G and M Restaurant - Huge Dissapointment !
We "The Family and all it's members " have made G & M our first stop gathering for special occasions for years enjoying every outage at the restaurant until October 12, 2019 " My Wife's birthday " . We arrives as a party of five at 4:15 PM and were seated within 5 minutes ! Our seating was in the dinning room next to the serving desk where the cash register was located in a small alcove ! The order was taken rather quickly and our first disappointment was the omission of a double crab cake order that was mistakenly reduced to one crab cake and that turned out to be a blessing ! Within 25 to 30 minutes the order arrived some of which were already cold . Our first observation of the meal as served was the baked potato's " On 3 separate order's were heated so many times the skin was burned and crispy .The inside was yellow from repeated reheating and the bread rolls were cold and stale ! The crab centers appeared to have about 60% mushy filler in the center with crab leg cutting and the only lump fin addition was on the outside layers of the crab cake ! In addition the baked potatoes had very little taste and were not light and flaky ! The Wife ordered Salmon with direction of no oil or butter and plain broccoli again no oil or butter plain , both were saturated with butter . It was like nobody was listening to our order request. We called the waitress over and complained and She had no suggestion and did not offer to cancel the check for us ! Also there was and interesting scenario occurring as two Chinese " White Shirt " appearing gentleman were glued to the cash register area observing every transaction as if the restaurant had been sold or was about to transfer ownership! That was our last trip to the establishment as there were too many unsolved issue's that no one apparently cared about ! Sincerely, Stan & Lynda Brown Oceanwidetide@***.com
