You might wish to consider using a credit card and not PayPal to order stuff online. Much safer and the dispute process works well. Not a debit card, tho----much too dangerous.

We haven't been able to rely on the USPS for some time now. It is not getting better, nor will it any time soon. Best to pay attention to when your periodic bills come due and try to access them online at the vendor's website so you can see how much it is and the due date, etc. Then, if your bank or credit union offer a "bill pay" service, sign up for it and pay your monthly bills that way. Many banks offer this for free while many credit unions want to charge you for it.

You should find someone---a relative, friend, etc. who is handy and who can take off the covering to take a look at the push button components. I don't know which model of Rowenta you have but had this very same problem some years ago which I solved by disassembling the iron somewhat and releasing the spring under the button which had gotten caught up during assembly.

Actually, a good piece of advice would be to not order anything even remotely connected with Walmart. Best to order, if you must online at places like Amazon---much more reliable and with excellent return policies.

The increase in the charge is probably due to the various "penalties" and fees they imposed for the missing payment. They turned it over to a collection agency for pennies on the dollar and you can be assured that when you are contacted by that agency the amount will be substantially higher due to more fees, etc. Your credit should not be harmed all that much but you might want to get a free credit report encompassing all three of the majors and seeing if there is any reference to this action. If there is, you have the right to have your side of the story and reasons for disputing the bad stuff put into your file to explain why the bad report is well, bad. Companies nowadays are rather quick to sell late or missing payment accounts to a collection agency so they can write them off as bad debts on their taxes.

Call the number on the back of the credit card and tell the of the fraudulent transaction(s). They will take care of the problem and issue you a new card with new numbers, etc. This is why a credit card is much safer than, say a debit card. Do so immediately.

Nothing is "invisible" except, perhaps for Claude Rains many decades ago. A truly non-staining deodorant is one of those "crystal deodorant" tubes you roll-on which last for a year or more. They can be found in the same section of the store as all the others. It goes with a bit of water and I have never seen anything that was a stain, residue etc. They have no Antiperspirant in them, but let's face it---most people don't need that aluminum being absorbed by your body nor have a need for them unless you are prone to heavy perspiration or doing work which causes you to sweat.

You have now learned why booking with these third party companies can be dangerous in many ways. Always book directly with the hotel, airline, etc. so if anything goes wrong you deal directly with them and not through a third party.

You might want to find a local insurance agent who handles many insurance companies in your area. Sit down with him and see what he can offer you and compare with the policies and costs of the Globe ones. I suspect you will find this cheaper and/or more insurance gained with another term insurance company. I have never found Globe's insurance policies to be that competitive in cost of premiums and payouts when you do an actual comparison.

Depends on where you live. In my area, Spectrum works just fine most of the time. All these internet companies have occasional problems, but Spectrum cable internet is still leagues above the other ones.

When a financial institution changes the terms/conditions of it's relationship with you regarding account fees, etc. it is required to inform you of those changes and when they take effect. They usually do this as a notice on your monthly statement. You obviously missed it somewhere along the line with one of your monthly statements. You can discuss with the bank how to avoid the fees, eg., keeping a higher daily balance in the affected accounts and if you don't like those terms, you can just close the accounts and find a better bank. These fees are not set locally but at the corporate level who do not take the opinions of the local branches into account, nor yours. Find a different bank or go to a credit union as these are usually better with fees.

I have seen alot of complaints about Roku televisions. First of all, Roku has terrible customer service. And, from what I see their products can be rather unreliable leaving customers with few options/means to correct the problems. Next telly, buy a better brand.

Methinks you made a mistake in buying the Samsung brand washing machine. Best to buy, say a Whirlpool, Maytag, etc. Just a thought.

You claim a rock fell of their truck and hit your "needed?" Pray tell, are you talking about somewhere on your vehicle, person or property? What is a "needed?"

Here's a tip: wander on over to a Dollar Tree store if you have one in your area---they are now ubiquitous---and buy a couple or more sunglasses for a dollar per. Make sure they say something like "100% UV protection" or similar and when they break, buy a couple more. The plastic frames nowadays don't last that long if you don't treat them with respect, so try and find the metal-framed ones. Buying expensive sunglasses is a waste of money and your eyes don't know the difference between an expensive one or a dollar store pair.

Actually, having a couple of design engineers as friends who worked for two companies like Whirlpool, most dishwashers are designed by women. They apparently think a "woman's touch" is necessary when designing things like dishwashers as mainly woman use those things. They are a simple way of washing dishes and that matters to women, I guess.

If you were wise and used a credit card, just dispute the charge. This is why one should never use a debit card online----or pretty-much anywhere. Remember, tho that sizes don't mean much nowadays, what with most clothing coming from some foreign land. Always best to buy in a retail store where you can inspect the item and try on. Go to a store that sells sewing supplies. Buy a zipper that you can put on the clothing yourself with a pliers, etc. Read the directions. If you kept the broken zipper, take it with you to compare with other zippers and sizes while in the store---they come in different sizes, etc. If you have a good sewing store or similar in town, ask an employee for help in this.

As you said in your ending "get another credit card." You have no right to more credit. They are doing YOU a favor by allowing you to borrow money. They won't do so, however if they feel your credit is "iffy."

Contact the manufacturer---look on the package for a contact number, or find the Nabisco website and complain directly to them. They may send you a coupon, etc. Remember, tho that Nabisco is now part of a Mexican-owned conglomerate and from the many complaints I have seen online about quality now, yours may not be unusual.

You bought a cheapo telly from Walmart, didn't you? Try this. With the set turned off, unplug it from the wall and wait 5 minutes or so. Then, plug back in and it will be reset to it's original configuration as the day you got it. You will have to re-program some things as you did when you first used it, but the reset should fix the problem. Or, not. Remember you bought a cheap telly from Walmart.

When dealing with stores that hire mostly unskilled workers, store policies often are over-looked or simply unknown to the employees. They know not what they don't know. Thus, when you ask a question they give you an answer, any answer they think you want. Find a neighbor that has an air compressor either in his garage or in the boot of his car to inflate a flat tire. Or, have the birthday guests help you inflate the balloons the old fashioned way as a part of the party.

Holiday Inn has a corporate website. Go to it and contact them with a complaint about this location.

So, you want something for free! You signed the contract and guaranteed you would uphold your end of the contract while expecting them to do the same. If money is so tight now, perhaps you need to get rid of the extravagance of owning a cell phone. Simple solution. You have no "right" to a cell phone---free or otherwise.

You have a warranty with Toro---not with Home Depot, unless you were unwise and bought one of their "extended warranties." Look at the manual or other paperwork that came with the machine and read the warranty section. If it is still within the timeline since you purchased it, then contact Toto at the corporate numbers they give you. Take it from there. If all else fails, find a friend, relative or neighbor who can look at it and figure out possible solutions to what the machine is doing. Most non-riding mowers nowadays are really cheaply-made and unreliable.

Do an internet search for the problem, giving the model number, etc. Someone else must have had this problem and you might get some info on what, if anything to do about it. Stop with the "class action" nonsense, by the way. I bought a Garmin in 2010 and paid money for lifetime updates, which I have done every six months or so for the past 10 years---just last week was the latest. Works like a charm. Perhaps your version of "lifetime" is different from Garmin's. I vaguely recall other complaints about Garmin in this regard, so do some searching.

Bad job at the factory with the finishing work. Maytag will try to blame you for the problem, eg., using too much bleach, etc. as you noted. Best to junk it and buy a different brand. Remember, when buying appliances to get a basic, no bells and whistles model and when they break in some way, just toss it out for a new one.

No, don't just be "cautious", stay away from Sears. Other stores sell appliances. Sears is still in business, but who knows for how long?
