Overstock - Ordered 2 Chairs, arrived damaged and not as pictured...charge to return was over $250.for shipping

I ordered 2 chairs from Overstock, when they arrived they were damaged,both wobbled and would not sit properly on the floor. They were not as seen in photo as the arms were all around to the front, photo does not show the sweeping wrap. I contacted them to let them know about the damage. I was advised the shipping cost for the return was approximately $250.00. The chairs were $250 each to purchase. There is no opportunity to speak to anyone, all communication is via emails. I decided to keep the chairs and attempt to repair them myself by shaving the legs to match each other to stop the wobble.

User's recommendation: Be very sure you like the item because it is VERY costly to return even if damaged.

Daniels Energy - Customer Service

A customer of Daniels for more than 20 years. This year they failed to provide me with an update and contract in July. I called this month inquiring and learned they use email for notices and mispelled my name in the email. I am now paying almost $1000 for oil this season. No follow up, no apology just saying this is the email on file. As a side note the email from prior years had no problem getting to me as long as it is used correctly

FitNation by Echelon - Product not received

Order a Fitnation exercise bike that on line was available. Inquired a week later for shipping date and was advised that it would be 4 weeks to advise when it will be shipped. I asked for a refund since nowhere on the site is the 4 week waiting time listed. It was needed for medical reasons. No reply, No refund, No shipping information 3 weeks later.

User's recommendation: Poor customer service and no product availability but the funds were withdrawn for payment.

American Airlines - AA takes money for desired seats and does not provide seat

contacted company again and agent told me that they do not guarantee the seat assignment event if it was a paid seat assignment. American Airlines is not the company they were before USAir put all their personnel at the top.

They do not care about the customer or developing a relationship to keep the customer coming back. As a Platinum customer I will be taking our company's business elsewhere

On May 6th travelled on AA for flight booked in advance and paid extra for desired aisle seat assignment. Connecting flight on time and proceeded directly to gate. Boarded and told my “PAID” seat was given to someone else, no apology but told to sit in widow seat. Requested refund for the extra charge from AA. Was advised seat not guaranteed. So it seems that American Airlines knows how to take money for extras on flight but feel they don’t have to provide what was paid for in advance. This is dishonest and simply taking money like a thief.

Coach - Does not stand by warranty and product

Received beautiful leather gloves and the lining is detaching from the inside. Warranty states one year replace or repair. I sent the gloves to Coach and the reply I received was that they were not reparable, we are sorry. The letter contained a note that I can take...

After writing my registration numbers #UOJ-10619 for peeling and strap issues to a model also with strap stitching issues got a call claiming my bags that I paid $20 a piece for repairs may not be returned to no registration numbers ??? got receipts for repairs with registration numbers but no manager was there.Young incompetent workers going back for refund and my Coach bags to get a real repair from a tailor.No time for idiots who can't do their jobs.
