Mazda North American Operations - Mazda Zoom Bang Bang

Purchased a new Mazda CX7 s Grand Touring Turbo and have had problems with the Air Conditioning from day of delivery. When AC is first turned on it starts with a loud bang. AC does not adequately cool car. When traveling at over 50 mph car will get cool, but definitely not cold. When traveling in city traffic AC is definitely not adequate. Took CX7 to Mazda dealer several times with complaint pertaining to AC on last attempt to have corrected this is Mazda's response. Customer states "there is A/C compressor noise in the morning. Dealer Reedman Toll called Mazda hotline. Dealer was told it is normal "reference # 816964. Mazda hotline contacted engineers and responded by Mazda field engineer "this is a normal condition of the vehicle; compared to another like vehicle". If Mazda believes this to be "Normal" the company would not be selling many vehicles. This noise is loud and annoying. When the temperature is ninety degrees the car remains hot even with AC at full blast. It is interesting that the 2012 Dodge Avenger with 40,000 miles provided to me as a loaner while my Mazda CX7 by Hertz and probably getting average maintenance AC worked exceptionally well. My CX7 with under 10,000 miles and serviced every 3,000 has extremely poor A/C which is described as "normal" by Mazda. I also found Mazda customer service to be exceptionally uncaring. In fact after the service visit and report I contacted Mazda service representative. Mazda told me they were recording the conversation; when I said so am I Mazda hung up. What is Mazda worried about? Certainly not having their field engineers correct the A/C problem.
