Quicken - Known software defect NOT FIXED

I notified Quicken of a software defect 2 years ago and they agreed that it needed fixing. Quicken does updates/fixes regularly and still have not fixed it. Finally, September 1st I wrote the CEO, CTO, and VP of Customer service. CEO indicted it would be fixed, however, no fix but there have been several updates since. I pay for SAS and resent that they have known of the problem and have not fixed it. Looking for replacement program...

Aetna Medicare - Childproof caps and inability to quote rx price correctly

Never have I worked with a company so ignorant. I requested NO childproof caps and they can't honor that. They sent me caps that would not fit even if I could open the bottles. What do they not understand? Plus they quoted a price that I asked 3x if it was the correct Rx pricing. They listened to the recording and admit they quoted it wrong.

Aetna Medicare - Childproof

This is the most difficult and ignorant company I have ever dealt with. They cannot send my Rx without childproof caps but they will send me caps that DO NOT fit the bottle. And they don't see the problem. And they are charging me 60x what I was quoted. They even went back and listened to the call and agree they quoted the wrong price even after I asked to confirm the price 3 times. DISHONEST

Aetna Medicare - Poor customer service

First, I found on their website a price of less than $3 for my Rx and called to confirm was quoted a price of less than $3 for my Rx. I was billed $129. They even pulled the call records and agreed that the representative gave me a price of less than $3. They charged me $129 anyway. Second, I asked for NO childproof caps. My Rx came with childproof caps anyway. It took over 50 minutes on the phone to get childproof caps for my order.

User's recommendation: think carefully if want to spend so much time and energy dealing with them and their lies.

Medical Alert - Deceptive up-selling and no support

First Medical Alert (MA) tested our phone line and it worked. MA was going to send me the info via email. I received an email but nothing was included so I emailed him back but he never responded. He did tell me they work on commission and to call him if we wanted one. Called a week later and they tested the phone line again and it will work. We ordered a device for $19.95 month, 1 month free if we pay for 1 year advance. We also paid for expedited delivery ($219.45 + $25 for delivery). The device was received but was missing phone cord so they gave us 1 month credit. Then I discovered that they started charging us as of the date of order, not when we got it working. Once I got the phone cord and tried it, it did not work once put in test mode (kept saying emergency) and there was no one at the service number. I asked for a return call when they open at 8am. No one called me back. So I called and the first person I talked to did not understand what I was saying that it was not working. Called back again and we went through the setup and it is not working. She asked about cell service since I was on my cell phone. She said she would send us overnight, no charge, a cellular one. I asked about monthly fee and she said it would be the same $19.95. They are not charging what as promised but $22.95; and every time we put it in test mode to test the device, it is not in test mode. I suggest they put a service call in and no one ever calls back. They also send the bill to the wrong address even though we were very clear where we wanted the bill sent. Bottom line, they upcharged us when the device did not work even with 2 test working and we agreed to $19.95. Very deceptive, dishonest, and unprofessional. The device test never works as a test but as a Help call so the device is still defective. No one ever calls from service to solve the problem.

Intuit - Quicken 2016

I called Intuit because the computer I use for financial records is NOT connect to the internet - only way to be sure my financial info is NOT compromised it to not connect. I was promised a call back - no call. I called again before closing time but was on hold 45 minutes and it was then after closing time, no one ever picked up after over 1.5 hour. You MUST have an internet connection and I do not trust them as they have been hacked before. The supervisor did not understand why I would not connect. I am returning the software and will never use an intuit product again.

I have notified Trip Advisor of this behavior and have gotten no response. Comcast sucks

Comcast gave no notification they were changing stations to me, although the CS rep said they did. Then they promised I would have the box required in 3-5 days. The good news was the boxes were "free." They did not even ship it for 4 days so now it has been over a week and I have movie night at my house, nothing has been recorded and we can't even watch what we want "live". CS rep was rude, and did understand what I was saying. Supervisor, same thing, I should have known when I not longer got a channel. I record and often it is several weeks before I watch something. I am looking into dish - anyone have any suggestions.

FTC hits Comcast CEO Brian Roberts with $500,000 fine. So what he makes over 30 million per year.

Brian needs to reread the Comcast code of conduct where he tells employees he will not tolerate dishonesty from us. Why is he on Obama's jobs council? He should be fired. Do as I say, not as I do.

Obama's slogan about "change you can believe in" should really be "the more things change the more they stay the same".

It's worse being an employee. At the Lynnwood, WA call center a fat sup named Kim Edwards sent an email requesting off the clock work. We are winning a class action lawsuit against them. Our lawyers are experienced and successful at winning this kind of case and we have the evidence.

Comcast thinks that hiring a Perkins Coie lawyer will intimidate us. It just proves that they know they are going down and have a lot of money to waste.

I call this story bogus. Comcast mails out a letter letting you know the channels are changing and what the new channels lineup will be.
