AVIS Budget Group - Avis Car Rental Scam, Bad Customer Service

I rented car from Avis Montgomery Rd Cincinnati 45242 location on June 12th 2015. When I reached to pick the car, it was not ready the wait time was around 45 mins to 1 hour. The agreed amount for rental was $374.74. When I returned the car well within the time on June 15th 2015. The lady checked the car inside & outside and asked me that she is going to charge my card for the agreed amount of $374.74. On June 17th when I checked my statement it shows that extra $214 was charged on my card and upon contacting Avis the person replied that the lady to whom I returned the car dont the know the return process, that is the reason I was not informed with everything.

Stanley Warranty - Never trust these buggers

Signed up with them for extended warranty of 2 properties. On Jan 1st Furnace went down. No response to the mail sent to them and when after 50 tries some one picked up the phone and said it ll be taken care in 24 hours, Its been 8 days nothing happened so far. Tried to call them either no one pick up the phone or put you on hold for more than 30 mins & then hung up the line. Received 1 mail from them after 5 days with title "URGENT" someone will contact you soon for appointment. All I want to say Define URGENT & SOON.

Superior Honda Cincinnati - Superior Honda dealer (Cincinnati) bad service

I went for Superior Honda for my car oil change & regular service. When I handed over the car to the service department the 12V point was in working condition and I had my phone on charge which the service person saw. After the oil change & service when the car was handed over to me, the point was not working which I reported right away to the service department. The worst answer i heard from them "we don't know what happened, we never touch this and can't say anything. You have to schedule a service to get this fixed".

Lenovo Customer Service

I placed an order with Lenovo in Dec 2013 and received the product. In March'2014 when i reached out to Lenovo with a problem with the product, Lenovo sent me the return label to send back the product by saying that I will receive a replacement. Throughout the month of April I followed up (almost 11 times) for the replacement product status, but every time heard a different story from the customer service team. Everytime i was provided with a order number and when i followed-up to check the status, the status say order has been cancelled. Then Lenovo rep said the product has been discontinued and I need to choose alternate product which I did 3 times already but till date 05/01/2014, I have no clue what is the status of the replacement product.

Issue with Steve Madden Shoes

I bought the Steve Madden M-Tosh 11 size Men's shoes from one of the retailer in the Cincinnati area on 30th Oct'2013. This morning I found that the lining of the shoes is falling apart. I reached out the Steve Madden customer service for the same, the rep named Monica advised to me to talk to the retailer for the return. I reached out to the retailer for the return, per them I need to bring the box and receipt for the return, they will evaluate and then it is sole discretion of the store manager to approve the return. I didn't saved the shoe box as these are 47 days old shoes now. I again went back to Steve Madden with all the details & the answer I heard from retailer, but no luck. So, I am forced to wear either the ripped shoes or buy a new pair around $70 - 80 in less 50 days of time frame. Seems the shoes costed me almost $1.50 a day.

I placed order for one health equipment online and i got the confirmation that order has been received. After couple of hours i received another mail saying "order cancelled, Out of Stock". When I checked online it is still showing the stock available and ready for placing other order. I reached out to Customer Service, but they were not able to explain neither able to resolve what went wrong where. I am not sure who will help or know the better inventory / stock than Sears employee. They seemed lost with this issue of stock, showing online available and cancelled order.

Sears Western Hill Cincinnati Customer Service

Planned to buy treadmill and after doing some research online found that Sears Western Hill Store (6000 Glenaway Ave, Cincinnati, OH) has 2 Proform treadmill on sale. Called the store and got the confirmation that still available. Drove to the store and found out that 1 was sold yesterday and 1 between the time I called and made to the store. Checked with store rep that it was told me to 2 are available, but now I am hearing different story that 1 was sold yesterday. And Sears website is still showing both available (while I am writing this). The store rep tried to honor the online and reached out to supervisor for the price match on the next model available, but no luck. Just saw the attitude from the supervisor, if you want to buy this one, buy at full price or.....

We will all be much better served when Sears closes it's doors for good. To hurt good intentioned people and use them for their money is a travesty. I don't understand why the legal system can't shut their doors FOR them with compensation for all the hurt and losses they have caused.

Priceline.com Service

I was looking at priceline.com for rental car and found their name your own price option for bidding. The cars without this *** bid thing were available at $34.XX per day, with the bid when I bid for $17.00. it asked me to enter all the information like driver name, address and credit card information. After that it says bid accepted and the final price came as 34.42 which is higher than the cars price regularly available without the bid price. I tried to reach out to the customer service and got the reply they cant do anything, $17 bid is accepted and rest all the extra charges I have to pay. There is no place before this which shows the real price for the rental.

Lowes Customer Service

I placed order on Lowes for Microwave delivery, which was completely messed up. Lowes Delivery company called me that microwave will be delivered on specific 2 hours window on Friday evening, which never happened, just screwed my Friday evening. No one cared to inform me that delivery is not possible, handyman which was supposed to install the microwave over the range was on hold and eventually i was forced to pay him too. Saturday after 15 calls to different people they found that they messed up the delivery and will deliver on Monday. Eventually microwave was delivered with 2 hr window on Monday

You always have a potential for delay on a delivery. You are always better off picking up an item small enough to fit in the back seat or trunk of your car.

Car Rentals - Carrentals.com Price Issue

I booked car with Carrentals.com and the price there e-mails says is different that I actually paid at the rental company. When I asked the rental company per them it is between Carrentals.com and me, they are not sure what went wrong where. And this company does not have any contact number only work through e-mail and eventually they care to reply to my mail that they will work with rental company and let me know. But no resolution to the extra money I paid.I am still waiting for the resolution. Avoid the bait and the scams
