AMC Theatres - Handicap non-accessibility

We have been going to the AMC theater in Richmond, Indiana for several years.

Not only for the reasonable price and location, but also because of my handicap

brother. For years, the movie theater has always had a wheelchair available, and

they have always wheeled my brother to where the room the movie was playing, and then after the movie they would come to het him and wheel him back to the door.

We went to the theater this past Monday, and they told us they no longer have this service for handicap people. I am extremely disappointed in this.

The main doors into the theater are not even CIfhandicap accessible. I was under the assumption that public facilities were required to be handicapped accessible.

Preferred solution: I would like the wheelchair to be available for the handicapped so that they can get to the movies with ease.

The ADA act only requires lowered sidewalk access, handicap parking and wheelchair accessible seating. They are not required to provide a wheelchair and transport into the theater.

No Socialism. It is all about personal responsibility.
