Resolved: 1800 Pack Rat - Unreliable Company

Updated by user Aug 14, 2021

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. My issue with 1-800-Pack Rat has been resolved. They compensated me $50/day for 6 days the POD was delivered late..

Original review Jul 15, 2021
We contracted with this company, and are regretting it. They lie. They said they would email a contract, but never emailed it. If you are a new customer, they answer immediately. If you are under contract, you CANNOT reach them. You are on hold for hours, listening to their loud piano music, until you can't take it any longer and hang up. They confirmed pick-up and delivery of a POD and no-showed.

Western Union is Deceptive

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Mar 04, 2017

It gets even worse. After my grandson went to a Safeway Store to get the Western Union, they refused to accept his ID, which is legitimate, and would not give him the money. The location of the Safeway is the one given to me by Western Union's Customer Service Rep, who told me my grandson could get the money there.

Original review Mar 03, 2017
I sent my grandson $400 via Western Union, and when he tried to get the money at a Walgreen's located in Mesa, AZ, the maximum he could get is $300. There was absolutely nothing stated about limitations when I made the transaction. In my way of thinking, this is called FRAUD when a business takes your money, and then won't give it to you. Their Customer Service is next to impossible to reach. After you finally manage to reach someone, there's a communication issue due to their lack of fluent English. Between me and my husband, we have wasted over an hour and a half, trying to resolve the situation.

It took FOUR DAYS for my grandson to find a Western Union that would release the $400 I wired him. When I sent the money, it took two minutes for Western Union to take it from my bank account.

Funny how that works! If they do that to every customer, they're making out like bandits collecting interest.

Annoying Email Ads From Keranique!

How many times do I have to "unsubscribe" to STOP receiving Keranique's annoying email advertisements? I would think THREE should be more than enough times!!! They're like the "Beast That Wouldn't Die!" I have never used Keranique's product, I am not interested in using their product, and will never use their product, because I've copped an attitude over their junk emails. I should only have to unsubscribe once! Go away, Keranique, and stop sending me your annoying junk emails. I don't want a free trial of your product. All I want from you is to lose my email address and find a less irritating way to market your product. If everyone feels the same way I do, you will never get any orders. Keranique is like a phone solicitor who ignores your request to be removed from their calling list, even though you are on the "Do Not Call" register.

I Wish I knew how to get rid of these parasites. They do not have a site to unsubscribe.

I have called them many times telling them to stop sending me their advertisement. I will report them to the

appropriate Government Agency

The Realreal - What a Waste of Money!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I purchased a used Prada handbag from this consignment company, and the picture looked good. Their shipping is slow, compared to other companies I buy from. When it arrived, I was shocked that it was much more worn than the deceptive picture depicted. I had zoomed in on the picture, but no white fraying showed where the black purse strap attaches to the metal rings. The fraying stands out like a sore thumb, and if I had seen it, I would not have bought the purse. The strap is made from naugahyde. If you buy from this company, don't make the same mistake I did, because I cannot return it. Read their return policy before you buy from them!

ConsumerAffairs - Consumer Affairs Site is Bogus

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I want to warn everyone NOT to create an account on a site named "Consumer Affairs." You will be BOMBARDED with junk emails after you do. If the onslaught of junk emails aren't aggravating enough, the login password you created doesn't work either and you can't sign in. They very cleverly named their site "Consumer Affairs" to make you think they're official. All they want is your information so they can sell it, so take my advice and do NOT give them your phone number, email address, or any other personal information. You will be sorry like me if you do.

AO Smith - A.O. Smith Promax Water Heater is a Piece of Junk

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
What an expensive piece of JUNK A.O. Smith's Promax electric water heater has been. We had a 50-gallon water heater installed by plumbers 3-1/2 yrs. ago, and it has already stopped working. It has supplied inconsistent water temperatures from Day One, constantly fluctuating from scalding to freezing. The estimated operating expense per year is $520, which we were unaware of until it quit working. We are not wasting any more money having this P.O.S. repaired, and are going to cut our losses and replace it with a G.E. Geospring GEH50DEEDSR, which has an operating expense of $195 per year. Do your due diligence, and DO NOT let your plumber make the decision on which water heater they install. STAY AWAY from A.O. Smith!!!

Resolved: CafePress sells items they don't have

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I placed an order online with CafePress. I never order items that are out of stock, because I have had bad experiences with companies taking my money immediately, but not shipping the item for weeks if at all. Every item I ordered from CafePress said, "In Stock." I received an email that all my items had been shipped. Then 2 days later, I received another email that one item had not been shipped and was "in production." I contacted customer service and received this brilliant reply from Khalid A.: "Thank you for contacting CafePress. I'll be happy to assist you. I checked and saw that your order is out of product and has been shipped." Stay away from this company, or you will be in for frustration. I wish I had read the hundreds of complaints before I placed my order.

CenturyLink Strikes Again!

CenturyLink's internet service causes me to waste so much time, correcting problems THEY create! My email name was dropped, and replaced with "CenturyLink Customer." My friends thought my emails were junk and were deleting them. I did a live chat, and the tech told me my email had been compromised, and I needed to change my password. After I changed it, my email still said "CenturyLink Customer," so I did another live chat. The next tech told me some work was done on the portal for consolidation purposes, and "a few customers saw that change." He gave me the location to correct the problem, and tried to get rid of me. My attitude is, "You created the problem, so you need to fix it!" Their techs are either incompetent, or have an attitude the size of Texas and resent helping the customers. The only thing CenturyLink is good at is raising their rates. They are rated Number 1 on my list of "Most Hated Companies!" Unfortunately, we live in a remote area and have no options to change providers, so we're stuck with them.

Thank you so much

The location is Hockinson, Washington.

I'm curious... What was the "location to correct the problem"?

I am having the same issue...

and perhaps asking here will be less painful than asking CenturyLink. Much Appreciated.

CVS Caremark - CareMark is like gum stuck on your shoe. You can't get rid of them!

CareMark called our phone number, soliciting business. My husband fell for their pitch and agreed to have them mail his prescriptions. It's ended up being a nightmare! They were sending pills too frequently and he didn't need any more. He called them repeatedly for ONE YEAR, and each person he talked to said they would stop sending them. He'd given them his card number and had to cancel his card. Here came more pills he didn't order and doesn't need in today's mail with a $70 invoice. What *** artists and liars they are! Do not get mixed up with CareMark, or you will regret it!

Seamless is a Rotten Company that put fraudulent charges on my credit card

I've never heard of "Seamless," until unauthorized charges were put on my credit card by them. I researched them online, and you need to have an account to order food online from them.

I called their 24/7 Customer Care and told them fraudulent charges were being made on my credit card. After looking my name and email address up, they told me I wasn't in their system and they couldn't help me, and I needed to call my credit card holder. Thanks for your assistance, you incompetent jerks! I had to cancel my credit card to put a stop to the fraudulent charges, and I'm pissed.

What a rotten-a$$ company!

It just happened to me too today July 2019

Guest

Same here I had 4 unauthorized charges to my bank account card today within an hour originating from Brooklyn NY , Vicki's restaraunt, Domino's pizza, Best Buys totaling over 1000 dollars. I've never heard of Seamless and I've never been to Brooklyn nor live anywhere near there. Something needs to be done about these criminals.

Guest

I also had 2 charges from Seamless in the span of 8 days. Over $60 of completely unauthorized charges! what a fraudulent company!

Guest

This happened TWICE to both my wife and daughter, two different accounts. The only place they had charges in common was Seamless.

Guest

I had the same problem as you did today.

They need to be fined for facilitating credit card fraud! I also sent them an email and a letter and received NO RESPONSE.

They're so greedy for money, they don't care how they get it.

Make sure to have an "alert" put on by the 3 credit agencies. They view credit card theft as identity theft.

If you notify one, they will notify the other 2, and will keep the alert on for 90 days.
