New Jersey Lottery - The check I’ve been waiting for since 12/2020 is finally coming to me after numerous complaints, sent emails.

The ticket was a winning New Jersey Lottery Pick 4 box which was played on 12/11/2020 When I first inquired about the claim the NJ Lottery stated that they never received the claim form. Move ahead in time to January 2022 they stated that they found the claim form. How long it was in their office I dont know. However, it looks like they were too proud to admit that maybe they lost or misplaced the form. Privatizing the lottery was a huge mistake by the state. People are winning less and it seems that since NorthStar purchased the company the algorithms were changed so people would win less and they would make more money. How an investigation in 2014 found that half of the 20 most frequent winners were lottery retailers or family members of the store operators.

New Jersey Lottery - Quality of lottery

The Lottery used to fun to play. More than likely you would win or hit a number every now and then However, since they privatized the lottery it seems that the number algorithms have changed and people are winning less and less I think that the company that took it over hired an expert in algorithms and that expert arranged it so folks would win less and the lottery would make more money.

New Jersey Lottery - Failed to pay my claim

After writing to the governor's office the investigator admitted that the original claim form was in their possession. When it got there I don't know.

There originally claimed that they didn't have possession of the claim form.

They stated that the check was mailed on January 24, 2022. As of 2/6/2022 I have not received the check

On 12/12/2020, I played a Pick 4 box and won. I went to the gas station where I played, filled out the claim form with the winning ticket. New Jersey Lottery claimed that they never received the claim and blamed it on the post office I called the office several times and even sent a copy of the claim form to them They told me I would have to wait a year to see if anyone claimed the ticket. Well. a year and 26 days have passed and I still have not been paid my claim. I called the office twice and a gentleman stated that it's still being processed That was last month and two days ago

User's recommendation: Save your money. Their scratch offs are a rip off and their payouts suck.

Verizon - Bad customer service

My bill was $298.06. I requested more time to pay half. Verizon refused They proceeded to shut off the service and then lied and said that they had only cut off the TV and not the internet They cut off both The statement on their website stated that I could make a payment arrangement. Every time I would try to adjust the date for the payment the screen would change it back to 6/10/2021 Not a customer friendly company arrangement arrangement paym arrangement
