RoboKiller #1941814
The easiest way to avoid spam calls on your cell phone is to just not answer calls from unknown numbers. Just let it ring and if it is really important, they will leave a message on voice mail. By the way, from what I have read just de-activating RoboKiller may not get rid of it and trying to uninstall it may not work well and there is some sore of residual junk left over that conflicts with your phone software, etc. Do a search online for RoboKiller problems.

Having vibration issues with new set of Premier A/S Michelins on my Acura RL

Michelin North America #1941809
Be it known that large big box stores like Sam's Club and Costco may sell brand name tires like Michelin but the ones sold by these stores is not necessarily the same premium brand that a company like Michelin makes and sells to the general public. The big box stores often specify how much they are willing to pay the tire manufacturer per tire and, as a result corners are cut in the making them to ensure they are sold at a profit. In other words, the tires sold by a place like Costco may not be the same as the exact same make and model of tires sold at regular retail tire stores. One way to find out is to buy a set of the same tires from a different place that sells tires and see what, if any difference there is. If there is none, then your problem may very well lie elsewhere with the vehicle.

Return duplicate product

Amazon #1941429
When a customer complains about the quality of a product, they want you to complain direct to the seller, not Amazon the shipper. Your problem is not with the delivery of the product but with the product quality itself. You can request a refund from the seller and if refused then you can contact Amazon and complain about a refusal to refund.

Electrolux Appliances #1940791
If you know the part number and description then go to Amazon.com and see if they have it. Ordering these parts from the manufacturer and then waiting on them to bother sending it to you is not the way to go. You can also do a general internet search for the part as there are many appliance parts websites out there.

Inadequate Service

Spectrum #1940789
As you may have already surmised, internet phone service is not that reliable and subject to many problems, the most obvious being that when your internet goes out, so does your phone. The most reliable is a land line but there are many disadvantages to that method of communication: increasing cost; many crank and other calls from people in strange lands attempting to sell you something; or the irritating political calls of late. The best method is now cell phone service and there are many service providers out there to choose from. I recommend you drop Spectrum phone service and any cable tv from them and just keep the internet service so you can access the internet. Then, get yourself a cell phone and sign up with a provider---make sure you have no contract with them but can cancel at any time and get on with life. VOIP phone service is no longer the way to go.

Poor Quality and Workmanship

Lowes #1940396
Your experience is not that unusual when having a project installed through a big box store like Lowes or other. They farm out the jobs to an outside contractor who may or may not be reliable or do good work, etc. Therein lies the problem. Lowe's already has your money and has given part of it to the sub contractor who, having been paid for the job is reticent to spend more time and/or money to fix the problems. People like to contract for projects through a big box store under the assumption they will save money and that the store will fix any problems. That's a naive assumption as you have found out. Hiring a local small contractor to install a fence or whatever is usually a safer bet as far as having good results. There are local contractors who will do all sorts of projects for you and you don't have to pay them the whole estimated cost until it is finished to your satisfaction.

You are the victim of malware, not by Garmin but by the bad stuff you acquired by going to some website with nefarious intent. If you actually gave some stranger access to your computer, you may want to do a complete virus check with your anti virus software and also download and run Malwarebytes to check and get rid of the junk on your computer. That is not the worst of it, tho. By giving a stranger access to your computer you allowed him to see and access everything on the computer including bank accounts, numbers, credit and debit card accounts and all other personal identifying info. Your computer is now compromised as is your personal and financial information. Best to monitor your bank and card accounts, etc. Clean out the malware immediately. Sounds like you somehow went to a site impersonating Garmin and you fell for the scam.

Wrong. Sorry, I should have said I called garmin's tech support provided in materials & they called me back. I did not "actually" give my info to a random stranger. Please don't assume I'm dumb enough to give a random caller access :) I don't use this computer to save financial/bank/shop. I haven't used the (new) laptop I was on since March. I was watching & there was a disabled port (?). Shut my computer off & kicked him out. I had a raging fit & said I was calling from pissed consumer. Silence. I spent the next hour redialing & wasting their time demanding it be unlocked. Miraculously in the morning (before business hours) I uninstalled & reinstalled Garmin express (same site), put the SD in the device & device to computer. He insisted I had to use the SD slot. Wrong. ZERO problems updating after that.

TGF Hair Salon #1938435
Most of these salons were shut down by their democrat governors and lost alot of business and revenue as a result. They need to recoup some of it in order to stay in business, thus the penny-ante charges they now impose on the customers. However, one wonders why anyone, especially a man would go to a hair salon to get a haircut instead of just wandering into a barbershop for one and paying alot less. I still pay $8 for a haircut at a barbershop. And, a barber actually cuts it.

Remote not working, have done all troubleshooting tips

Roku #1938417
Check the obvious first---make sure the batteries are good with a battery tester. Buy a couple three or four of the dollar tree alkaline batteries they sell for a dollar. Then, move the batteries around while inside the remote with your fingers and see if the remote will work. Take a look at the contacts inside the remote and gently and slowly move the contacts "out" just a tad so the batteries fit a bit tighter and make good contact. If fiddling around like this does nothing then assume the remote is no good and, since Roku has little, to no customer service just go to Amazon and buy a remote for your model of Roku. Buy one that is an OEM and not a cheap one that is a substitute for the real thing. The other possibility is that the Roku unit itself is no good and not receiving the remote signal. If you just bought it from Amazon, contact Amazon and get a refund or a replacement. If purchased at a local store recently then take it back. We assume you kept the receipt.

File a complaint with both the federal and state consumer product protection agency. I have heard of this problem and you might also want to check to see if there is a recall on your range model, etc. Do a search online for "range recall exploding glass door" or similar. The fed CPSC may also show any recall and list other problems. Odd that Frigidaire won't help but if it is out of warranty they will ignore you. Buy a basic, no bells and whistles range of another brand and get on with life. But, do check to ensure there are no recalls, etc. There are also a few recall sites online where you can look for your range model, etc.

Website ordering issues

Petco #1938083
Check to see what extensions your browser has enabled like Privacy Badger, UBlock Origin, or if Firefox what your automatic tracking settings are for that site. I use Firefox along with some 3 or 4 different tracking/malware protection extensions and you always have to adjust some settings to allow some aspects of certain websites to work. You might also try using a different browser than the one you are using for Petco. Most are free and you can have more than one on your computer and switch between them as you please or as you need to. Some sites do not work well with certain browsers but will work just fine with another one. The computer programmers at some sites don't always catch the problems/glitches on their websites when certain browsers are used.

If you are following the directions to uninstall RoboKiller from their website and it doesn't work then do a web search and read what other dissatisfied users have to say and what solutions they used to get rid of it. Be aware that just uninstalling RoboKiller per their directions will not necessarily get rid of all of it and problems continue to occur to the detriment of your phone use. There are solutions available to get rid of this pernicious software on the internet. You have to search for them. As I recall, one may be to reset your phone back to it's original configuration as of initial purchase. This will wipe out everything you have on the phone, however so make sure you back up all your contacts, etc. Good luck getting rid of it. You are not alone.

Trying to get nortonlifelock cancelled has been a nightmare.

Norton Antivirus #1936756
The bottom line is that you really don't need Lifelock and most certainly not Norton. Norton is known for putting a ton of junk on your computer, causing problems. You can get the Avast Free Edition which works well and sign up for a separate Lifelock subscription if you are inclined to do so. As for your current problem with not knowing if your account has been cancelled, just contact your credit card issuer---I hope you did not use a debit card---and see if you can cancel the present card and be issued a new one. That will stop Norton from charging you money. If you do get rid of Norton make sure you download and run the Norton clean uninstall after you use the uninstall tool on your computer as Norton will leave behind a load of junk on your machine, causing problems if you don't get rid of ALL of the Norton software.
