Select Home Warranty - This company refuses to Repair or Replace my Dishwasher

I called this company to repair my in home dishwasher. There was no follow on the repair, I knew then I was in trouble.

After calling and sending several emails I spoke to a lady saying they would give me a check for $100. My service fee was $90.

All I am asking for is Select Home Service Repair or Replace my dishwasher and give me my payment of $525. A new dishwasher for my home is in the neighborhood $800 - $1000.

After proving to me this is a company that is giving me the run around, bait and switch and their failure to perform.

User's recommendation: Future customers, please think twice before using this company. For me I keep getting the run around.

Absolutely nothing has changed since I posted my initial complaint. Yes, my wife and I have made repeated calls to the appropriate channels and yet to no avail. This is a company who will do exactly what they want to do and when, regardless of all complaints.

I have been a United Health Care customer now for several years I have had little complaints. This year (2022) UHC changed their vendor of choice to First Line Benefits. Here I can order medical supplies totaling up to $40 per quarter. I placed an order in early April, today after placing many, many calls to both, I have not received my order. All I do receive is lies and games, enough is enough.

Silverleaf Resorts - Unfair Pricing for Bonus Time

I am very upset with the pricing of Bonus Time. Right out of the blue Silverleaf decided to charge extra money for the use of resorts in the program. We have had our two weeks in the family for 20+ years and this is the worse situation ever. We pay lots of money for the so called maintenance and yet most of the units are is dire straights of repairs and cleanliness. Now they want more money. I have heard many rumors that Silverleaf is renting out our Presidential units to the general public. OK, so outsiders come and reck the place and the owners have to pay. This is absolutely outrageous.

Silverleaf Resorts - Take Action Immediately

With all the complaints about Silverleaf and their unfair tactics, please notify your State Attorney General. They are telling me that when they receive a sufficient number of complaints they will investigate. Please keep the momentum going, notify the AF now.

Silverleaf Resorts - Unfair Incremental Fees

On Monday, December 17th we received a letter from Pat Connally, President, Silverleaf Club. In this letter he tells owners that an incremental fee will be charged on members who use bonus time during Sunday thru Thursday of $25.00.

An additional fee of $50-75 for Friday and Saturday. Let me be clear, this is in addition to the already yearly maintenance fee in excess of $1200.00.

When I signed the contract there was no mention that at any time Silverleaf could charge a "Utilization Fee" at will. This is extremely unfair and I would expect Silverleaf remove these fees in the spirit of timeshare ownership.

Silverleaf is owned by Holiday Inn, and this is not the spirit Holiday Inn has operated in past years. Again, these fees are very unfair.

File a complaint with the Attorney General in the state you live in. You can also file complaints with the Attorney General in the state the timeshares are located.

Remember, Silverleaf started in Texas, so make sure you file there, too. A lot of upset Silverleaf owners are already doing this. The more complaints the Attorney General gets about this, the better. He is more likely to look into the problem if 100 people file than if only 10 file.

Put as much information as you can in your complaint. Also, anything that has affected you personally.

I will definitely file the complaints including BBB in texas and other states... this is unjust and unfair ...

so we are basically paying again ... after we paid for the purchase....... I wonder if new owners are paying their Timeshare every month PLUS paying to Use it .... HOW CAN THAT BE A DEAL ....

We have learned About all of these fees a few days ago just like everyone else. We have owned since 1993 and are very upset that all of a sudden we are having to pay for bonus time that we may only use once every other year.

We do not use our weeks and always just let them go back to them but continued to pay the maintenance fees every month. I am done! A class action lawsuit would be great and maybe That would show them it would be less expensive to leave them bonus weeks alone instead of going through a lawsuit and losing more!

Count me in the lawsuit!! The original contract says NOTHING about changing it!!!

Monarch Dental, poor customer service.

On this date I called Monarch Dental in Lewisville, Texas to schedule an appointment for next week any day. The lady said she was busy and would call back shortly to provide a time and date of the appointment. I called Monarch at precisely 8:30AM on November 18th, 2011. I called once again at 12:15PM as a follow up, they still could not provide a date and time. It is now 2:30PM, same day and they still have not called me back to schedule the appointment. These people do not care about their customers and certainly do not comprehend customer service. Shame on them.
