Star Furniture - Worst Customer Service Ever

This was my first time shopping here. We bought a very expensive "solid wood" table and were told that the protection plan covered absolutely everything. So we purchased that and bought two extra arm chairs for the table. We have had it less than a year now and last week my 4 year old son was sitting in one of the arm chairs with his arm resting on the arm rest and kind of leaning on it and the arm broke off. My 4 year old - nothing out of the ordinary, not climbing on it, not a grown adult, my 4 year old. I filed a claim and was told that broken wood is not covered under the protection plan. The protection plan is with a third party company so I called Star directly and spoke with customer service and a manager and they said they won't do anything about it. They could refund my protection plan money but I wouldn't have it any more and this is the SECOND time I have had something break on this table in the 11 months we have had it so I didn't want to do that. (the first time was when one of the stoppers came off of the bottom of a different chair and put gouges in my wood floor). Beware when purchasing furniture from here, I have always heard their furniture was quality and they had good service but I will never shop here again.
