Teddy Bear Portraits - FOUR Cancelled/Rescheduled Picture Days

If you are a director/administrator of a childcare program, please beware. They asked us to move our picture day from a Tuesday to a Thursday for the convenience of the photographer. We complied. Then they called 2 days before the new date to say the photographer was sick and we had to reschedule. Then WE called the day before the next picture day to make sure everything would go as planned and that is when they told us that the photographer broke their leg and we had to reschedule again! We gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. 72 hours before the final rescheduled date WE once again called to the confirm. We got the run around for 2 days and they finally admitted they didn't have a photographer available...but they would work on it. After hours of waiting for a response and Teddy Bear Customer Service not answering emails and our Representative not taking calls, I could not stomach cancelling picture day AGAIN so we scrambled to find a local photographer to fill in for us on the day Teddy Bear was supposed to come. I am so baffled by their lack of communication and professionalism. I am wondering if they just would not have shown up had we not called to confirm ahead of time! I now feel like the "supervisor" handling our account was just lying to us with all these excuses. She doesn't have her voicemail set up and did not follow though on anything she promised. Please go read the Better Business Bureau Reviews/Complaints. This has been the most frustrating experience with a photography company we have ever had. We will not be booking them again.
