I wouldn’t deal with Midas anymore & I’m telling people NOT to deal with Midas

Update by user Feb 06, 2020

Midas still have not did anything for my car but you “live & learn” I’m stuck with a $1200 bill & now my car sounds like a truck cause Midas took my original catalytic converter & put this garbage catalytic converter on that has my car sounding like a truck just because I wanted my engine light off, but it’s my fault cause friends & other mechanics told me not to deal with Midas & I didn’t listen but I hope Midas get busted by more customers & they get uncovered for this corrupt practices that Midas is doing & duping their customers, but I know if people & other social media websites ask me my opinion about Midas I will sure tell & stress to people NOT to deal with Midas you will be frustrated & used in the end.

Update by user Jan 07, 2020

Midas took my good working original catalytic converter & put this garbage catalytic converter on my car which they welded together & now my car sounds like a truck, WoW! to take working parts off of customers cars & putting substandard parts that’s so really shady business.

I went to Midas 6 different times in 4 month span with my mileage was at 56,600 to 57,000 in those 4 months to get my engine light off it’s over $1200 dollars just to get my engine light off & to this day my engine light is still on, Midas had me paying over $800 dollars for a catalytic converter that I DID NOT need my car always was running smooth & quiet & I just wanted the engine light off & each time I went to them they saw I was using a Midas credit card so they was just going to run my credit card up with a bunch of unnecessary stuff I didn’t need, and I hope they do an investigate of Midas cause I feel so used & mistreated by this company & now they want to mail me a $100 certificate off the next time they service my vehicle they got me for over $1200 dollars & they want to give me $100 back that’s not right at all & I will not be going back to Midas 6 times in 4 months no way I’m afraid that if they touch my vehicle again it probably just fall apart, and I’m telling everybody I know not to deal with Midas they are a very UNFAIR business & you will feel a lot better dealing with another auto mechanic service & I’m still upset just thinking about this & the bill I have & I took my car to other auto mechanics & they told me that the catalytic converter Midas put on my car is very *** & not good work, so now I got a catalytic converter on that I didn’t need my engine light is still on & autozone & o’reilly’s scanned my vehicle & they say I need oxygen sensors & I was thinking that if Midas made me get a catalytic converter shouldn’t they have seen that I needed oxygen sensors which is a lot cheaper than a catalytic converter, thanks Midas for nothing you sure “robbed” me & I hope your company was satisfied with the work on my vehicle cause you don’t have a satisfied customer.

Update by user Dec 10, 2019

Now when I give my car gas it rattles & I took my car to 2 mechanics & they told me I needed oxygen sensors & they told me that the catalytic converter Midas just put on my car 3 months ago is garbage Midas took my good catalytic converter & they put their garbage catalytic converter on my car something I didn’t need Oooo! this crap makes me sick to my stomach I have nightmares just thinking about how Midas robbed & got over on me, I got every right to get a lawyer & get with some more of these pissed off customers & start a class action lawsuit against Midas, I would tell people I mean plead to people don’t take your car to Midas it’s a racket a scam, Damn! I have been to Midas 5 times counting today 6 times for my “engine light ON” & each time I went I paid $208 dollars oxygen sensors, and then Couple months later the “engine light ON” again & then they charge me $485 dollars for coolant sensor & then a week later my “engine light ON” again & this time they charge me $815 dollars for a catalytic converter & another oxygen sensor 2 days later my “engine light ON” again & then they say it’s the thermostat sensor so I wait 4 hours & then just 2 days the “engine light ON” again for the 5th time & this time they it’s probably oxygen sensors they said they only put 2 oxygen sensors & I need 4 sensors & they were trying to charge me more money & now I left your business with my “engine light ON” still ON, this is a racket it’s a scam, thanks for nothing Midas Oh! yeah but you did remind me never to mess with Midas again & I’m going to make sure that I tell everyone I know that this is a con job & that your company screwed & raped I really do feel violated.

Go buy a cheap code reader from Walmart and read the code yourself or bring it to Auto Zone or O'Riley's, they read it for free. That way you know going in what may be the issue. I've got my own beef about Midas too.
