I purchased a bag of Kit Kats. They were stale.
I returned to the store the same day to purchase some other items and return the bag of candy. The manager, who I believe name is Chris, advised me that they are not suppose to provide a refund to customers for candy once the bag is open. He stated it was store policy.
I explained to him and the cashier that this policy does not make sense and if this is the case, something should be posted to let the customers know that there is a nonrefundable policy when purchasing bagged candy.
After much discussion, the manager refunded me my money. I would like to know if this is in fact Family Dollar's policy regarding bagged candy.
