Frontier Communications - Advertised Internet price is not the price
Frontier claims that their advertised Internet service price of $39.99 is not misleading even though they absolutely require the customer to pay a $10 equipment rental fee even then the rented equipment is not possessed or used by the customer. Frontier Communications...

Hello luckinb34, I apologize if there has been any miscommunication about the equipment rental fee. That line item cannot be waived.

We can send a new modem out to you if you like. Ultimately you can of course choose not to use our equipment in favor of your own, but if you do so we will be unable to support that third party equipment. Also, if you do ever have a connection problem, our tech support team will not be able to utilize it's full range of tools to assist you.

If you would like to arrange for a delivery of a new modem, please private message us to get started. -Christina

Forkdelta Io - FORKDELTA.IO is a PHISHING website

This complaint is against the operator of "FORKDELTA.IO", of obscured ownership, who uses name registrar "NAMECHEAP.COM" of the U.S.A. and web host "Shinjiru Technology Sdn Bhd" of Malaysa. FORKDELTA.IO is nearly a duplicate of "forkdelta.app" for the purpose of phishing clients of "forkdelta.app". The Name Registrar for FORKDELTA.IO is NAMECHEAP.COM who does ignore knowledge of complaint against FORKDELTA.IO that is now available for review by the way of a web-search on the term "FORKDELTA.IO PHISHING".

Ebay - Seller to Buyer feedback policy 2019

Ebay - Seller to Buyer feedback policy 2019
Ebay - Seller to Buyer feedback policy 2019
The seller is not allowed to leave any negative feedback. Feedback that is only positive is of no use. My buyer bought a Seagate 10TB Backup Plus Hub STEL1000****. On receipt the buyer wanted to return the item. eBay provided the buyer with a return label. I received an odd sized, under weight, package back that was squished. It contained a box of Puffs facial tissue. I left feedback that tersely stated the truth. In a moment I realized the feedback was marked positive feedback. I spoke to eBay and was told my feedback violated eBay's feedback policy because the statement I made could be interpreted negatively. Sarcastic

Ebay's Feedback is a complete JOKE! The current system is a disservice to both buyers AND Sellers!

What is really needed is a fair and honest feedback system / rating scale that is numerically based (Likert-type, for those of you who know research). A five- or seven- point scale gives much better information.

A just and fair system would also include a way to provide detailed open feedback, such as on this site. But it appears that Ebay really isn't looking for genuine feedback, but just any gimmick to squeeze more revenue from both buyers and sellers.

Kaiser Permanente California

Kaiser Healthcare California has not had as part of its "physical" SOP a hearing test. I realized this out of my aging mother's experience. She's been a Kaiser member for over a decade. Her hearing deteriorate significantly through the course of several "physicals". As a side note, she strongly resisted her children's insistence that she attend a hearing test. In 2014 December I finally sneakily confronted her physician immediately after one of her "physicals" as asked if it was obvious that she had hearing difficulty. The physician acknowledged that he noted some hearing difficulty. He also noted that she had repeated herself several times; she had developed short-term memory difficulties of which I was acutely aware. Subsequently he scheduled for her a hearing test. Her hearing had deteriorated 50dB low to high in frequency, a flat reduction. January 2016 I was able to find just published research firmly linking elderly individuals hearing deterioration with deterioration of short-term memory and ability to form new long-term memories. It is not yet known if correction of hearing loss will protect against memory failure. Regardless, Kaiser Healthcare California's SOP should actively seek to detect hearing loss in its membership.

Hemet Dental Group And Orthodontics - Doesn't advise patient that quoted services are priced higher than the dental plan's pricing.

My visit to Hemet Dental Group revealed I would need a crown installed. I communicated that I had no dental insurance and would take suggestions. Office staff informed me of their in house insurance called "Smile-Dental-Plan" which I could obtain for no fee. I accepted. An explanation of the plan's advantages was given. This plan would secure for me a price of $1050 for the recommended ceramic crown. Additionally I was shown a Smile-Dental-Plan brochure specifically for the suggested crown and saw a $1050 price in print. All financial and insurance information was presented to me while sitting in the dentists chair wearing a bib with the dentist, dental assistant, and office staff about me. Subsequently the suggested ceramic crown was installed. The next day I obtained information concerning the "Smile-Dental-Plan" from the plan's website. I found a dental procedure "Fee-Schedule" mentioning a $995 price for a ceramic-substrate-crown under the procedure code used on the receipt I obtained the previous day. I went to Hemet Dental Groups office to ask why I had not be told about the $995 crown procedure found in their offices "Smile-Dental-Plan". The office staff took my copy the "Fee-Schedule" and stepped away to research the issue. Subsequently I was informed that they had been unaware of the $995 ceramic-substrate-crown. I left the office realizing, the previous days explanation of, the "Smile-Dental-Plan" ceramic-crown options had not been fully disclosed or discussed.

Enerpluse Incorporated - Pulstar spark plug disintegrated and suddenly my car uses lots of oil.
I installed a set of four Pulstar plugs on my Saturn VUE. After a few months of improved gas mileage my vehicle began having momentary bouts of lost power. After a week or so I thought to pull the plugs to have a look and found the first plug to no longer have a sparking point and was missing a significant amount of glass where the sparking point would have been. The Pulstar company replaced the plugs. A few weeks later I noticed that my oil was down, off the stick. I had never had to put oil in between changes. The oil had never even seemed to lower between changes. With the sudden loss of so much oil I figured could only be associated with the failed plug. The plug had deteriorated quite a bit of glass and metal into the cylinder. The folks at the Pulstar company assured me their spark plug wasn't the cause of my vehicles oil loss. I inquired how to be sure of that. The Pulstar company's representative did not suggest any diagnostic. The oil loss continues at about a quart per thousand miles.

I feel bad for you. If an electrode or smallest piece of ceramic drops into a cylinder, it's trashed.

A single grain of sand will destroy a cylinder...think about the damage that a piece of hardened electrode will do. The more you drive, the worse it will get. Any rep. who claims no damage occurred by a piece of metal falling into your engine is blowing smoke up your ***.

A mechanic can examine the cylinder without removing the head by inserting a borescope camera down the spark plug hole.

It won't cost much and you'll be able to see and record all the damage. I'd get all the evidence and take them to small claims court for the cost of having the engine rebuilt.

If that happened to me and they refused to take responsibility, I'd spend a a few spare minutes a day for the next year posting to every car and motorcycle forum with my story and pictures.

Word will spread and any Google search will bring it up within the first few hits. I doubt they'd like that.

Good luck!

Symantec - Norton Utilities perpetual license does expire.

Symantec - Norton Utilities perpetual license does expire.
Symantec - Norton Utilities perpetual license does expire.
The license key for my Norton Utilities 14.5 will no longer activate my copy of the program when I once again install the program on my computer rebuilt with a new hard-disk. Bharath: You have purchased Norton utilities 14.5 which does not has support & its an older product. Bharath: We support version 15 & 16 which provides excellent features. Clint luckinbill: Norton Utilities has a perpetual license! Bharath: Yes. Bharath: If you install version 14.5, only limited features will work. Bharath: But no support for this version. Clint: I should be able to use the product until..... Symantec is out-of-business and turns off the "activation server". Bharath: Yes. That true. Clint: I don't want support. I have a licensed product and simply want to use it. Is the definition of support - "using the product"? Bharath: But No product support for version 14.5. Bharath: If you install version 14.5, only limited features will work. I am told that Norton Utilities 14.5 is old enough that technical support is no longer offered. All versions of Norton Utilities will eventually not be supported. So eventually a perpetual license holder will not be able to excercise use of the license and thus the license is in reality not perpetual. Symantec has not spell this out and so is not honoring the perpetual licenses that it sells. Clinton: Is my Norton Utilities 14.5 having a perpetual license? Clinton: ??? Sivachandran K: Norton Utilities comes with perpetual license Clinton: Does that mean that I am licensed to use the product for how long? Sivachandran K: If the product is already activated, it will be working without any issues Clinton: ??? I thought that would be an easy question to answer. Sivachandran K: Since you are trying to activate it now, you are having this issue Clinton: You will tell me how long I am licensed to used the product please. Sivachandran K: There is no expiry for the product if its activated already. Clinton: Is there a difference in installing/activating the product 3 years ago and then again installing on the same computer with a new hard-disk today? Sivachandran K: I am sorry sir since its unsupported, I will not be able to assist you with this issue. So Symantec will not terminate the use an installed copy of Norton Utilities after Symantec terminates product support. But, Symantec will not allow the software to be reinstalled if activation is required, like re-installing after rebuilding a computer with a new hard-disk.

Symantec - Office Depot Norton Utilities Rebate 10-3**** is broken

* Office Depot had a Symantec rebate 10-3**** for Norton Utilities 14.5 running from 10/24/2010 thru 10/30/2010. * The rebate didn't say and the Office Depot staff didn't know that Symantec rescticted the rebate to UPC 0376******** * My and many Office Depot stores have only ever stocked Norton Utilities 14.5 with UPC bar code 0376********. It is not possible to buy the product with UPC ending 277 from those stores. * My rebate was refused by Symantec (the rebate processor). * I asked Office Depot phone sales if I could be sold a copy of the Norton Utilites 14.5 with the UPC ending 277 and was told they were sorry but that sale would not be possible. * I made a phone call to Symantec rebate center staff identifying myself as a person interested in utilizing the rebate and wanting to make sure I purchased the correct product. I asked the staff to please supply me with the UPC bar code numbers applicable to the rebate 10-3**** and was told by the staff that the applicable UPC bar code numbers could not be disclosed to me. * A Symantec rebate center staff supervisor "double talked" me. He told me that Symantec was not hiding the rebate's UPC restriction from Office Depot. He said Office Depot knew about the rebate and the product UPC bar code. i already knew that Office Depot store staff and telephone staff had accessed the same rebate forms I possessed to tell me about the rebate and the store staff only knew the product UPC that was stocked. The Office Depot store and telephone staff did know all about the rebate communicated by Symantec, just not some important details the Symantec withheld.
