Princess Cruises - Awaiting Refund for more than 90 days

My wife and I booked an 11-day Cruise Tour last year to Alaska on Princess Cruise Lines. Since cruises were cancelled we opted for their refund rather than re-book. We were told in early April we would have our refund ($7,617.40) within 60 days. It is now greater than 90 days since our refund request was received by Princess (and more than 9 months that they have had use of our money.) I do not recommend anyone should book a cruise for the next 5 years until they get their finances straightened out and I certainly would not recommend Princess Cruise Lines, owned by Carnival which also owns Holland America Cruise Lines.

User's recommendation: Unless you like providing a no interest loan, do not book with Princess Cruise Lines.

Amc Theatres - Bogus "Bonus Card" Offer

I received an e-mail offering a $10 Bonus Card if you buy a $50 gift card. made the purchase on December 5. Just read the Bonus card details before giving it a a gift. The Bonus card expires 6 days after Christmas. If you are thinking about buying one, buyer beware. This is bogus advertising. Gift cards have no expiration date. Legally, they get around this by offering "Bonus Cards" with an expiration. It's *** 6 days to use the Bonus card is ridiculous. I called and it is not a misprint. They purposely deceived consumers.

I had TruGreen promise me that they could improve my lawn in three months. So, I allowed them to service my lawn for three months. It seemed a bit better so I continued with the service for a year. I continued to have weeds after almost every visit and asked for additional service visits and the tech always had an excuse why we still had weeds. Finally dropped the service and told them if they wanted me to continue, come back and get rid of the weeds and I will start back up. They wouldn't come back without me paying for more service calls. I run a neighborhood blog for a community of 700 homes. Not a single homeowner has been happy with them and most have gone to an alternative service called Dr Ill's lawn spraying on Longwood, FL. and are very happy, typically after just one visit.

Sounds like you don't have a good grasp on how nature works. LEt me explain it to you.

Weeds will always come and go in cycles. No matter what company "treats" them.

Seeing weeds disappear for a short time is just a placebo effect. I'm sure your precious blog will have bad things to say about the new provider when weeds come back yet again...

Trulia Listings not credible

I reached out to Trulia about the wrong picture (which also means wrong value, wrong features, wrong pricing, etc.) being posted as my home. They told me I would have to contact Google to get this corrected. Google has the correct house pictured at my correct address. Zillow has the correct home at the correct address. Trulia owns Zillow. ????? Trulia says they bear no responsibility for posting the correct home at my address. The site has zero credibility. Half a dozen e-mails to make a correction and no progress. Waste of time trying to get a correction made. Makes no sense that Trulia and Zillow have same ownership yet information is incorrect on one site and not the other.

Red Robin - Poor service and experience at Winter garden, Fl location - 17 Days later and no reponse

My wife and I decided to try your restaurant on Saturday night, Feb 8th and were disappointed on a number of fronts: 1) On arrival we were told that there would be a 15 minute wait even though there appeared to be about a dozen empty, clean tables ready for seating. Second option was to sit near the bar at a high top table. 2) Received French Onion Soup cup that was half full. Waitress apologized and said she noticed it but wanted to deliver it anyway to give us something to eat and had ordered another one to replace it. 3) Soup was warm, not even hot as though it had sat around. 4) Replacement soup never came. 5) Waitress never came back. We were serviced by someone else for remainder of the visit with no explanation. 6) Wings and chips were served and wings were barely warm as though they were sitting around for a while under air conditioning. I am a Certified Food Service Professional and this may create a dangerous situation for your restaurant. I reported both "less than hot temp" foods items to supervision. Neither were replaced though an apology was offered. 7) Burger was seriously undercooked to my order for "medium" 8) Wife's salad was stunningly average vs menu description. 9) Unable to find anyone to pay for almost 10 minutes. Finally had to get hostess to find check. This took another 3.5 minutes. 10) Soup and wings were removed from check. This location needs a lot of retraining. Food needs to be served "hot" and timely. Wait Staff needs to be consistent, caring and attentive to "fixing" problems, not just continually apologizing. This first visit to your restaurant was quite disppointing.

Folks reading this site need to be aware that "Pissed Consumer" makes money by offering to work with companies that have complaints againts them. That is how they derive income.

They are paid to have folks like "Kevin" and "Anonymous" make comments that attempt to negate the impact of complaints. I would put a lot of weight against factual reviews like mine and very litle to people who respond and try to tear apart the reviews. Think about this. "What do folks like "Kevin" and "Anonymous" have to gain by wasting time responding to my complaint if they are NOT being paid to do so?" I don't need a gift card or a refund, I have money.

I don't need to impress my wife. She' always been pretty impressed with me.

I am not asking for anything except for food to be served safely and as expected. Who do you want to believe?

Do you honestly think complaining on this site is sharing information with the restaurant? This is a general complaint site, not a site for Red Robin.

As far as you being a Certified Food Service Professional goes, IF you actually are one, you would know that there are routine health/safety inspections done on any type of place that handles food. Oh yes! If you have been married for 49 years, you are old enough that you should be retired, therefore your alleged title doesn't carry much weight.

The food and the service were so bad, and you were so RUSHED, but still it took 20 days of dwelling on it before you decided to complain. Tell us the rest of the story.

Also dumbo, it takes time to prepare food. If you want hot food then you have to wait longer for them to prepare the food.

Next time ask for a kiddy menu, not to eat from but to keep you busy. Since you are impatient and do not seem to realize that it take time to get your food ready. Perhaps the real reason it was cold was because you kept rushing them and not giving time to prepare the food. Then you lie on this review and pretend to be certified in the food service.

If this were true you would not be complaining about the amount of time it takes, you would know for chicken wings it takes time to cook, it has to be at a certain temperature. You want hot food, learn to be patient and wait for it, otherwise either eat at home or *** They did more than accommodate you.

What exactly are you expecting, not only did they apologize you they took some items out.

Why so nasty and defensive? Sounds like you are part of the problem.

I have no desire for a gift card and having been married 49 years, no need to impress my wife. I am simply sharing information with the restaurant so that processes change and people don't get sick.

You need to grow up and maybe take a reading class and a class in how to properly prepare food.

They took care of the situation by removing the wings and soup so what else do you want? I get it either your whole meal reinberesed or a gift card because you can't offord to eat out but still want to impress your wife.
