Travelers Insurance Company - No phone customer service and surprise billing

Travelers Insurance Company - No phone customer service and surprise billing
Travelers Insurance Company - No phone customer service and surprise billing - Image 2

After getting a full quote from my insurance agent, and paying the full quote,, the company my agent signed me with sent a spam text message to respond to quickly for some intellisense. I didn't even know travelers was the company I had.

I deleted it. Then I got an additional bill for $147 on their website with NO EXPLANATION. It took my agent 3 hours to find out, it was for not accepting their intellisense. Now, let me restate : I was given a FULL insurance quote and then the company billed me after the fact for some service through extremely unethical means.

I could send lots of text messages telling strangers they owe me money.

Get it? Are we getting it yet??

My anger is regarding my denial for a much needed surgery. Very scandalous.

The whole lot of them that works in that "love money" industry. From the Employer, Attorneys, Doctors and definitely the State. Oregon in my case. Everyone got their piece of some unseen pie and I'm left with two verified tears in my shoulder Travelers own Doctors denied.

Love your filthy money! But you can't take it with you when you meet your Maker!

magicJack - Unbelievably No Credibility or Legitimacy

Updated by user Jun 02, 2019

Have not heard from company by either letter or e-mail for call. I did request a credit from credit card which has given me the credit while the charge is under review.

If it does ot come back with it re-charged, I will so acknowledge. The dignity and disrespect can't be paid for anyway that I know. News shows tell you to always read the fine print. Imagine if you had to read the fine print for everything on the web.

How many lifetimes? The news shows suck.

This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in my life. They have customer service trained to ask a series of questions to try to trip you. You give the number. You give your name. You give your address. You give your zip. You give your e-mail. Please hold on. Gotta talk with manager. Holding, holding, holding. New series of questions to try to trip me up. We will review. You will review????????? You are charging me for a number I don't know on a device I don't have. What is to review? I am so, so, so, so, so, so, so, sorry to anyone I may have told this is a good service. Once you lack any integrity or honor, you become an illegitimate company. I could say a million more things about them they suck so bad but, I don't even want to waste an iota more of time.

Commerce Insurance Has No Credibility Whatsoever.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Whether you are filing a claim or responding to one, this has to be the worst company ever. Here's the story; I was backing out of a space, already in motion, but I couldn't yet see past the car next to me.

This kid was riding too close in the line-I hit the brake as fast as I could to no avail. The kid should have seen me before I could see him,, but he was obviously an inexperienced driver. There was minimal damage to his car....the very front....meaning he was coming up on me....meaning he could have seen me. He filed a claim and his insurance, Commerce, sent me a form to fill out.

They called me and asked for a synopsis and said fill out the form and they'd get back to me. They never did. They became judge and jury on their own and just made me the bad guy. For that reason right there, I would say to NOT fill out their *** forms.

They become judge and jury anyway. Why bother? And! they don't tell you or call you.

Eventually I was found at fault because I was leaving a parking spot. rule # made it up. Now the kicker: My wife HAD Commerce, AND, had the same thing happen to her, but in reverse. A kid leaving a parking space in a parking lot sided her car and THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT.

Cost her $3000.00 This company just does what they want. Maybe they flip dice or something. Maybe their not too bright.

Maybe they do as they see fit, which in any case, means they're just plain bad. Avoid them like plague.

Continental Airlines - Continental and Southwest Say The Customer Is Wrong!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I n this article by Huffington Post, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alexander-kjerulf/top-5-reasons-customer-service_b_514****.html Both Continental Airlines and Southwest Airlines say they value their employees over their customers. Their employees are now free to give you the same rude service you haven't enjoyed much. What it really boils down to is they wish to offer no customer service whatsoever. Because some customers may be rude, (and the employees are always pleasant, especially those ignorant young retards that have no respect for their elders whatsoever, they don't look you in the eye, they don't even acknowledge you.) Never occurred to their CEOs how disrespectful it is for one of their younger workers to insult one of their elders--incredibly hurtful-nevermind that they just may, in fact more than likely knowing most places nowadays, BE RIGHT! If they want you to take your hat off-they can easily say it interferes with their employees? That IS BULL.

Angies List - I Don't Love You Angie

This situation is a few years old, but after seeing more of Angie's lying-*** commercials, it needs posting. After going through bad vet after bad vet down in the Atlanta area, I used Angie's list to find one. Somehow, after a number of tests on my dog, the vet could still tell me NOTHING DEFINITIVE. Yet, the bill was close to $800.00. Eight HUNDRED dollars and I got nothing. I went on Angie's and blasted this vet. My critique was the only one for this vet. Yet, not even a week later, another critique showed up telling how wonderful this vet was. A couple month's later, I checked again and the same two critiques existed for this vet. I called Angie's and asked if they didn't find that a little suspicious. They gave me a bunch of bolly about how others are entitled to their opinions, too. Nice. They completely missed my point, though intentionally. Is it not suspicious? You decide. If you want to pay Angie's, you can still see only the same two critiques, (I'm making a really good guess, but I'll bet you). An email to Angie's also got me nowhere. You can pay for Angie's but, it's a complete waste of money.

This site much better than Angie's list

Guest

I called and reported some reviews I thought were questionable and they just argued with me.

Guest

Angies list lost all credibility in my mind when they started booking work for contractors. They can't offer independent reviews and act as a booking agent as well.

Good point. Can anyone say, uh, conflict of interest?

Watch how fast your doctor says it if you try to offer him/her contract services. They don't want to get caught in that debacle.

Guest

Another thing to note is there IS nasty little companies that probe the web looking for bad juice on companies and trying to rid or reverse it. Naturally, their services are engaged. Anything to hide the truth.

Guest

I asked them to check some reviews I found questionable and they refused

Yes, you, me, and lots more. Now, it acts as if it's an advertising source for businesses because I'm starting to see advertising like 'favored on Angie's List.' They have their advertising.

You and I have word of mouth. Use it often.

Magnuson Hotel of Kennesaw Plays Dumb Instead of Honest

This hotel was booked through bookings.com I know what you're thinking. Trust me, my lesson is learned. These 3rd party deals suck, I'm sorry I ever did them. Honestly. A glitch caused my request date of June 16 to show up as July 16 because I made the reservation on June 16. (bookings.com denies this...surprise, surprise.) I showed up at the Magnuson hotel. They wanted an extra $15.00 per day for the dog and I didn't accept that. The woman at the counter said she would cancel and the cancellation had to go through bookings.com. Now, when you use bookings.com after the booking is done, you get a confirmation needed email. I didn't confirm it. You get no further emails. So when I received an email from bookings.com that said 'no show' I wondered 'what the?' Magnuson Hotel claims they have no record of cancellation. Why would I show up there on June 16? Again, they claim they have no record of it. I made another reservation on the 16th and stayed there but Magnuson kept my booking there active and charged me for it on July 16th. They claim they have no record of it. They claim they don't know who worked that day. Indian families run these hotels. Of course they know who was on duty that day. PERIOD. Both companies KNOW at the very least, this was an oversight on someone's part. It was their's but since I can't prove it, I guess it's mine. Remember the slogan, 'the customer is always right.'??? Magnuson told me the bookings.com charges the card, they do not. bookings.com told me Magnuson charges the card, they do not. What is clear is they would rather waste your time than give you your money back. Money NOT EARNED. There was no service given. I got nothing from this. Nothing. I run a business. If I give a customer nothing, I expect nothing in return. This is not any capitalism I want to be associated with. This is theft. This is stealing. People go to jail for theft. Are companies people??????? Magnuson Hotel needs to go to jail.

Motel 6 Manager An Outright Deceitful Liar

This Motel 6 was located in Frederick, MD. It was strange that they wanted not only my ID, but my passenger's ID? When I got to my room, I noticed the large amount of people outside their rooms with groups and groups of running, ranting, unruly kids and teens. I went to get some ice because the room had no fridge. The ice machine did not work. I went to another ice machine but keycard did not work, (notice I mentioned that you needed a keycard for the ice machine). The same girl at the desk asked for my ID again, the one I just saw a few minutes ago. My guess is several wards of the state must live at this hotel or something. Why? You ask why? Because during the night, the middle, not one but, three fire alarms were pulled. They were so loud they could be heard several miles away. After listening to my ears getting shattered for 2 hours, I went down and demanded a refund. I was asked to fill out a form and come back in the morning. Are you kidding? I went back and listened to this ear-shattering nonsense for another two hours. I got no sleep with more than 500 miles of travel the following day. I went in waited and waited for the manager. The manager said she could do nothing because it was booked through Hotels.com. (See Hotels.com complaints). She gave me her card and said to ask Hotels.com for the refund and to call her if there was any problem. I contacted hotels.com who said this manager confirmed no such thing and they were sorry. The manager's name is Klaire Reynolds, Relief General Manager, Hotel 6, 999 W. Patrick Street, Frederick, MD. 21702. Her email is m62016bo@***.com. Her number is 301662****. Klaire did you tell hotels.com you did no such thing? Klaire, if you did that, you are an outright deceitful liar.

You know what is a shame, that you are acting immature. I know you are only eleven years old but still, even at 11 you should know better.

Anonymous

Your complaint would be taken more seriously if you knew the difference between a girl and an adult. I am sure they hire adults and not girls due to child labor laws.

Since it appears that the "girl" was working after 11pm most likely she is over 18 and not a girl.

If you do not know the difference between an adult and a child perhaps you were mistaken by what the manager told you. Being mistaken about what you are told does not equal to lying.

You know, I can't remember. It could've been a bowuh, like you, bowuh.

I don't expect places that house thugs to give a *** about child labor laws. You probably work there, don't cha bowuh?

Call Guest services and tell them what happened. I don't know if that property is a corporate or franchise.

If it is a franchise then call corporate and see if they can help. Most of the franchisees don't give refunds for any reason. Once they have your money they keep it. This is a serious problem to me at least and corporate does nothing to stop or even curb this practice.

They seem to let the franchisees do what they want which makes it much harder for the corporate properties and their managers. I know its time to stand up to this new company Blackstone. They seem to be raising prices and not fixing anything. I would say its the managers at the properties but I travel a lot and its very common at most of the properties I have stayed.

The carpet, beds, bathroom, outside and other things are dirty. I stayed at property 1140 a corporate property and the bed in the room looked like someone died on it. I am not happy to say the least. The rates there were way off for that dump.

I would have still have a problem if it was free. Motel 6 has not replaced beds in most properties in almost 20 years. They go in and give a face lift but leave the nasty old beds. I suggest every one stop spending their money there or ask for a refund every time.

I am positive in most cases you can find a reason to get a refund if you look. Just pull the bedding up and look and I bet 9 out of 10 its nasty and old.

The idea of raising prices and not making rooms better is disgusting and a scam to me. They will milk every dollar they can then sell it like Accor did and maybe to an unsuspecting company.

Thanks Gene. I'm not interested in a refund from them.

It's like inviting yourself to play a game no in their right mind wants to play. It's the sad, sad state of affairs known as customer service today.

This company shares its shameful practices with many. But, the more of us that acknowledge these shoddy acts, thee more it lands back in their faces.

I could be wrong. Maybe that's when they raise their prices for their lousy services and products. That's the only answer for the greedy.

They blame it on the inflation they create.

Hotels Com - Hotels.com is a third-party ripoff scheme

When do you lack legitimacy? It happens when your customer service on the backend sucks. It happens when your customer service is structured to dismiss any and all concerns on the backend. What is the backend? The backend is after the sale. The backend is after money is in pocket. Once money is in pocket, you mean nothing to them. I booked a motel on hotels.com that came up on a search like it was within a few miles of my route. When I actually tried to get there, it was more than a few and all back road. The motel itself sucked, it was nothing like the ad, and full of hoods and jokers the state doesn't know what to do with. A gang of them pulled, not one, four fire alarms in the middle of the night. They would've woken anyone 30 miles away. They did not get these things shut off for over 3 hours. I complained to the hotel after listening for 2 hours and said I wanted OUT. They had me fill out a form and said refund in the morning at checkout. I went to do so and they told me I would have to contact duh duht duh duht duh dah! Expedia? Oh, hotels.com. I even received the managers card, and she said respond to them, if I did not get satisfaction. After be-LABORING the long, long, long recorded phone ***, ***, stink, I got some *** who dismissed my claim like I was a nuisance. Moral of the story: Deal directly with hotels whenever possible, and remember this story if you think it's not worth the time.

Netspend or Turbo Tax?

Turbo Tax offered a debit card within their tax software that has NetSpend as the PREDECESSOR. They cancelled all usage of the card without notifying. Now I have a very large balance that I've been waiting for for months. Trying to get an answer as to when my balance will be refunded has cost me several hours via the telephone with NO ANSWERS as to when I'll be refunded and barely got my IF answered, which I won't believe until I get refunded. They claim too many refunds overloaded their system. In the day and age of the modern high-speed computer world, that is neither believable or acceptable.

The problem was resolved within a reasonable time after my complaint.

Why must it reach this point? Let people get stressed and perform endless activities until they get something they should've gotten in the first place?

These company's do Not care about their customers. :cry

John N Mzy

You said Netspend is the "predecessor." Predecessor to what? You also need to get a bank account next time you file for your Earned Income Credit.

Netspend

We apologize for the problems you have experienced with your tax refund and our service. We can assure you that we receive thousands of deposits a day, and this would not have any affect on your refund.

Please send your information to feedback@netspend.com and we will look into this for you.

Thank you,

NetSpend
