Imperial Oil Limited - Esso and their Head Office responses to complaints is disrespectful

What started as a simple complaint regarding the very poor service I received at one of their station was made much worse when I sent a complaint to their head office(Imperial Oil Ltd.). Not only did they not respond to this complaint until AFTER I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, they exasperated the problem by disregarding my wishes to be contacted via email only and gave my phone number to the very person(Satinder,station manager) who originally caused my frustration. She called me and right from the start accused me of being a liar and picking at the details of my complaint making me infuriated to the point that I had to hang up on her as she wouldn't let me say 1 single word. The "Customer Service Specialist", Elizabeth Benoit, tried 2 times to call me, again against my wishes, and then finally responded to the Better Business Bureau and to my email address with a candy coated letter that made it appear that they did everything possible to please me as a customer and went as far as to LIE about what they actually did. I am not even that concerned with the poor experience I received at the station but rather the completely unprofessional way their Head Office handled my complaint.

Austin Research Institute - Austin Reasearch Inst. stole my money!

After seeing a convincing referral to some all natural male enhancement pills I went to the site and purchased some for $181.93(invigorex-169.98,s&h-11.95). I received a receipt soon after and after almost a month I was wondering where they were but waited a while in case they were held up in customs or something.They still didn't arrive so I emailed their customer support address and they said it takes 8-15 business days for orders to my country and would be arriving soon(customer service rep. was Donald Harris). After a while longer (24 business days) I responded to their reply and received no response. I sent it again days later and still heard nothing. Finally, I demanded they find out what happened and have still not heard back from their customer service. I think they never shipped it and are counting on the fact that due to the nature of this product, people would be too embarrassed to complain to the authorities. The reason I think this is due to the fact they won't acknowledge or respond to my requests for anything that would help me track the parcel. I checked with the Better Business Bureau of Maryland and they have an unsatifactory rating due to the same or similar complaints.

Just to update this problem, it has been solved but not by the company"Austin Research Inst." but by me and my credit card company. It was clearly fraud so they just reversed the charges.

The Better Business Bureau had no luck contacting them either.

I don't believe that this business is legitimate AT ALL, always check the BBB rating BEFORE you order anything online. I was lucky, I got my money back but wasted a lot of time doing it.

Do NOT order proactive solution or any other product from this unscrupulous company. They are dishonest and will cause a lot of grief. There is a lot of ambiguous wording at the order screen, you think you are ordering a trial kit but you will find them billing your credit card every 30 to 60 days because in reality you "joined a club" and if you cancel you will still be charged s&h because you didn't read the fine print. If you complain you will get the same passive-aggresive responses over and over again. They even lied to the Better Business Bureau stating they were refunding the full amount and then still charged me the S&H "as per our aggreement"
