Team,

This email to get you appraised of the horrific experience I am going through at the Zara outlet at Phoenix mall Pune.

I am an absolute fan of shopping at Zara and its been years of delightful shopping until weve come across this roadblock, which has destroyed our perception of Zara and its management.

This started in November, when I bought my husband a pair of denims, which tore the first he wore them.

I presented this denim to the store and the store acknowledged the defect and were prompt in helping me with a replacement, which is an excellent example of the customer centric Zara we know.

The irony is that the replacement I received ripped apart at exactly the same place that too the first time it was used, which made it evident to us that there is an issue with the product.

There is a lot of time & effort invested in getting to the store to report something that has not been up to standards on 2 occasions, having said that I humbly went back to the store ans explained my situation to the store management. The price of this denim has dropped from 3450 to 1790 in the interim, which is absolutely out of my control and influence.

With the denim being defected on 2 occasions it is within my rights to ask for a full refund, for me to pick another product (Within Zara) as an alternative, only because there is an evident manufacturing defect on the product I have bought.

I am absolutely disgusted because I am being offered an exchange amount of 1790 (Instead of 3450 that Ive paid) only because the price of the denim has dropped, which is unacceptable.

The store manager repeatedly mentions that there is no way he can secure an approval for me to get a replacement of the original price I have paid for the denim, which i believe is unethical and a fraudulent approach of treating customers.

As a consumer, I am expecting a full refund of the amount I have paid and I am happy to use the refund amount (3450) within Zara to make another purchase.

I am attaching pictures of the make and damage of the denim being referred to for refrence and am expecting someone to get back to me with a logical and positive solution to this sdiituation. Below are my contact details for refrence.
