Progressive Insurance - Progressive Concierge Service will take your money and RUN

I was a customer of Progessive for 15 years. Who knows how much money I paid. I'd estimate 13,500 has been paid on the conservative side since I began as a policy holder. I'm a "gold" member- see how far it got me. I spent many years paying off my car struggling through all the financial crisises and loss of income but finally paid off my car. I relyed on progressive, I had liability insurance and wanted to move to full comprehensive collision, my grandmother died and life took over. I had more important things to be concerned with. So I trusted them. I was on my way back from the grocery store and got plowed buy an unisured driver. She hit me going 20+ miles above the speed limit and deployed all my airbags, doing 8K+ damage to my vehicle UNINSURED DRIVER. Progressive dragged it out, made me suffer, didnt inform me, played games, changed their story, dragged my claim out and were so non-informative, made me wait a month. My claims adjuster was missing in action. Didn't return my calls, my emails, my correspondence. I calculated I paid Progressive 13,500 over the past 16 years. I was denied Uninsured driver protection under my policy for an accident Progressive decided was my fault. I hope I never see another Progressive commercial as long as I live. They are a business that focuses on customer satisfaction yet I could go on for an hour about how they made this claim a nightmare. My 70,000 vehicle is trashed because of an unisured reckless driver and Progressive made my experience that much worse. Don't save the money to insure yourself with them you will pay later. Lies, twisted stories, manipulation and canned answers is what you get when you have to use your policy. FLO- a cute and very misleading representative for a comapny that does not cover it's customers.

I agree. Dealing with them now.

They want EVERYTHING from YOU, and they want it NOW, but try to get an answer out of THEM, and they take their sweet time, while leaving you twisting in the wind! I will be changing ASAP.

I am not a progressive customer but was hit by someone who was. My experience mirrors yours. They actually lie and don't use emails, to avoid having a record of their response to your complaints.

@Knows More Now

Yes- that is exactly what happened. Not a single email.

And my claims adjuster was missing in action, she told me one thing and her supervisor a completely different story. She even documented on the claim that she contacted me on a date that she did not which is fraud! Now I'm selling a Jaguar for $300 after being a customer for many many years.

I was left uninformed, unprotected and an uninsured driver walked free to do it all again. They didn't even have a statement from her and the accident report defied the laws of physics!!

CWS Recovery - Wreckers and Tow companies are parasites and the businesses that support them are just as cupable

I went to dinner in the lower Greenville area of Dallas TX and went to a birthday party after. At 2:30 AM I discovered that I was towed from the parking lot that I parked in. I called to inquire why the car was towed and to ask why the parking lot had no clear posted signs (except the standard sign all lots in Dallas have where towing can take place). The point is, I had no idea that after midnight my car would be towed. The receptionist claimed there was information on the sign or the space that indicated this. There was not. So, thank you to the Vue, Greenway investments, CWS Recovery for advocating this. I wasn't harming anyone by being parked in a lot that was empty during non-business hours. So $164 in fees, a $65 Uber trip and a 3:30 AM trip to the yard is my punishment. I will boycott the whole street and all businesses going forward. This was unnecessary. All the small businesses on this street need each other to be successful. If you want to tow patrons for spending their money in your neighborhood I'll boycott all of them. I had to work the next morning and I really enjoyed that 9 hour day after flushing $220 down the toilet and with 3 hours sleep. The wrecking business is disgusting, the people that work for them are criminals and I don't know how you all sleep at night. You got my money and all the businesses in your neighborhood will never see my face again. Support the neighborhood you do business in and don't penalize patrons for parking in your empty lot. Post signs that make it clear what the guidelines are. I hope CWS, The Vue and Greenway investments go out of business. Enjoy your lot and your "visitor" spaces the more patrons you do this to, the less success your local businesses will experience.

CWS Recovery is being investigated and TDLR has declared their signs are illegal and that they are towing cars illegally. I would highly suspect someone will get prison time for their misdeeds.

If you boycott the street maybe there will be parking for actual customers.

Have at it! I don't feel the need to have to explain or justify how much money I HAVE spent on Greenville Ave.

at its businesses. If businesses can't support each other to share parking to facilitate more visitors then all of you that want to park on dark side streets 4 blocks away can rule the school.

Doesn't make a flip of a difference. Towing people indiscriminately and collecting their money under duress to make a living is dirty pool.

You have rights under the Texas DTPA - the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. It involves sending a notice to the property owner with misleading (or no) signs.

Attorneys represent people all the time to enforce this law.

When victims win, the other side has to pay the attorney fees. Often it is settled because of the attorney's letter.

Funny, no pictures of the signs. Could it be that you just didn't read the sign or thought *** them, it's after 12."?

@tellthewholestory

There isn't a picture of the sign because as stated it's the same standard sign posted in many lots all over town. No specific sign for someone to be made aware of this. And I read the sign before walking away- way before midnight!

Towing Review

I was towed by C&W recovery while patronizing local businesses on Greenville ave in Dallas Tx. I won't ever support the businesses in lower Greenville again, they endorse this lot for parking and I got towed anyway.

TIME WARNER CABLE- WARNING YOU WILL GET SCREWED

I WAS a Time Warner Cable subscriber from 1999-****. YOU WOULD THINK that meant something. That would mean that I personally spent $20,160.00 in the years I subscribed. Would that make you a "VALUED" customer? THINK AGAIN. I consistently from 2007-**** had issues with my cable service. On a regular basis I experienced poor picture quality, disruptions, faulty receivers and late technician visits. But the COUP DE GRAS was the following incident that led me to divorce TWC for life and I'm so happy I did. My service was interrupted on a Friday as I left for a trip. I had no idea why. I tried to call customer service so many times. No matter how much I persisted, or goy angry they said the couldn't discuss the nature of my disconnection because it was a security issue and kept directing me to call their security department. I called, several times of course but I received only voice mail and no return call. I had been hassled over the 3 previous years, with loss of service, inconsistent availability of certain paid channels, defective receivers and technicians who showed 2-3 hours past the window (or not at all). Through all of this I never received anything but a nominal credit (between 5-7 dollars). I finally spoke with the "security department" who informed me that my service was disconnected because the PREVIOUS TENNANT in MY APARTMENT had a UNPAID PAST DUE. ??? Well, last I checked this is America and I'm not responsible for some other individual's past due account!! However, the agent INSISTED that I not only owed their amount, but that I resided with the previous tenant in their past residences!! OF course I objected, this was ridiculous. I reminded her that in the past 12 years they were my cable provider and could verify where my service locations were. NO, she wanted me to fax copies of my leases and utility bills to PROVE it. Well my answer was NO! And upon this day I asked that my service was permanently ended and a technician could come pick up all the equipment. She did not flinch, apologize, NOTHING. I was routed to a customer care specialist who encouraged me to stay, "you are a valued customer"... Really?? That's why after spending $20K in services you have shut me down because of another individual's past due in the same location? I left. I ordered Direct TV and since then (going on 3 years) I have had NONE of the issues associated with TWC, never have had to call for a repair, tech support issue, customer service issue, and have been treated like a "valued customer" EVERY TIME. So if you experience lack of consistency in service and an unwillingness to make it right by TWC, switch. THE GRASS IS GREENER on the other side, regardless if it is more expensive.

I have rented from Redbox for years with very little issues. The problem is, once you have an issue, they take no accountability nor do they provide real satisfaction with their solution. When you go to a restaurant and receive a rotten meal, you want your money back,...
