Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Aberdeen - WRONG OIL PUT INTO MY BRAND NEW CAR
I booked an appointment with Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram located at 11049 US 15 501 Aberdeen, N.C. 28315 on 7/5/2019 @ 8 a.m. I schedule to have my 1st oil change for my 2019 Chrysler 300. It calls for full synthetic oil which I previously verified with the dealership before completing the online appointment. When I arrived at the dealership the young lady pulled up the appointment and told me that I was not correct and the oil was 5W-20 oil for 2019 Chrysler 300. The young lady sitting in the front to the right when you walk in was so sure that she was correct that she had me to walk out with her to pop the hood of my car and read what the cap said. I again told her that is not what the dealership had previously told me. So she said trust we trust me it is 5W-20. I said well this is your profession I will not argue with you. The service was completed in a timely manner. I proceeded down the highway and noticed the car was running very ruff. Which I have NEVER had any problems with my car. The car even cut off while it was on and running. The car began running worse as time went on. So I called back to the original dealership that the car was purchased and gave them the VIN number for them to verify the correct oil. They verified that in fact it is FULL SYNTHETIC OIL **NOT** 5W-20 OIL. I called and made a report with the corporate office. I then called the location in Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Aberdeen, N.C. who did my oil change and spoke with the Service Department Manager Kerry Blevins and explained to him what happened. Mr. Blevins had the nerve to tell me that my car probably cut off because of something else, it had nothing to do with the wrong oil being put into the car. OMG I HAVE NEVER...I MEAN NEVER HAD ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR!! MY CAR IS NOW RUNNING RUFF!! I EXPECT TO HAVE A REPLY IN REGARD TO THIS MATTER.
