Factory Expo Home Center - Not what I was promised!

Phase 1 - so the home has been delivered and "almost" has all the upgrades we asked for but some work looks have been a bit sloppy and not that great as there are some walls, windows, kitchen island and lights that are a bit "out of square" or visibly "crooked" and will need to be repaired or adjusted. We also have a tiny door that was placed on the backside of the home that I have to duck to get in and out of so not sure what happened there. Simple cosmetic adjustments purely from what we see so shouldn't be an issue so overall, so far, so good ***July 28th*** 30 day punch list has been turned in. Ball is in Factory Expo/ Champion Homes court now. - My home is missing many upgrades that we initially agreed to in my contract. - Craftsmanship was not that great meaning several sheetrock walls are bowed in or out in areas, floor has raised areas in it, carpet missing and the tile bathroom in my home as compared to the Olivia model on their site is not the same. The tile on mine is crooked, incomplete, the glass is wrong and it looks nothing like the Olivia models tile that they reference onsite. If a project manager was truly overseeing my build then most of this would have been caught. The Olivia model, just as it is on your site is what we jointly agreed to and is what I paid for so dont tell me now, $91k later that I need to settle with this "uniquely crafted UNLIKELY direct comparison" to the Olivia model, as you noted above in your response. ***** Friday Sept 27th ***** So my cabinets that I have been expecting for over 2 months just came and they are wrong. Factory expo is doing the same song and dance and are quite frankly, useless. Factory Expo has my 100k and I'm still chasing them down, 4 months later for basic items that should have been in my house during the original build. My advice to consumers looking to go this route I will tell you this.........AVOID FACTORY EXPO IN LILLINGTON !!! They will promise you a model home (like they show you on the lot) and smile all the way thru the deal up to when they get your money and then they deliver you a half baked version with reduced products such as less cabinets as expected, less tile, carpet etc and then fight tooth and nail to not do any follow up work or make things right. Please feel free to contact me for pictures and more detail if you need and STAY AWAY from FACTORY EXPO in Lillington!

I would love to hear, how much they charged you, for the contractor, & how they itemize the cost... ..
