Being kicked off Instacart

Hello this is Lindsey Thomas and Im a shopper with Instacart. The last couple of days spent shopping for customers, spending each an hour or so on batches for customers, I was stated at checkout that the orders had already been selected and delivered.

Both visits at the Fred Myers off 176th and Meridian in Graham, WA my cashier at the time had told me that numerous of other Instacart shoppers have been having the same issue as I did that day. I spent 1 hour on the phone waiting to talk to a Instacart representative about my shopping experience for those two days with the split batches that were supposedly already had been shopped for and deliverered. My question is, why was alerts for for batches being sent out for delivery if they were already chosen and done by another shopper in the area? I dont believe that is my fault.

I selected batches in my area that popped up, went to the store and spent my time shopping the batches, only to find out in the end were already done.

I had no help on what I was to do with the orders that didnt go through at the checkout. I was told by the cashier to leave the cart behind, just as other shoppers have been doing as well, that have been having the same issue with batches popping up and already been done and delivered. I am highly disappointed in this situation as a shopper because I have really enjoyed Instacart and have never experienced a problem with the app or issues with prior customers. I believe this might be an issue on Instacarts end if other shoppers have been having the same issue.

I really hope things clear up and Instacart is running its app properly again, so that many customers dont report innocent hard worker shoppers that didnt do anything against Instacart rules and regulations. I hope this issue clears up and I can remain a shopper for Instacart.

Thank you kindly,

Lindsey Thomas
