JJsHouse - They took money and did not deliver - Image 2

I purchased over $1650 worth of product - shoes for my music students to wear with their formal uniforms. I even paid for expedited shipping.

customs charged me almost $800 and only delivered part. come to find out that jjshouse did fill out the paperwork properly. so DHL wouldn't release to me and couldn't ship back. I notified jjshouse of this but they chose not to fix it.

now 4 months later, they refuse to take responsibility and refund the $1400 they owe. instead they waited for DHL to destroy the pkgs as undeliverable and offered to only pay 40% of missing products. unacceptable!

a company should stand behind their mistakes...and this was a huge one that cost high school students money since it was their money for their shoes! any company that steals from kids is not a company to do business with!

Take the 40% and invest it in good works . The Bible states : Ecclesiastes 7:12 12 Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.

It's in China. They don't follow other countries' laws.

What are you going to do about that ? You could ask Mao Tse Tung to have them executed, but it won't help.

First, the company has 26 rating 5 stars and 289 rating 1 star so obviously the company is not providing product or customer service to many people. Second, we should concentrate on the fact that an order was placed, paid for and not received.

And it sounds like a refund has been rejected by the company.

I don't think the issue is whether students wear uniforms or whether the teacher is a good one. Take that out of the equation and all you have is poor business practice.

Poor business on both sides. Don't spend $1650 worth of other people's money on a whim.

Apparently no background info about the company was obtained prior to ordering. Professional purchasing agents are responsible for screening vendors prior to placing orders for goods.

Certainly the school district has at least one ; that's who should have handled all procurement. This teacher was 'out of her class' taking that action upon herself and the district has no checks and balances.

in reading all the comments, it looks like somebody keeps trying to pull the focus off of the main point. all the facts point to a company that does not have good practices or customer service.

customers place an order, company fulfills the order. if they do not, then they replace the product or refund the money. very black and white.

the complaint is against the company for violating acceptable business practice. it is their fault alone for this and it looks like alot of customers have been complaining.

It's not "very black and white". If some dummy walks out in front of a bus without looking, whose fault is it when they get run over ?

Their own or the bus ?

Spending money without source familiarity or background checking is foolish and wasteful. Caveat Emptor : Let the buyer beware.

Since you are a professional debt collector how about giving her some sound advice instead of criticizing. What is done is in the past but she might appreciate your input.

OK : The first debt which must be repaid is by the person responsible for the purchase to the minors with whom she entered into an illegal contract. The sole remaining debt would ordinarily be collectible by that person from the material vendor.

Unhappily, she did not mention by what method she paid, the location of the supplier, the published terms and conditions of return, the specification of 'expedited shipping' and any number of other essential details which would have permitted analysis rather than criticism.

She botched the entire transaction from Day-1 in every possible way. Rather than being offended, this should have been a learning experience for someone who is ordinarily charged with the education of others.
