Bay Ridge Subaru - SERVICE REPAIR ***

I brought my Subaru Forester to Bay Ridge Subaru (Beltway) for a recall inspection. Upon completion of the recall inspection, I was informed by the mechanic & service advisor Jacob Chacko, that my car was leaking oil & needed new head gaskets, steering rack repair, & a new timing belt. They estimated the cost to be approx. $2000. Unbeknownst to them, I had head gaskets & timing belt repairs done within the last 12 months, along with a new clutch by my own mechanic. I then brought my car to my mechanic to check it. He informed me that the car was not leaking oil and the information for expensive needed repairs was false. I don't appreciate the underhandedness used by the service personnel to blatantly attempt to rip off the public. I have purchased 2 cars from this business.
