The FDA allows a certain amount of insect parts, etc. in food as it is impossible to get rid of all of it. Blame the workers in the plant for foreign objects, however.

Having floors laid or carpet installed by a big box store is really not a good idea. These stores are convenient and probably cost less than a regular carpet store but the problems come when the cheaply-paid installer does a bad job. Both Lowe's and the installer give you the run-around, etc. Best always to buy from a local carpet place who has had their own installers for some time and both will fix any problems that arise. It's called taking responsibility. If you used a credit card to pay, you could try disputing the charge for bad, unfinished work, etc.

All you can do is wait and see if it comes within the next month or two. If not, then re-contact them and complain. I have one of these machines, altho a much more expensive one and of another brand. It works very well but is not the greatest on fully carpeted rooms but does a great job on tile and wood floors. Not sure what can be expected of a $66 machine to begin with.

Did you know you could have probably just replaced the crumbled fuel line on your old Craftsman for a couple of dollars? Just a thought, but too late now unless you kept it for some reason. As for the Bolens, just junk it and buy another. There are many different brands out there and you basically have to just buy a major brand one and hope for the best given the state of most small machinery nowadays-----build cheaply and with apparent unreliability as a top requirement. You might also want to re-consider accomodations somewhere else in addition. There are all sorts of undesirable individuals lurking around Portland nowadays---probably why the Rodeway Inn is in such bad shape of late.

Sounds like the old "bait and switch" type of sale. They show you one thing and it looks good, but after you sign the contract they claim all those really nice features are "extra." You might carefully peruse your contract along with the plans, etc. to see what is actually stated as included in the plan you paid for. You are somewhat short on details. Who actually delivered the telly and who "plugged it in?" What was the reason they gave for not replacing the unit?

I guess the old song "puttin' on the Ritz" no longer applies for quality in crackers. Many, many complaints have I seen concerning Nabisco products of late. You can complain---the have a website---but all they may do is assuage your concern by sending a coupon for their product. You should do so anyway, however.

Karen, you really need to find something better to do than go online to a complaint site to complain about a local dollar store for something like this. Growing up we were taught to mind one's own business and not "snitch" on someone because we were "offended."

We suspect someone's children are now playing the games you left in the room. Most of the problems you describe are due to 1. lack of good management and 2. lack of good employees. Pretty simple. You can complain direct to Comfort Inn & Suites at their website---do a search for it and tell them of this location and the problems you had. Be aware that many of these lodging units are not owned by corporate but by private individuals/companies with few controls over them by corporate. However, if enough complaints about a particular location are received, provisions in the contract to re-evaluate/penalize the owners can be initiated. So complain for the record, at least.

I believe Kobalt products are now a part of Lowe's. Might tell you something. I would look and see if you can use a wheel from an old, junk mower, etc. If all else fails, junk it and buy a different brand---from some other store, but you may be able to cobble something together to make it work. What did they say when you asked why you couldn't order it? They must have given you a reason. Try having a local gun shop order it for you. Good always to get to know these small gun shops anyway, rather than a big box store like Cabela's. Personal service from a local guy is always better, even if you have to pay a bit more. Many people fall for these warranty plans for appliances, autos, homes, etc. Even Consumers Reports says they are all not recommended. As you said, save your premium money and then just pay for any repairs yourself. You will be money ahead.

Many gas station put a temporary charge on your account in order to see if the card is good, etc. and it will drop off in a couple of days. If they do not, then call the number on the back of the card and they can help you. No money will be permanently charged.

Call the dealer---I hope you purchased it from a local dealer and not a big box store like Lowe's, etc. The dealer will fix it under warranty if possible, but there may be a wait as he will service those machines he actually sold and not purchased somewhere else. JD is usually good about taking care of warranty work, however. If you bought it used, see if it is still under warranty. You can contact a dealer and he can look it up if you provide the model, serial number, etc. Ask what you need for him to do so.

Sounds like you signed up for something while on their website. Go to your account at the website and see what it is and if some sort of auto shipment or subscription, cancel. Next time online, use a credit and not a debit card.

Costco doesn't really care what you or other customers think. They are catering to those who want to be "safe" at any cost. Best to not renew your membership at Costco and shop at stores that do not insult your intelligence with feel-good policies.

First, you need to have a chat with whomever is squirming around on the seat. You are not supposed to be moving around on those things as, as you found out it is secured with nothing but two plastic screws and lateral and every which way movements will loosen them and/or break them. However, good news: you can buy replacement ones at places like Walmart or other stores for a couple of dollars or less. Look in the section where the lids are sold or in the one with all those plastic small boxes of nuts, bolts, etc. are found hanging on a wall.

Did you call over the manager? If not, why complain here? Also, you must realize that you were dealing with "a young guy" and we all know common sense has been "educated" out of him in the public schools. He is afraid---very afraid. At least he has been told to be so.

This is becoming more common due to most footwear now coming from some foreign land and being manufactured with cheap and poor materials. I have noticed it not only in shoes---mainly tennis shoes but also in socks, specifically Dr. Scholl's diabetic socks---altho not all of them. Probably depends on where made and by whom. You might try getting a bottle of foot powder at a Dollar Tree store and using that---sprinkle some inside the shoe at night and let sit and then just wear the shoe as usual the next day. There are also many odor eliminating sprays you can use but get one that doesn't have a perfume smell to it. If that fails, bin the shoes and buy another brand.

You fell for a common scam---the "free trial" for which you have to provide your credit/debit or other method for payment and, if you carefully---carefully read what you are signing up for you will see you will receive the free item, but also you are agreeing to receive periodic shipments of the product for which you will be billed or debited, etc. unless you cancel within a certain time frame. You need to cancel online with this company as it appears you didn't cancel within their timeframe. Good luck.

Downloading an app to your phone can be a dangerous thing from what I have read---they seem to persist even after you attempt to delete/uninstall the app besides some continue to monitor your online and other behavior, sending info about your activity back home to them and to whomever they sell your info to. You apparently "think" you cancelled your account with them after agreeing to some sort of periodic payments but they either ignored your request or you didn't cancel correctly, etc. In any event you might want to uninstall---if you can---the app and then contact your credit card issuer---you did use a credit card, did you not? and not a debit card. They can help you with this. You may end up cancelling the present card and obtaining a new one with new account numbers, etc. in order to stop them billing you.

Cancel AHS and buy a basic, no bells and whistles appliance. You will save the money by not paying for a home warranty that is worthless to you.

Contact your state environmental protection agency. Go to your state's main website and find it. File a complaint abut Aptive and go from there. You might also get a free consult with an attorney with the aim of filing suit for damages against Aptive including vet fees, emotional suffering, etc. Just because Aptive employees said the chemicals were safe means nothing---of course they would tell you it is safe. But, remember, in order to kill pests they must use some sort of poison and some are very dangerous to both humans and animals other than bugs.

Good to know, but I have been using John Deere tractors and mowers, etc. for decades with few problems, all of which were fixed by my local JD dealer who will treat you well if you buy the machines from him rather than from a big box store. To each his own, tho.

I've seen a few complaints about this device relating to problems such as you are experiencing. This device is but a USB flash drive which you can buy much cheaper in stores and online and that do basically the same thing as the photostick. If you can transfer files, documents or photos from your camera or computer, etc. to a regular usb flash drive, then you don't need a photostick. Just buy a good quality flash drive of whatever size you need and transfer all your photos to it. I have been doing this for years now and it works like a charm. If your machine is capable of using the new usb 3.0 then get that as it is much faster than the old 2.0.

Given the low price of printers nowadays and the fact that Kodak is no longer one of the major players in the printing machine business, perhaps the best thing to do is buy another major brand, eg., HP, Epson, etal. Do some research first as to the most reliable and cost-effective.

Contact Amazon Prime video and tell them---good luck finding out how, exactly to contact Amazon, however. They don't make it easy. Usually, the culprit lies in your household, eg., rugrats clicking on pay for view movies, etc. without your knowledge.

Unfortunate you chose to use a debit card and PayPal rather than a credit card. This is how we learn. However, you need to contact your bank and tell them what is going on----fraudulent transactions, etc. They can help you with this.

The sad fact is that Roku has no real customer service to speak of. In your case, you can junk the current Roku and buy another and set it up as if it is a new account, etc. Then, of course write down the email address and password for the future. Another possibility is to do a factory reset of your Roku. Do a search using these terms: "Roku perform a factory reset." This may be of help and takes the roku back to before you set it up. Then, set up a new account using a new email address and password, etc. In other words, set it up as if you never had a roku and are doing it for the first time. There are a couple of ways to do the reset depending on the model of roku you have. Good luck and keep those passwords.
