Aspen Dental - I was given a crown not repairing my broken tooth.

Dr.Malone told me he could put pins in my broken tooth and build it up.I did not want a crown.So I get a crown not knowing what he was doing.The office never got approval from my insurance.I have no coverage for the crown.I get another bill in the mail for 327.80 that they told me the insurance was paying.So where do the office staff come up with these numbers without insurance approval?Now I have to pay the whole bill for the crown.Is this their normal way of doing business?My insurance company has no record of any contact from Aspen Dental.

wow! I really hope that they take care of the bill and not do that to anyone else!
