PlayStation - Thieves - they offer a refund - can only Chat with website - NOTHING happens afterward

Made 2 purchases of games, which I did NOT download and requested a Refund within 2 days. The Refund policy shown on the PlayStation / SONY website shows a FULL REFUND if requested within 14 days.

There is NO way to speak with anyone - ONLY Chat.

I received a Case Number on the Chat and was told I would get a refund / Reply within 5 days.

A FULL MONTH later No Refund or Reply was received.

I find it hard to believe the huge & famous Sony Corp needs to ripoff PlayStation clients to make a profit - but that's what they do.

No Support, No Reply to Chats, just stealing your money.

SHAME ON SONY - will NEVER buy any of their products / services.

Conde Nast - Wired Subscription Renewal BILLING is a Major RIP-OFF

Conde Nast - Wired Subscription Renewal BILLING is a Major RIP-OFF
Conde Nast - Wired Subscription Renewal BILLING is a Major RIP-OFF - Image 2

I have a Wired Subscription expiring in May 2024 - 4 MORE YEARS !!!

YET

CondeNest send me an Invoice for a Balance Due for another year's subscription,

If this was a joke it would NOT be funny - but it looks real.

The Invoice of course does NOT State that the Renewal would extend the Subscription from Jun 2028 - Jun 2029.

How does a publication with Business Integrity get away with such a RIP-OFF ???

They don't, since they seem to lack any Integrity.

The Wired Magazine is my Favorite Cover-to-Cover Read - I just hate the fact that it comes from an outfit like CondeNest - which I thought had better business practices.

OnMicrosoft EMAIL SPAM - growing by the second - annoying everyone

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Microsoft in it's infinite wisdom (or stupidity) released a new Email service where hundreds if not thousands of Scammer & Spammers are now inundating everyone with emails coming as: xyz@***.com making it impossible to stop. This new Email service seem to be free and easy to obtain and impossible to stop, so as to HARM the people who fall for the scams and at least ANNOY the rest of us who know how to protect against the Scams but can't avoid the nuisance. Congratulations to Microsoft for creating this HORRIBLE service. and - Merry Christmas to the rest of us !

Contacted Customer Service to get a refund for unused Fresh product I wanted to return - they REFUSED to offer refund for same

Original review Jul 22, 2023
UpWellness states: "Our promise is simple - we will always try to help" - but neglects to note they mean helping their profits as opposed to clients.
I purchased a 6-month supply (6 jars) of their "Golden Revive" product accompanied by various health claims.
My wife ended-up with some adverse allergic reaction to the product after using 3 jars of pills and I requested a refund for the 3 remaining SEALED JARS ( 15 Months Prior to Stamped Expiration Date), but not within their 60 day refund policy.
Company Rep refused to take product back for refund showing that their empty claim of "...we will always try to help" applies to their Profits - NOT their customers.
Caveat Emptor.

Dr Mona Lisa Schulz - $1,000. charged for a 2 Hr. Online session - WASTE OF TIME & MONEY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review May 07, 2023

ONE Star is a very generous rating for a $1,000. for a 2 - hour Medical Intuitive phone session with Dr.

Mona-Lisa Schulz. She appears to be an expert based on her academic credentials, but sensitivity and caring for a client in a Medical Intuitive phone session is not her focus. She is abrupt, wastes a lot of time on irrelevant things (her, her family's and client's Medical conditions and related detailed procedures) and then cut us off by saying she is out of time. She is argumentative, unable to hear what we said due to some hearing issue and asks the same questions over & again wasting much time and then as a result not answering our questions.

She is far more focused on justifying her approach than listening to our questions and concerns.

A big waste of time & effort AND a huge waste of a big expense of a $1,000. Buyer be aware!!!Stay

IKEA - Refunds - What a Joke - Once they got your money - they will keep it

Ikea has a Refund Policy stated on the back of the Register Receipt written for Law School Graduates, not consumers. No wonder they would want to tell you what they will and won't do. Every modern store will refund your returns to the Credit Card used for the purchase without any hassles. - NOT Ikea. The Store Manager told me they have antiquated equipment and use outdated software, so in order to give you a Credit Card refund they need the actual CC used for the purchase. If you don't have the CC in hand, they will just give you a Store Credit, so they can keep you money longer. What a Scam - Stay Away from such old-fashioned practices and money-grabbing merchants. When you shop and Home Depot or Lowes and bring back merchandise purchased on a Credit Card, they will automatically apply the credit - with no hassles - without you having to show the card. Show these greedy, money grabbing and holding clowns how to run a business with the consumer in mind. I certainly will avoid them like the plaque in the future !!!

They are not the only store to adopt that policy, Victoria Secret does it as well as Target. I don't really see how it's their fault you didn't have the card. Even if you lost that card they will issue the credit to the new card tied to the old account.

Guest

and fyi...you can avoid them like the plaque if you want...i suggest avoiding them like the plaGue though

Guest

This is to ensure people aren't using a stolen credit card.

This is common practice.

You sound guilty. Why wouldn't you have the credit card you purchased it with?

THAT is none of your bloody business - and nobody asked for your opinion anyway...

You chose to buy cheap, fiberboard furniture packed by slave-like labor from a store staffed by minimum wage employees.

Sounds to me like you got exactly what you deserve.

Lousy Florsheim Shoes - Even Worse Customer Service

Lousy Florsheim Shoes - Even Worse Customer Service - Image 3
Updated by user Sep 03, 2013

Following the review, someone at Florsheim finally woke up and decided to send a replacement shoe. Had it been done as a result of sending the original email with several detailed pictures of the defective shoe, it would have been a highly positive reflection for their...

Original review Aug 02, 2013
My favorite shoe, a Florsheim casual men's shoe, suddenly had its rubber sole disintegrate by having chunks of rubber break off, making the shoe useless. It is some years old, but had very light use and is in otherwise excellent condition.

I have older shoes and never had one where the sole simply disintegrated due to age. After contacting the company's Customer Service and forwarding detailed pics of the defective shoe, I requested a replacement pair of a similar style and instead was offered a less than 50% discount for another pair.

What a company making defective products and being unwilling to stand behind them and offer a replacement when presented with the facts of the defect. - BUY YOUR SHOES from another manufacturer, Florsheim does not deserve our confidence and business.

My Florsheim shoes soles' crack and pieces of rubber fall apart. This is the second pair that I lose due to the same problem, the sole's rubber material is not well cured you can chunks cut off with your fingers nails.

Have you done anything about it and can I trust your product?

I like the line of shoes you have but the soles quality seems very cheap.

Guest

You must have a boring life to cause all this *** over a set of shoes you pulled out of the thrash

Guest

I had that same style shoe I only wear them to church and keep them in their box the shoes are a year old and one day I go into the closet and get the shoes a piece on the bottom falls off and also while in church the whole side of the shoe just crumbled away so I really don't know how and why this happened but the experience was embarassing I found the same styles in a covington shoe brand an have not had that problem.

John N Mzy

Florsheim used to, repeat used to make excellent shoes. So did Nunn Bush.

No longer. I don't know about Florsheim but Nunn Bush and all others I have looked at are now made in Asia somewhere. They sometimes are fine but usually are cheaply made and do not hold up. I buy all my shoes at Meijer's when on clearance and never pay more than about $12 per pair.

I have a couple of dozen of various brands and styles. When one goes bad I just get another. The only US made manufacturer that I know of is Red Wing and they make work shoes, etc. No casual shoes, I believe.

Good luck. Buy by price and style, not brand. None can be trusted anymore. I have a brand new pair of Nunn Bush that I only wore for a month or so and the leather is now flaking off, coming apart, etc.

Total junk. You never know.
