Cy Fair Vision Care - CY-FAIR VISION (HOUSTON) no customer service and bad business etiqutte
i placed my order of contacts through 800contacts monday and waited for the confirmations to take place as i've done before. my prescription was expired by 2.5 months but hoped my recent eye center would allow the order to process. i received a vmail from Cy-Fair Vision Care office stating the above, my script was expired but they would allow 800contacts to continue with my order. great! then i arrive to my house to hear a message from 800contacts that my eye dr had said "no" to my order via fax and please call back with my updated prescription information. so i call the eye center and hear that no, they faxed in the order with a "YES". so now i'm calling 800contacts and get the nicest and most sincere lady on the phone. she tells the story from there side and it seems that my eye dr's office wrote conflicting statements and circled that my Rx was expired so they naturally cancelled the order. this lady says hold while she calls the eye center and confirm and clear up the confusion. she comes back to the line saying that she's asked for the fax to be resent with a clearer "YES" but continued to reprocess my order in the meantime. now my cell is ringing and it's the eye dr'd front desk lady stating what i already know...800contacts called and so on. she was flustered and huffy as though the fax was adequate and mentioned that the office manager would NOT BE SENDING A NEW FAX requested from the nice lady at 800contacts needed to precess my order. she then tells me that i can order my contacts through them (delivery in 5 days) which i of course know but i obviously ordered them through the Internet to avoid delays, phone calls, and unnecessary pick-ups! ironically! the nice lady, still holding, was beyond understanding and told me she would explain my predicament with a supervisor and ended up getting my contact order approved for me with the original fax. IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS PROPER BUSINESS ETUQUETTE TO TAKE IT OUT ON THE PATIENT THE FRUSTRATION YOU HAVE FOR A 3RD PARTY??? I WORKED FOR 12 YEARS IN DENTISTRY AND NEVER ONCE TOLD A PATIENT I WOULDN'T DO MY JOB OR SOMETHING THAT THEY NEEDED TO BE DONE THAT HELPS THEM!!! I WILL NO LONGER BE PATIENT AT THIS PRACTICE NEEDLESS TO SAY AND LETS BE HONEST...AN EYE DROCTOR IS A DIME A DOZEN! I HOPE THIS COMPLAINT SHOWS UP WHEN EVER SOMEONE SEARCHES FOR THEIR INFOMATION cy-fair vision care in houston texas
