Verizon - Dropped Wi-Fi . . . unacceptable -- but STILL charged a fee when I cancelled.
I have been a Verizon Fios customer for over 10 years. Extensive services -- home phone, high speed internet, and full cable. Called to inform them that my Wi-Fi was spotty at best, and that I'd like to have it fixed. Was told there was nothing they could do about it. So I changed services, and when I called to cancel, was told I would have to pay an early termination fee. Escalated to a manager -- Kim -- who was a bit rude and condescending, but bottom line was that she indicated they don't guarantee Wi-Fi and that she couldn't waive the fee. I'm extremely frustrated. Cancelling either way -- but will inform anyone who is interested that Fios is not a service you should subscribe to. You can do better.
