Comcast - HORRIBLE customer service and service in general

My fiancee and I moved in January and decided to drop Comcast TV and keep their internet because it was just too expensive, $140 for HD TV box with recorder and service for only one room plus internet. When we moved we were told there was an internet promotion for $35/mo including the modem rental cost. About 20 days ago we decided to add TV and went with the basic TV because they advertised the basic channels which is all we watched. We have an HD TV but didn't go for the HD box because it was too expensive. The final cost per month was around $90. I started researching other companies and found DirecTV for $35/mo that included TV for 3 rooms with HD receivers and an HD recorder for the main room for free with free instillation. We called to cancel the TV and were told that because we "bundled" our internet would now be paying $70/mo...WHAT?! When we added the TV we were told that they would ADD the TV, not change the way we had our service and we were never advised that the price would change. We were also told that we could change our service at any time, and we were never told that the price for our internet would change. How do they think they can get away with this kind of ***? It feels like fraud and entrapment to me. It's not like their prices are even competitive! When we spoke to the supervisor he repeatedly stated there was nothing he could do to help us. We dropped the TV because we were completely and utterly DISSATISFIED with their service and company, and here they are disappointing us again. Worst company I have ever dealt with. We will not be returning to comcast at any point and I will tell everyone I know NOT to get involved with them. They have so many hidden fees and charges that they do not explain and every time you call about them they do not handle it or they lie and say it has been taken care of. Please avoid them.
