Nashville Dodge - Misrepresented the check out of the vehicle
In sept. I bought a 2002 dodge durango from nashville dodge in antioch, tn. I was told it had been through the 125 point inspection. After gettinig it home and driving it for a while, I noticed that it needed some work. Here is what I had to do. Replace spark plugs. The regular gap is .040 the plugs were burnt out to gap .080. The oil was not changed and t he date on the filter showed 5/19/2008. Shocks had to be replaced all four. Vacuumm lines were rotted through and needed replaced. The tires are going to need to be replaced. Evidently they aired them up before they sold it to me because they had holes in two of them. I sent a certified letter to the manager there and he never replied to me. After a month I called the lady that sold it to me and sh said that she would talk to him. Her name was Grace McIntosh. I still never received a call so I called her back and left a message on her answering machince. She or he never called me back. About a few days later the manager of the service dept. called me and offered me excuses and that was it. I still have not received a call from the manager or Grace as of t his day which is 10/23.2008. The certified letter was signed on 9/19/2008. I sent the manager pictures and one of the sparkplugs to show him what it was like. I guess Chrysler doesnt care about there customers after they sell them a vehicle whether it is used or new. I contacted the Better Business Bureau about this and I am waitiing to hear back. I requested that the dealer give me 4 new tires to settle this.
