Jayco - John

My wife and i bought a 2014 jayco greyhawk, we were told about the high quality of jayco campers.

On the first trip out we noticed a wierd noise under our feet, like a crunch or grinding. Then on the same trip my wife opened a cabinet door and it almost fell off. The trim in the bedroom is loose, the trim(wood colored tape) on the back of the dinette is all coming off. The dinette table has an edge that is not even leaving a gap between the plastic edge and the table top. This makes it very hard to clean.the first time the shower was used it leaked water on to the hallway floor.

I was very upset and asked the dealer to take it back, i feel it most likely will not hold up long term.

The dealer refused to take it back and wanted to repair it. I dont feel that the dealer has the expertise to repair it correctly. The factory said my only option is to have it fixed at the selling dealer, so much for the factory warranty!

Stay away from Jayco!

I wont mention the dealers name but you can probably figure it out.

We have had our Jayco White Hawk 21 fbs for 9 months now, outside of some minor issues with the trailer, it has but very good. Surprisingly enough it tows as nice as our 34 foot Holiday Rambler fifth-wheel did.

Quality in some areas could be better, and I mentioned my concerns, but the company never responded to them.

On a scale from 1-10, I would give them a 7! I think the biggest problem with the RV industry now is that the demand is high and they are not watching quality control as closely as they did.
