patient.
So good luck finding a legal pharmacy who will just fill a prescription, period. CVS will do the exact same thing.

Walmart in Parker Arizona advertised a price and wouldn't honor it.

Walmart #990182
If the product is not in the right spot, Walmart is under no obligation to honor the price. If the $9.99 shower head is a Moen and what you have is a Delta the store has no legal obligation to honor that price because it's the wrong product. Just because someone puts an item under a $9.99 price tag doesn't make it correct. In fact another customer could have switched the price tag/product and that is illegal.
Even if this was store error and an employee stocked the item in the wrong place, the store is making an 'offer to treat' in legal terms. They say we are offering this product for $9.99. You then say "I would like to buy this product for $9.99". They however are under no obligation to sell it to you. A price tag is not a binding contract. The store can refuse a sale at any time, though obviously this does vary with local laws.
