A And O Munchen Hackerbrucke - A&O München Hackerbrücke - Worst Hostel in Munich

DO NOT GO TO THE A&O München Hackerbrücke! They are the worst. Believe the negative reviews on Yelp even though they're in German. I went to this A&O for a study abroad trip with my university and the first thing the staff inform us is that our travel agent, Worldstrides, did not confirm our booking. Thus the staff not only didn't prepare us a room, they didn't expect us at all. We were able to get the rooms. The noise level of the hostel goes on throughout the night since the lobby is also a bar at night. Even though the rooms are non-smoking, the smokes from outside fumes up to our fourth floor room. The wifi is okay for the first night, but then dwindles as we stayed several nights after. Breakfast sucks. Only cold cuts, bread, and fruits. I got a diarrhea the first day after eating those cold cuts at breakfast. Worst yet, they charge 10 Euros for breakfast. The housekeeping was the worst. The housekeeper do not automatically replenish your towels. You will have to ask the lobby/receptionist for the said towels every day. I guess it's because towels aren't included with all the rooms and they charge two Euros to get a fresh set of towels. Oh and the rooms are usually filthy after we come back, as if housekeeping did not even bother cleaning up. At least the bed sheets are folded somewhat. The only positive thing about this hostel is the 10 Euro per night price and the wooden floors. The bed was comfy enough to sleep on. There is no A/C or fan in the room, enough German styled electrical plugs but no USB connection ports, and the TV is all in German. The TV is about nine inches on the wall. Windows must be opened, otherwise, there is no air circulation. Overall, just spend your money at the Citadines next door or check into a Hilton. Don't ever waste your 10 Euros at this A&O.

Chuns Seafood And Grill - BEWARE!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

Beware of Chun's Seafood & Grill (Address: 9355 Kearny Mesa Rd. San Diego, CA 92126, next to the Holiday Inn Express). They previously were a Chin's franchise (which is one of the best Chinese franchised restaurants here in San Diego. Then suddenly the franchisee sold their business to a new owner and they refuse to continue their franchise with Chin's. Chun's they named it in order to mislead unsuspected eaters. The food was okay with ridiculously lower prices than that of comparable Chinese restaurants. Here is the catch/scam. They forcefully add a gratuity of 18%. Yeah, you heard me right, no matter if you are 1 person or 16 people, you will still be forcefully be charged the 18%. When you complain to the manager, he will try to persuade you that it is written on the menu and that California state law permits restaurants to add gratuity. True, however, the menu is in fine-print, printed on the bottom and clearly states that Chun's has the right to add 15% gratuity on parties of 6 or more. By luring unsuspected customers with lower than average prices and the goodwill of the previous Chin's franchise location, they scam customers in forcing them to pay 18% gratuity. Again, they scam and fraudulent add 18%. I have heard adding 15% for large parties (such as 6), but I have never heard adding 18%, regardless and practices are contrary to what it is clearly written in the menu. Bottom-line, don't ever visit the conniving location of Chun's Seafood & Grill in San Diego. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH FORCED GRATUITY/TIPS!!!

Asian American Association Telecom Services

Asian American Association Telecom Services (AAATS) is a company that some how appeared in my life. I have AT&T since I moved to San Diego (for about five years) and have no problems with any third-party communications companies. For international calls I always use a calling card to place these calls. About six months ago this company called Asian American Association Telecom Services (AAATS) started to bill me for calls I have never made. Those calls were actually made during the time my spouse and I were out working and the kids were at school. After a few more attempts in framing me saying I owe them all the charges from July up to this point they start calling me and saying they will refer me to a collection agency if I don't start paying these "bills" to them by the 22nd. So, AAATS is a scam and want to frame an innocent person to pay for charges that were not even legit in the first place.
