It is not the pharmacy clerks, technicians, or pharmacist to call around for you. They have to deal with a bunch of other duties. You should be happy they called you and left a message saying they don't have it in stock and will order it. You should check your messages and give them a call back to have them call other stores for you. They need time to call other stores because usually they have to attend to every customer that walks in to the pharmacy. Also just because you normally get a certain medication it doesn't mean it's always going to be in stock.

I agree with tcayer. You are just as guilty for making your daughter wait for her medicine just so you can go to work and dad can take his time going to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine. If you were that concerned for your daughters health you should have called work and told them you where going to be a little late so your daughter could get her medicine right away...

My complaint is about the pharmacy and the way it fills prescriptions.

You have to call corporate to take you off of the call list. I used to work for the cvs pharmacy and I hated that call list I too thought it was bothering patients and confusing them as well because a lot of the time they would think the phone call was to TELL them they need the pills but really it's just a courtesy call asking IF they need them filled. Also the technicians and pharmacist don't have the ability to take people off that do not call list which I think is dumb... The company needs to make some changes to their "helpful system" the patient shouldn't have to hang up after being bothered from the technician and make a phone call just to take them off the list. I used to get yelled at several times a day just for calling people. People have to understand unfortunately the employees have to do what the company wants if it was up to us we probably wouldn't do the calls because it just takes away time from assisting patients who are at the pharmacy and need to be assisted right there. You should call corporate and complain about the program .
