Hertz - Did not get what I paid for.

On July 9, 2021 I booked a Hertz car from the Cleveland Airport for the period 7/21 thru 8/4. I had family coming from out of town including my M-I-L who is in a wheelchair and my Jeep was not going to cut it. I specified and paid for a full-size car Chevrolet Malibu or similar Full-size at a price of $952 (not including insurance). When I got to the rental lot I was told Pick-out any car in Section 1. When I got to Section 1 there was only one car there, a Hyundai Venue, a subcompact SUV. I went back and said I needed a full-size and was told if it's in Section 1, it's a full size. I had no choice but to take the car and my visitors' plane was landing. For the week while traveling I had to use the rental and my Jeep as a subcompact was not adequate for out needs. D I reached out to Hertz and their reply was that a sub-compact SUV its the same as a full-size car, They did offer a voucher for a future rental of $20, this being 2% of the rental price I paid, I refused it.

You sound like a train wreck. They offered a solution and you refused... Deal with it
