Better Business Bureau - BBB is a SCAM

I too was one of those consumers who thought the BBB was a government agecy...........impartial watchdog......was I wrong. BBB is the biggest waste of time. Thank God for this type of Forum (Pissed off Consumer) that we all at east can get the word out without having to waste time...........complaining to an agency who is mostly funded on donations from those same companies or business we are filing a complaint on. Instead of taking an impartial stand.............the BBB always ends their findings with "WE feel that the business acted diligent in trying to resolve the consumer s complaint (s).

Scott Volkswagen - Forging Mileage

Consumer Beaware:::.........If you have a used VW and need reapirs or bodywork...........do yourself a favor and find yourself another repair facility. Be prepared to pay for what they deem Maufacturer s VW parts, but they are actually aftermarket. Be prepared for Scott VW not to stand behind their work (warranty). Pay close attention to your service repair record...........noting and making sure the mileage is correct. Many people make that mistake...........without catching it..........you are left high and dry because either the body shop or service department low balled your mileage..........you are out of your warranty limitation. Don t trust or expect much from the owner Brad S. He comes across as the IVY Leaguer in his dockers and button down shirts.............now who he really is ladies and gentleman. In closing.............do not allow the body shop to perform any mechancial repairs...........unless they state in WRITING that they will stand behind those repairs at 1000%. A body shop that does not have a lift...how can you thoroughly inspect and QC a vehicle????

Highly recommend Scott Collision Repair. Manager Ray is hands down the best.

Scotts VW did outstanding body work on our 2013 Jetta Sportswagon.

When we picked it up they had detailed it inside and out. They exceeded our expectations by far.

Total misrepresentation of Scott VW Collision of prior comment.

SCOTT VW - Unethical service and unethical owner

Had GTI repaired (Oct 2011)at Scott VW body shop. Paid for factory parts, but received all after market. Within a week of having the vehicle back; co workers asked me if the hood replaced was new or used, not knowing what they were talking about..........in the sunlight u could clearly see that there were waves in the front of the hood......it seemed as if it was a used hood with imperfections. I was already irked because the hood felt like a tuna can on the highway; thought it was going to just wrinkle. That finally got replaced in January of 2012, a few weeks later the coolant light comes on.........no coolant. (The radiator had also been replaced), the body manager, just refills the coolant instead of looking for possible leaks. (This happened 2 more times), finally dye was run through system and the determination was made that in fact 3 leaks. SCOTT VW does not understand apparently that if a car has front end damage and a radiator was damaged that perhaps they should thoroughly inspect the car to see what other damage there may be? I guess since the shop doesn t have a lift, they don t feel compelled. But they do have a service department in EP, but I guess if they would fix any damage at the body shop, it would take away business from the service department. It was also determined that the grille assembly did not fit correctly, because it was an aftermarket. Mr. Scott again who doesn t stand by his work or warranty, offers me $100 towards a $323, the cost to replace his faulty work. One last thing..........the car went in Oct 2011 with according to the body shop, it had 150,700 when it when back in Jan 2012, it had 150,800, if Mr. Scott is an ethical kind of guy, he would want you to believe that the car was only driven 28 miles in 3 months. But when the car went in January (2 weeks after hood replacement) it had 154,662 miles according to the SERVICE Department, but yet the body shop manager want me to believe that there was no other damage or leaks when the car came in, when it was there, and when it left his shop??
