It's been well over a month & FEDEX has done NOTHING!OOPS; That's not ENTIRELY True; They sent me a nifty cardstocktelling me I could be the Manager of my deliveries...I don't avail myselfof their services much any more, as ONCE BURNED,TWICE LEARNED rings apropos.

The Fact that "organizations" like this one are actually ALLOWED to take advantage of United States Citizens is a stark reminder of how our Tax Dollars have FAILED to secure us from common THIEVES. My Fatherleft Germany when the BROWN SHIRTS took over.

His Brother in Law was part of Von Stauffenberg's Resistance against the NAZIES.NEVER IN MY LIFE could I imagine our somewhat cooperative states of america would approach that same path with a Government that cares NOT for its Citizens.

We are truly both embarrassed & ashamed of this "SLOW-MOTION TRAINWREAK" that so many of the BRAVE have sacrificed their Lives for. Item arrived over 30 days late upon order/payment. Very unsatisfied with this item, so I initiated their return process. However, after several days without any response to my request for return/refund, I am unable to contact anyone either by email or phone.

Ebay - Multiple Failures, False Debits; NO response this Buyer's Needs

As eBay continues to loose both Buyers and Sellers due to both stubborn adherence to bad policies and the increasing on-line competition from other venues such as AMAZON, ETSY,HERITAGE AUCTIONS, etc. during this Chinese "Wuhan Whoopsie" Pandemic that has brought much of our World to its Knees, we are very disappointed to consider limiting our future activity on eBay and possibly close one of our sites; An eBay Store; "GREATSTUFFEVA". Understandably, eBay's Decline has obviously been exacerbated by the COVID-19 Virus. That being said, their I.T. has NOT improved as was promised after eBay closed its on-line Ticket Sales Enterprise. We have experienced way too many glitches on both of our eBay Sites resulting in this, our very first posting on PISSEDCONSUMER.COM regarding "PayeBay,Pal". Recently while on hold with Customer Service in am attempt to have erroneous double charges for numerous listings on our Store Site credited, we listened to The Machine for over 2.5 Hours WITHOUT ANY response from Customer Service. Also, NO Appeals Department appears to exist, NO Phone Contact, even WITH A "ONE-TIME CODE", Absolutely NO Attempt to help/respond in ANY WAY; INCLUDING "CHAT"?!?! Very discouraged to see this "Slow-Motion Train Wreck" starting to speed up. Sadly; There doesn't appear to be any Hope/Light at the end of this Tunnel other than waiting for a "BUY-OUT/Reorganization and/or moving our Efforts to other Venus...

Trying to be brief; We received a Dehumidifier late this Summer from APPLIANCEPALACE.COM under the auspices of Walmart's "Marketplace". The unit arrived with obvious signs of damage due to a very poor job of re-packing an "open-box" unit. So bad was the packing that holes were punched through from the unit's sloshing around inside the box due to missing crucial protective Styrofoam. In conversation with "Levi" at APPLIANCEPALACE.COM I offered to open the box and re-pack before returning in order to minimize any further damage to the unit. Having worked for a high-end Audio Franchise back in the last Century here in Westchester, NY, I had plenty of experience learned the hard way on how to carefully secure expensive equipment for shipping. Levi expressed gratitude at my offer, so I proceeded to make that effort and send the unit on its return journey to New Jersey. Sent on 10/9/20;Received and accepted on 10/19 by "ABE" at Appliance Palace in Cranford, NJ (Proof on file) we were assured of a prompt refund. Now, after repeated conversations with WALMART and their "WALMART MARKETPLACE" Division wherein more assurances were made of a prompt refund; first assurance in "5 business day"; After THAT failed to materialize, another "3 business days" was guaranteed. Once again, not being told the Truth, as NO CREDIT has been made to or Credit Card. At a time when Good People need to come together and be supportive of our Nightmare recovery from the Chinese "WUHAN WHOOPSIE" that has forever (we can only Hope) changed the World, we are very saddened that both Walmart and Levi at APPLIANCE PALACE have failed us in such a glaring manner. We STRONGLY advise that one re-think doing ANY business within these underwhelming "enterprises" without being prepared for a HUGE waste of Precious Time.

After sending numerous hours researching &;;;; finally finding A very scarce, but still available Kayak on AMAZON, the paddle to the very last one available ANYWHERE arrived first; Albeit arrived in an open-box, we were very encouraged that we would be on some Peaceful waters soon! In tracking the next delivery of the actual Kayak from UPS, I tracked its progress daily in anticipation of some joyful exercise, adventure & pleasure during this horrible "WUHAN WHOOPSIE" Covid-19 Plague Event that has hopefully opened the Free World's eyes to both our Reality & our Opportunity to make for a better Future. Finally, the day of the promised arrival came, so we both choose to be outside doing chores so as not to miss the UPS Driver. When I checked my phone, there was a notice from UPS stating that (15 minutes prior to viewing the notice) "The Delivery had Failed". I immediately called UPS & was told the driver would be contacted; A "re-delivery" would be made the same day. It's worth noting that my Husband and I were both near the driveway where neither one of us saw a (hard to miss) UPS Truck enter. We have a very long (1500 feet) driveway where typically the UPS Driver chooses to back out slowly. NO TRUCK entered via our open gate. In fact, we were told by "Percy" (The UPS Agent at Yorktown Heights,NY) that no delivery was actually attempted in the first place. We were told it was simply a "computer generated mistake". Within an hour, we received a call from our Local UPS Shipping Headquarters in Yorktown Heights, NY. "Percy" stated they were "short on drivers today". She added that the box was indeed there at the Ship H.Q; Stating that "The box was very mangled" & that they had "taped it together". Worth mentioning is that she asked "What is in the box?". Percy added we could come & pick it up, as they had no available drivers to make the delivery that day. We told Percy we would come up right away, to which she said the driver was out to lunch;We would have to wait for his return at 3:00 that afternoon so he could retrieve the box from the truck. We drove to Yorktown at that time in order to both inspect & hopefully retrieve the mangled box. When I approached the Gentleman at the Customer Service Desk, he told me he was the driver & that my package was "not there". At which point, I told him Percy had told me to come up when the driver returned from lunch;That my package WAS there. The Driver/ Desk Agent called and spoke with Percy; Lo and Behold; The box was there at the Shipping Center; NOT on the truck. The box was in very sad shape; Truly mangled & appeared to have been tampered with; Re-taped,damaged and opened at both ends (photos on file). I asked if I could look in the box they had tape-wrapped in an attempt to pull it back together. I was denied that option, being told I would have "to sign for the package if you want to look at it; Then it's YOUR problem, not ours". At that point, I called AMAZON for advice. As Fate would have it, a close Friend arrived at UPS. Being a PhD from the World Famous IBM Watson Research Center, she quickly deduced that the package was way too light to contain both sections of this very unique construct that was indeed indicated on the Amazon order/receipt to weigh in at 40 pounds.Percy had indicated during our previous phone conversation that the weight was 29 pounds; One of the 2 sections was missing from the box. The Driver/Desk Agent assured me that the contents were okay; I should simply sign the release & take the box. Fortunately, I refused to take delivery of this dreadfully mangled box, as One cannot paddle half a Kayak! Now, I am left with only a paddle & a HUGE ammount of disappointment.

Sams Club - CHECK THE DATES ON FROZEN MEAT!

Due to Family Health issues, we threw the birds away and have decidednot to purchase such items from SAM'S Club. We have found that BIG BOX Competition has resulted in some Excellent buying opportunities at more of our local stores. We like to support our immediate Neighbors!After filing this complaint with PISSEDCONSUMER.COM we have yet to hear anything from SAM'S Club, so they obviously have no interest in ameliorating the situation.

We bought several cornish hens in Late October/early november which, when cooked tasted considerably more gamey than anticipated....When we actually checked the "sell by date" we discovered they were marked AUGUST. Seems that anything one can get away with in the sad state of affairs (The Roman Empire lasted thousands of years before that Decline) is okay these days....FYI; A friend who teaches 4th grade told us THAT was EXACTLY what he has heard from several youngsters.... New 21st Century Golden Rule?

Etsy - Not enough Humans at the Helm

This is being submitted on behave of dozens of annoyed sellers & my unsuspecting customers; Both whom I value. I noticed the notifications of sales and posting of funds stopped without any warning. I filed a request/query within the Etsy platform & received an automated response that was, to say the least, underwhelming. When this lack of notification continued, I checked Etsy once again & found out I was not alone. In addition, I noticed this was a problem reported over a year ago from sellers with different email accounts.I.E; Made no difference if one was using GMAIL or Yahoo or AOL,etc. No sign of notifications of sales. Spam folders didn't show anything either.So; We're on our own. I am not dependant on sales & find myself very busy working on my property at this time of year, so I didn't check Etsy every day.Upon doing so, I saw a sale had taken place SIX Days ago & the item was to ship today. Checked my email & my Spam folder; NOTHING. i credit Etsy for actually posting my funds to my Bank Account, however; It is neither user-friendly nor good business to be kept kept in the dark without proper notifications at the time of transaction. It's worth mentioning that I also USED TO RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION OF THAT POSTING. It's totally uncool to not be given the opportunity to respond & ship ASAP to my Buyers. Hope Etsy takes this as seriously as we Etsy Clients!

Con Edison - Across the Board; FAR below the mark

Adding insult to injury regarding the recent issues of poor & inaccurate communications; Most specifically here in Westchester County after the recent Heavy Weather, the mishandling of switching systems resulted in several power-out glitches yesterday (Friday;10/12/18) . These irresponsibly handled mini outages wreak havoc on both Computers with lost information & compressor motors in refrigerators, A.C.Systems,etc. We Citizens pay HUGE money to a quasi-monopolistic Company that repeatedly continues to let its Customers down... On a personal note; We recently had to replace nearly ALL of our poles which were DOUBLE MARKED RED by the fine Repair crews who (after Super-storm Quinn earlier this year ) refused to come near these dangerous unsafe-to-clime antique poles. To be clear; Con (job) Ed SHOULD have replaced these over A Decade ago when they actually BELONGED to Con Ed! This was the personification of irresponsibility, primarily due to financial reasons. Adding MORE Insult to Injury; These poles & the system they held were WAY below Code, as they lacked the required transformer to actually provide us (and our Neighbor) with "Clean, up-to-spec-power";Resulting in constant "Brown-outs" & tripped circuit breakers due to the over 1500 foot run to both of our homes. Lastly; the cost of replacing & cleaning up what SHOULD have been a system maintained by CON ED WAS OVER $15,000. What a disastrous disapointment to the Citizens of NEW YORK STATE.
