PMG Construction of Houston - Patio Slab Cracking across the middle

PMG Construction of Houston - Patio Slab Cracking across the middle
PMG Construction of Houston - Patio Slab Cracking across the middle
Update by user Jul 24, 2020

Be Careful with this company because they use threatening comments and behaviors with customers.

Original review posted by user Jul 24, 2020
In June 2020. PMG Construction poured a 10 x 20 patio slab without mesh wire or rods. Due all the shabby jobs done at my home, I am seeing the patio slab crack across the middle of it and separating from the house. There are cracks everywhere inside and outside my home. They do not feel I should complain about their poor quality of work. This is the worst construction company ever! If you are considering this company DONT. Luis is the manager without any professional etiquette and totally clueless....no soft skills to interact with the public. Chris Tamez is a Yes Man and will say anything to deflect from any issues with their work. Untrustworthy, unethical, does shabby work and get angry with customers if they complain. I had to hire another construction company to correct everything If they do not like your complaints, they will use threatening comments and behaviors with customers. This company should not interact with customers or at least not allow Luis - Manager talk to customers. Chris Tamez is a manipulative con- man for the company.

User's recommendation: Want Quality Work - Do not use this company.

Carnival Cruise Line - Carnival cancelled cruise then charged a cancellation fee

Charged a $250.00 cancellation; fee when Carnival cancelled the cruise. In 2019, I reserved a cruise for the Mexican Rivera Cruise leaving from Los Angels California. Due to Carnival lowering the cruise price the amount I original paid in the amount of $1231.00 was lower and the amount was placed on an On Board Credit. Therefore, I had $784.00 in On Board Credit they had a Casino Player Offer which lowered the cruise amount to $549.00. Carnival will not send any refunds so again they added it to the On Board Credit. Carnival Cruiseline canceled my cruise for July 11 in an email letter sent to me. In the letter it provided 2 option which I selected the full refund. I called Carnival Customer Service they transferred me to a Lead then customer relation that transferred to casino offer. This went on for 2 months with numerous incorrect answerS from Carnival representatives with attitude and no soft skills to deal with the public and from their outsourced representatives from Alorica and Arise. The outsourced representatives were the worst because they did not know what to say and could care less about the customer's concerns. Carnival Cruiseline has been unwilling to research to the beginning of the reservation of the cruise to provide the correct refunds. On 06/15/2020, FEDEX delivered 3 envelope with gift cards in the amount 477.40, $125.00 - my deposit, 141.76 which totaled to 744.26. Carnival kept $250.00 for a cancellation fee which ridiculous. Carnival cancelled the cruise then charged me $250.00 that is unacceptable. Carnival isn't equip or prepared for issues like this which is crazy. This company should be able to account for every step their employees take and an accounting department that refund correctly. In addition, I purchased $325.00 in Cruise Cash that was processed in March 2020 but wasn't processed until May 5, 2020. It's processed but I have not received it either.

PMG Contractors - Did not complete Foundation Leveling

On June 3, 2030, PMG Contractors sent a crew over to start leveling my foundation. Chris Tamez originally schedule them for June 4 that caused me to leave a doctor appointment for them to start a da6 early. The crew worked until June 5, 2020 without telling that they would not be back Monday June 8. This company left 6 gigantic holes in my floor and Chris would not tell me when would complete the work. Therefore, I contacted the moving company to bring my furniture back on June 12. He and City brought paperwork/forms for me to sign that stated I needed to leave furniture in storage until Chris completed the work. I intentionally did not select any of the boxes then sign them. Later they went back and altered a legal document by checking the boxes without my knowledge. Since I called the moving company on June 8th and confirm delivery of furniture the morning of June 9th, the forms are null and void. The issues are has 6 huge holes in my home and destroyed my patio.

User's recommendation: Do jo5 use this company for anything.

Carnival Cruise Line - Charge Penalty for Cruise Carnival Canceled

On 05/04/2020, I received an email stating Carnival canceled my cruise on 07/11/2020 - 07/182020. They provided 2 options to select from so I selected Option 2 for 100% Refund. 05/05/2020, I called to find out the amount of the refund and the representative did not know what they were doing. The representatives are telling customers anything for their AHT on a phone call. I spoke to Jonathan and talked over me and ignoring my questions that happens when they do not know what to do. Before I could say anything else Jonathan transferred me to the casino representative. I had to start all over again with this representative. The representatives do not wait for the customer to start telling them what they want instead they start processing items. Later I received an email on 05/05/2020 stating reservation was canceled and the cancellation occurred during penalty period and was charged $250.00 penalty. Carnival is a corrupt company and anyway for them to keep the customer's money they'll doing. They'll be hoping the customer isn't paying attention but I do. I want 100% Refund IMMEDIATELY WITH ANY DELAY!!!!!

Conns - Will not discuss my account with me

Conns will not allow Customer Service nor Billing to talk to me about my current account. Theyre are using tactics to force me to pay 2 - 2010 Discharged Bankruptcy accountsI had a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy that included 2 Conn accounts and an agreement was made with legal dept, my attorney, myself and the judge sign the agreement. I successfully completed my agreed terms with Conns and their attorney with the understanding there would not be any other issues. Due to the excessive calls all day until 9:00 pm everyday starting in 2018, I placed a cease and desist debt collecting phone calls for a Conns in which were not happy about. Conns told me I needed to pay the accounts from the 2010 Discharged Bankruptcy Conns accounts. Of course, I asked my attorney to contact them but they refused to talk to her. I have a current account in which started adding small amounts from the bankruptcy accounts and Ive had to call them every month since January 2019. I review the current account very closely because make changes in the amount due and report between 20.00-50.00 to credit bureau as past due. They setup my account where Billing nor Customer Service will assist me with the account. They transfer me to Recovery Dept which is for charged off accounts. Once they find out it is me on the line theyll tell my account isnt charged off and the cease and desist calls on my records is the reason it is in Recovery. My account is a Recovery so they manipulate my account to reflect a different payoff amount on their side and I cannot see online. It is conveniently restricted by other department for fear the other representative will slip and tell what they are doing. I have been requesting almost to years to place my account in customer service or at least In Billing so they can discuss my account. I request a payment history each month and there discrepancies in the balance verses payment made. Conns is illegally harassing me to pay a bankruptcy discharged account presented to me by their legal staff. They have restricted Access to my account to discuss any issue or concerns. No one will provide any information to me about my account. Ive had to call a Conns for the past 2 years every month without resolution and they will not discuss my account with me. Conns sets up the scenario of manipulating the amount due the report the balance Id the monthly payment to the credit report. By doing this they feel their is enough leverage for them to force me to pay the discharged bankruptcy accounts and re move the cease and desist the excessive calls,

User's recommendation: Either pay cash/credit card or Check into more reputable companies.

Watch your Conns payment and balance history

In April 2010, it was necessary to file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy with Conns presenting me with an agreement to pay off the balance with less interest. On 08/2010, my Chapter 7 was successfully discharged with a successful Conns pay off. In May 2019, Conns approved an extension that month so I resumed my regular monthly payments in June 2019. On credit report, it reflected on-time payment through November 2019. Due the unethical way Conns reports customer's credit, I started monitoring very closely. My credit report reflected $34.00 past due which did not make sense. I called Conns to find out what caused the past due of $34.00. Customer Service representative stated they could not open my account and there were 2 Conns accounts so I asked for a Supervisor. I asked for the account numbers for both accounts and asked the supervisor why was a current account placed in the Recovery Department. The supervisor says the account was charged off which led me to ask why would a current account be in a charged off department. He could not answer the questions then transferred me to the Recovery where I spoke Vanessa. She told my account was transferred to the Recovery Department because there was a cease and desist on excessive phone calls. I told her to cease and desist on phone calls had nothing to do with placing a current account for charge off. She told me I needed to pay the account discharged in 2010 and I said its a violation of the Bankruptcy to assume collection on a discharged debt. Therefore, I contacted the Bankruptcy attorney then she called Conns to find out if there was an error in updating the records regarding the account. She stated they were very rude and would not talk to her until I give them permission to disgust it. I faxed over to them a form to release and discuss information with the attorney but they still would not talk to her. It became apparent that were trying to combine the discharged account and current to get it to pay off. The reason for the $34.00 past due amount was Conns had been deducting a little amount from my current monthly payment to pay the discharged account and placing the balance of monthly payment on the current account. Then they proceed to file a piece of derogatory information on my credit report. I called Conns over 8 times without any resolution so I filed a complaint with both BBB and CFPB. Conns sent a response to them that was incorrect and falsely adding fraudulent information to them. Due to the complaints, conns began changing my credit reports on all credit bureaus to reflect late payments from June 2019 and November 2019 to vindictively deter me from filing complaints again. I disputed the information with each credit bureaus then provided an unlawful justification. The more I disputed the incorrect information the more damage Conns did to my credit. All my creditors report exceptional payment history which balances out the credit score and payment history. It has confused all other creditors present and current pay history so they immediately knew Conns was using my credit report as harassment and pressure me with a discharged account. So if I request more credit with other companies, my Conns information is used to disregard the derogatory information by Conns. They removed the May 2019 extension, therefore, each on-time payment was moved back a month. To this day Conns still tampers with my credit report to pressure me to pay a discharged bankruptcy account. On 01/31/2020, I made a payment where my check and payment clashed so I called to correct it. Again the Conns customer service rep stated they could not open my account then transferred me to the Recovery Department. I asked again why would a current account be placed as a charged-off account. Again they stated I had 2 accounts that included the discharged bankruptcy account. I spoke to Cathy and I asked the payment would not be resubmitted, the answer was no then she took my payment. While on the phone with her, I had my checking account open and their website open to see it. Conn's website reflected the pending payment but my debit Card payment did not show on my checking. I told Cathy which she told me to refresh my screen but I'd closed and reopened 3 times. It wasn't until she realized I was looking at both to see my payment. At that time she processed the payment that actually had not been processed. Recovery Dept. was counting on me thinking the payment was processing to lead to another late payment they justify if there was a complaint. The call ended but I continued to monitor both sites. The payment Cathy processed was cancelled on Conn's website and pending payment in my checking disappeared. I called Conn's customer service then Recovery Department again to find out why the payment was cancelled without my permission. No one had an answer so I had customer service processed the payment again where I saw the payment pending again on Conn's website and pending in my checking account. In addition, I asked for a payment history with balance after each payment. On 02/05/2020, I logged into Conn's account to make sure the payment was still there which showed "Completed" but they have not sent the necessary documentation to my bank to complete on their end. My fear is they want the payment to show completed so I would assume everything was ok. I checked my checking account this morning and it is still pending. The process is if the bank does not receive the information needed to complete the payment it will fall off in 3 bus days. When it falls off, Conns can say the payment did not clear so they can report another past due payment. Conns has become an unethical, devious, manipulative and illegal tactics company that makes them an untrustworthy and scary company to deal with.

Conns - Conn's uses payment extension for negative credit bureau reporting

I've had over 8 accounts with Conn's over the past decade but did not know unethical and illegal tactics they will use on customer until now. I am paying for items destroyed in the 2016 Hurricane but I continued to make my payments. I replaced all the items from Star Furniture at a more reasonable price with quality items. At times customers run into an issue where they need Conn's customer service assistance. In May 2019, I spoke with one of Conn's Customer Service representatives that stated a payment extension was granted. June 2019, I made my payments on-time and every month thereafter on time. In reviewing my credit report from May through November it reflected payments were made on time without any missed payments. Since I am a Fraud Victim, I have a credit monitoring service that notified me of a missed payment of $34.00. I called Conn's but the representative stated she could not open my account which was very odd. In addition, he stated I had 2 accounts, not one which was ridiculous, so I asked for that account number. I asked why wouldn't he be able to open my account to make a payment also. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told my current account was in the Recovery Department and could not tell me why. He, too, stated there were 2 accounts with one charged -off. I asked him what would be the reason to transfer an account to Recovery Depart. He says if an account is charged off for non-payment that did not make sense because the account was current. He gave the Recovery Depart phone number, so I called. I spoke to a Vanessa, provided the information and told me it was in recovery because they had a cease and desist on excessive Conn's phone calls. I told her that had nothing to do with placing a current in Recovery. Vanessa says you have another in the amount of 460.00, and she gave me the same account number. I asked for the open date for that account and it was an account included in 2010 Bankruptcy which was agreed to and signed by their legal person, my attorney and Bankruptcy Judge. Conn's wanted me to pay a discharged account, so they pulled my current account in with it to make me pay it. I called my attorney to clear it up, and they were very unprofessional with then refused to talk to her. As I continued to make my payments, I notice the payment is deducted and reflected in balance but the next day the balance increased again. The Recovery Department was adding little at a time from the discharged account to the current balance without my knowledge or my permission. Legally they cannot ask me to pay bankruptcy discharge accounts. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and they sent the complaint to Conn's for a response. To pressure me more, they went back on my credit report from May December missed payment. Their response to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was I missed the May 2019 payments that were an agreed payment extension. They remove the payment extension to damage my credit, so I would pay the discharged account. I refused to pay an account included in 2010 Discharged Bankruptcy, so I struggled to pay the May 2019 extended payment to bring current. This is an unethical, morally challenged, unprofessional, conniving company that damage customer creditworthiness and other dirty tactics for their bottom line (revenue)
