I, as a business owner, HATE, HATE, HATE! the "Choice Priveleges," especially the "Rodeway Inn: on Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA., reservation process for the sham that it is: for business customers, this is the most deceptive and misleading process imaginable. As a business owner, I will take it on as a personal mission to alert other businesses that they may make a reservation for their working out-of-town employees, they may be promised that the reservation is confirmed, they will be promised that the credit card on file will be used and is authorized, and that their employees need only show up with proper ID...BUT: then, they will confront "Chandu Patel"...manager of the Rodeway Inn on Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, who will then tell your employees: YOU CAN"T CHECK IN...and he will cancel their reservation (Confirmation Number: 4269****, Reservation Status: Reserved). The main reservation head office of the "Choice Priveleges" corporate office called "Chandu"...but he argued with them (so I was told) and my employees then had to pay out of their pockets, because the owners weren't physically on site????? I am preparing a more detailed description of the insult, embarrassment, and inconvenience we suffered today, when my employees, tired and expecting a room, even after the "Choice Privileges" head office called the hotel directly, only to have "Chandu Patel" adamantly refuse the reservation. I have only just begun. This is an outrage. I am one of those high energy business owners who will relentlessly blog and post about how very, very upset I am. If you are a business owner, and you attempt to reserve a room for a client or employee at this hotel, or via this "Choice Priveleges" service...BEWARE: no matter what nonsense they tell you over the phone, when your client or employees get to the hotel, "Chandu" will make them pay cash, or use their personal credit card, even if you were told, and assured, and guaranteed otherwise. You've been warned.
